| Today I walked home from work. It took me about an hour and 40 minutes. I trotted up half of Christmas steps and a vertical hill next to the BRI that leads to Kingsdown Parade. It was good.
Yesterday at work I was handed a whole smoked trout in a bag.

| I have been looking at old maps quite a lot recently at work and I have come to the following conclusions:
1) Road names are in fact very useful.
2) There is a very good reason to use a fricking north arrow.
Both of these are OK TO USE. Having nothing but a field shown on a plan with the county it's in (and the parish if you're lucky) IS NOT HELPFUL. | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |

Lucy says: "I teamed up with Copenhagen based design outlet Spoiled Milk to launch the Being Abroad project. We're collecting personal stories and artwork about spending time abroad, with the goal of creating a limited set of hand produced books that sidestep the traditional styles of travel writing to focus on the emotional aspects and consequences of living abroad. If you’ve spent more than a month in a place other than your country of birth then please visit the website and think about contributing."

| I like super glue. I have used it for many things in my time at university. Many of them have been to do with feathers and plastic glasses (plastics?). But not at the same time so far. I have taken note of the warning on the back though; bonds skin and eyes in seconds.
Let's just take a moment to picture that happening.
Thank you. | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |
| I wasn't gonna bother with this but meh why not... http://kevan.org/johari?name=zeeb
I tried to have a blood test the other day and it turns out I have no veins. Or that I wasn't hydrated enough. One of the two. Now I have to try somewhere else to see if they have more luck. I'm letting the holes heal over first though, just in case they have to poke the same places. I don't much like needles, damnit.
I somehow did quite well on my exams. Getting a degree could turn out to be one of the funniest things in my life. I'm such a git at times \o/
I have a new icon. Wait, two new icons. They are both of me being drunk. Possibly on the same evening, who knows. I think I had fun. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
