This journal will no longer be updated. If I ever feel like blogging again, it might come back to life. I'm not deleting it because it's so full of precious memories and also, you know, icons ;)
It was a blast, everybody :)
Oh! Was forgetting...you're completely free to take me off your flists...I mean, it's not like there's gonna be anything interesting...anything AT ALL to see here in the future :x
I'll keep checking in with my flist as often as possible, though. Even if you don't see me commenting, I'm reading. Really!

There was Ron Howard shooting the prequel of the movie 'The Da Vinci Code' tonight in Piazza Navona :D :D :D
I got to see Tom Hanks acting! It was pretty surreal ^_^
(although right now we got Bush here in Rome, too, don't we? He and Berlusconi are having all kinds of fun together, the pretty homo couple that they are D: Do you know what Berlusconi said? He said he would love for McCain to win because that way he wouldn't be the oldest fucker in the next G8...and I really don't want to be Italian and accept the fact that he's representing me. You know, I want Obama to win SO BAD. I really really want to see how Berlusconi behaves around him. Can't really start licking Obama's ass, too, right. At least I hope so :|)

I think it's only fair that I warn my flist that...my qaf obsession has greatly decreased as of late >_<
And that...as much as I still love the show and the characters and Giastin Mine veryveryvery much (I'll always be hearting them in my heart and thinking about them in the wee hours of the night), I can't see myself taking part in any fandom activity anymore.
Not that surprising, right? Seeing my behaviour in the past weeks, I mean.
Soooo, what I'm trying to say is, I totally understand if anyone wants to take me off their flists...given that you won't be seeing much qaf-related stuff from this journal in the future. What you will be seeing is exactly what you have been seeing for a while now...random rl posts and various dorky interests-related posts.
I have tried to cling to my obsession, but I found it only irritated me ç__ç

I wanted to let my flist know that I created a different graphic comm where I will be posting all my non-qaf stuff from now on (I plan on dedicating myself to things other than qaf in the future, yes, and while that will indeed mean much less frequent posts from me over at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) danger_graphics, it won't mean I'll never make qaf-related graphics again in the future).
I plan on working on stock and movie icons especially, but I can't exclude anime and tv shows, either ^__^"

You need to know that I am a 'mangiona'. One who eats lots and lots, like six times a day. Breakfast, middle of the morning, lunch, middle of the afternoon, dinner...and midnight, too. So that makes it seven times. Uh-uh. What I want to say is that, apart from a period three years ago when I decided I was on a strict diet because I was a bit overweight, all my life I have eaten really, really a lot. And recently even more, because more often than not I am bored/need food to cheer me up ^o^
Today, I want to present you a meal that literally makes my mouth water, and it's even healthy, wooohoooo!!!
( big piccie (wait, is that an oxymoron? o_O ) of the sweet sweet meal! )

Also, random but I need to tell: ugly_icons and iconrants are addictive to read. Just found out about them today, and I'm not sure if I should cry myself silly for the...uum, the slack icon-makers are NOT cut over there (I sort of recognized myself in some of the things I saw people ranting about...hello abuse of Selective Coloring!! haha), or laff myself uncoscious for the utter brilliance of the majority of the things that are being said. I do know I am now mildly obsessed with both communities. Are there any other such communities that I should know about? :DD
I almost feel the need to post at ugly_icons to show off one of my own brilliant creations. I know of one that would probably cause many bad cases of diharrea ^o^

How did my birthday go anyway. IT WAS SO NOT A BLAST. Of the only two 'friends' who I thought would remember to wish me a happy birthday, none called. But maybe it was me who had too much expectation. It doesn't matter, I felt loved anyway. Even if by my fandom friends. My family sure treated me well, too! I have a new digital camera, people!! That means I can now take grrrreat pics, and even make icons from them ^__^
Speaking of icons...I had thought about putting up a request post over at danger_graphics, but nanoa just did another one, so I'm guessing I lost my chance :|
I am also thinking about doing another 100icons. But I don't really know who might be the best subject...I don't want to do b/j.

Before I started making icons, I was so much more a part of fandom. I think since I discovered PhotoShop, graphics have become my first fandom, actually. Icon making steals practically all my fandom time away from me. Yeah, icon making has become fandom, to me.
But what about the people, I feel like I'm loosing everyone, and it's my own fault for not managing to reply to comments like I should, like you deserve, for flying over my friend page, most of the time. I think I've *never* been as ignoring of my flist's posts as I am now. It's bad, because while I care for you all, I care a *lot* about some of you, and still lately I know not even my affections have been able make me to listen to you and be there for you.
I see my icons popping up here and there, and I think, well. It looks like now you really are a part of fandom, you and your icons. But then I realize that while my icons pop up here and there, it's me who's missing. And maybe I think it's a bit sad, but still it doesn't change the fact that my *passion* right now lies in PS and graphics. And sometimes I think, my icons aren't so much about Brian and Justin as much as about icons, and making a pretty, if useless, thing that I can be proud of. Bottom line is, I may have become a good icon-maker, but in the process I also became an AWFUL friend.
I am an artist. I sort of forgot it while struggling through high school, but I am. At least, I feel like I have an artist's heart. It may not seem very credible to you, but I do know how to draw WELL ;)
And now that I have found this new form of artistic realise, it looks like nothing else can slip through but that.

Oh. Um. I needed to get that off my very sad flat chest. Aloa.
Wait. Can you remember my crazy picspasms? I bet you're relieved I don't do that anymore, LOL. But I think they were endearing. How could you not love me! hehe.
Oh, and. About the icon I said I was so proud of? It's the one I'm posting with, and fuck me, but it has gorgeous colors, and a gorgeous sleeping beauty, and it's overall a great icon, if I may say so myself ;P
