I knew I hadnt updated this thing in awhile but I didnt think it was -that- long ago. ^^;; Probably due to the fact nothing overly exciting has happened to write about.
I was looking forward to attending AE again this year. Its usually one of my favorite conventions and its cheap too which is all the better. But sadly no, this convention was not meant to be for Kari. Kari had to go and get Anemia and all sorts of other deficiencies. Twas not impressed. I missed three days of work after collapsing several times. I was than hooked up with about a bizillion different vitamins and other such things and now about five days later I'm feeling a whole lot better but its so bloody boring here and I dont know what to do!! I've forgotten what people do on their days off. I really wanted to go to AE with everyone and am stupidly jealous and miffed that I was unable to do so. ;-;
So instead I went out and bought a big cake and lots of cookies and intend to make myself feel better that way. ^^;;

So we returned late last night from Kei Kon in which we were dealers and an intermission half way through the cosplay since we were all too bitter to actually enter it this year. As dealers we did pretty well, since the actual con doesnt offer to much in the way of entertainment and things to do it was nice to just have pictures taken and perform. For our skit we did fights from Soul Calibur, I think we scared the staff since we didnt tell them exactly -what- we were doing before we did it. ^^;; Anywho it turned out that when they announced the awards for the cosplay we ended up winning the Judges Choice award. XD;; It was kinda cool. Even though the convention was small it kinda helped with all out convention withdrawals that we all seemed to be suffering from. Now only a short time left until Sakura Con! ^_^

After being informed of my lack of posting on LJ I've decided to make a post. Although what should I post about? Getting back into things work wise and whatnot after my trip. Realized Im really not staying there my longer. My boss took yet ANOTHER trip somewhere and now he'll be returning to the entire afternoon shift gone and half of day shift. With any luck Ill be gone as well. Haaaaaaaaate~
Anywho, on a happier note, I was finally able to get over to my parents place to upload all of our pictures from Hawaii. Wow, we're tourists.

After almost a week of trying to find a local place around here for internet access I finally found one. (Right behind my hotel in a dingy alleyway no less) Oh well, its cheap and its kinda cute in here. Yay, Im so happy to have internet again if only for a little while.
Its so bloody hot down here. Usually 80+ or highter. We've done alot of touristy things which I kinda hate. We're right beside the ocean so we can walk all downtown and sightsee a bit. The best store so far is called "The Stupid Factory". I think its a clothing store or something. ABC Stores are also beginning to become greatly annoying. Their condensed versions of Wal-mart- the size of a small convience store but about a billion times more popular than Starbucks. I saw three diffrent ones in a ROW!! >.<;
We toured around the International Market Pace and the Internation Fea Market. My parents bought me a really pretty giant black fan with hand painted chinese dragons on it. Than the other day my dad picked out a gorgeous sword for me. Its really pretty and shiny and pointy!! ^__^ *oogles and drools* Now I have to find a way to pack the thing and get it over customs. XD
Other than swimming and fearing for my life about the sharks, its not that great. Some days are a little slower than others and Im not the partying type of person- nor do I have the money for it. Tomorrow we're going to a Luau. Yay, nothing like roasting a pig in the dirt. I think Im going to learn how to dance though, might as well neh?
Earlier today we got ourselves lost in the Dole Pineapple maze. (Yes, we are lame tourists.) Which I couldnt help being reminded on the Harry Potter Maze. Stricking resembalance really. We had to find six different stalls hidden within it to collect a stamp.
Oh.. and I saw COWS!!! BIG cows!! They were everywhere. ^__^

This will probably be my last post till I leave. Just like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and Happy Holidays and all that jazz, that since I won't be around to see a lot of you at this years New Years Party. T__T Thats depressing. Maybe I'll phone home NY's eve. ^.^

This year I've been busy!
In February naoka_chan and I robbed a bank (-50 points). In November on a flight to Pakistan, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Sunday I turned izuro in for eating carbs (3 points). In April I pushed _leareth in the mud (-17 points). In September I committed genocide... Sorry about that, jing (-5000 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-5104 points). For Christmas I deserve a lump of coal!

So many christmas lists are popping up all of a sudden, but you wont get one from me. Mainly cause I dont know what the heck I want- also the fact I wont get too see anyone on these holidays so it doesnt matter. *pouts and whines* Although one thing I would really like, but I cant really have is a cute little white ferret. One that I could name Draco and he would be- well, a little less than cuddly 'cause he's Draco. >.> Im such a sucker for cute animals.
Regardless of what anyone says. Cows ARE cute!!!
And now to keep up with my trend, I think I shall go to sleep as getting up at 6:30am 5 days a week sucks and no matter how much sleep I get I'll forever be tired and cranky. u_u Nyuu...

My burning hatred for Harry Potter is slowly diminishing and changing into something closely resembling affection. Damn you Potter!! ...and rooomates. You've almost-not-quite turned me into one of you. >.>
We went to see the newest movie today at noon- in costume I might add. I was more or less forced to be Lucius, but now I like him. We were one of the only people dressing up too. Normally with things like that you see a lot more costumes.
I dislike Harry in general, but the Malfoy's are so great and whiney. Again, my love for pretty long hair has doomed me into liking Lucius and all his hair ribbons. The new movie was pretty good. Their getting darker and more interesting than the first one. Perhaps one day after I finish some of my current books I may pick up where I left off in the first HP book- the point where I got frustrated at how stupid and childish it was and threw it across the room.

They only seem to frustrate me more and more these days. My parents are finally getting their so much talked about divorce which blows. Why is it that when they decide this each one trys to turn their children against the other parent?
In their own stupid way, they're now trying to make it up to us by taking us to Honolulu for Christmas this year. It sucks on many levels: I wont be around for the New Years party this year, also I have to spend Christmas in the blazing heat and no snow at all. Its not Christmas without snow. ;-; This will be our last family trip- not that we ever actually went on any trips before, none that were farther than Alberta when I was two anyways. I've travelled more within the last few years with my friends than I ever have. I think Im leaving sometime on the 20th of December to the 4th on January. If my parents were going to take us anywhere why did it have to be such a touristy based place. Why not somewhere cool like Australlia or Translyvania? Frankly my idea of leaving a tiny island and visiting a slightly larger more explosive island doesnt appeal to me.

We returned home from Yaoi Con Monday morning after significant troubles and lots of running to meet the ferry/buses etc. Why is it -every- single time I go on a trip to Vancouver I end up running and almost missing the ferry five minutes before its scheduled departure. It sucks! For once I'd like to get there early.
The trip down there was one of the better ones I've had. It was the first Yaoi Con I was actually able to hear! Ear Planes are my god. Painful gods, but gods nonetheless. ^__^ We arrived down there Thursday so we could do some sight seeing and relax (HA!) a little beforehand. Although this just made us race around more because things didnt go how we had hoped. Our wigs never showed up before we left or at the hotel so we bought so new ones... Only to find out that the following day they WOULD show up at the hotel. >.>;;; All except mine of course. Narg! During our touring we got to ride on the Trollies that San Fran is famous for. They were sooo kool! Riding on them was one of my childhood dreams. (Damn you Full House.) I never realized how erm... hill-full San Fran really was but walking up an down each one drived that fact in rather well.
We visited a really pretty cathedral at the top of one of them. It was so beautiful, I really wanted to have a Yami no Matsuei photoshoot in there, but that would kinda be sacriledge. ^^;;
Do people in the U.S. not sit on mall floors without being mistaken for bums? o.O; Seriously, we were casually sitting against the wall in a mall waiting for our friends to return and these people walked by and threw change at us. WTF?
The actually con itself was pretty good. Kakumei took home another award. This time the Judges Award, it was our third one in a row. It makes me feel special and happy. ^.^ We all cosplayed Yami no Matsuei on Friday, than our Petshop of Yaoi costumes saturday. I was Ten-chan. Sunday I was Soubi from Loveless.
My wig only decided to show up when we arrived back home but even then it wasnt the right one. Its still -really- pretty but its only semi-long, brown and uber curly. Which is the complete oppisite of what I wanted. Long, silver/white and slightly wavy. Those people get shunned now.
Other news...Now chinese bootleggers are selling me on eBay... well, my Riza Hawkeye Masqurade Dress anyways. o.O; Um... weirded out. At least they chopped my head off. XD!

So I'm offically 20 now. Not like it feels any different from any other year but oh well, its another year I suppose. It kinda makes me feel old. Aside from having to work today (even though I booked all week off) it went rather well. Another slack day in the back than I came home and got really cute pressies from people. Everything was very cow-orientated, it amused me. Even my cake was black and white.
Liz-face made me a cow patterned blanket!! ^_____^ I love it so much its warm and cow-ish. I also got a singing cow that kinda frightens me. Cows dont sing, and now I know why. ^^;;
Bon-face gave me lots of Cow socks, so now I have a pair for every day of the week!! XD *grins* And also pretty, pretty Angel Sanctuary stationary. Loves to everyone!
Yesterday my parents took me out to dinner at Yoshi Sushi. Mmm... twas so yummy. I love sushi and so does my brother randomly. He really didnt seem like the type to even want to try anything new, as well as Quasi. >.> Why did she have to attend. She kept complaining that the chopsticks were hard to use and that they were stupid. Grah. She should move back to her belltower.
Now I shall return upstairs to finish my cow cake. n_n

Timmy's is closing for renovations very shortly. Huzzah! An oven that works? *gasp* Imagine that! Perhaps afterwards we wont be the ghetto-est Timmy's ever. XD In the meantime I've booked like two weeks off and my other 'working' days will be me in the back of a different store watching training videos. Im getting paid to watch boring videos. Always a plus.
I'm not late, really. Theres still about an hour.

Sakaia, my uke rat, died yesterday while I was at work. Stupid morning shift, if it had been afternoon I probably would have took notice of him earlier. Kit looks so confused and dejected, huddled at the back of his cage all alone. ;-; Sakaia was suffering from respitory problems so I knew he didnt have much longer. I was moderately prepared for it. Brookie helped make him a coffin because I couldnt touch him.
This morning, I woke up half expecting him to still be there. We've come to the conclusion AE is not a rat-friendly convention. My dad is going to come pick him up and bury him out at their house, its nicier out there. ^^

I finally did it. I stopped procrastinating and handed out more resumes! Well, only a few but hey, thats a huge step for me. ^_^
Work sucks more than ever, not only is everyone quitting which leaves me with like 20 newbies (litrally) but this weekend blew. It was soo horribly busy due to the stupid Marine Festival/Bathtub races. T_T I never liked them as a kid, but I hate them even more now. People are randomly bitchy at work too- coworkers and customers.
I want to get hired at Avalon Cinemas. Free movies! XD Its not any closer to home but its better.
I need to get in contact with my dad agian. He's been up island fishing for the past couple weeks and I dont get to talk with him. He's into the whole 'I need to start looking after myself and not caring what anyone else needs or thinks." He gets like that every time my mom leaves. When I do talk to him its randomly short and extremely pointless. My parents have absolutely nothing to talk about. My mom at least believes that her conversations hold some strange form of meaning. Its amusing. However, whenever my dad gets home I shall make him come over and rid our yard of the nest of swarming wasps. This would be much appriciated.
