Well, my New Years Resolution appears to be going to crap in a handbasket...
But other than that, Life is Subarashi! The anime series The Slayers has started up a whole new 26 episode series this month, and Stargate: Atlantis season 5 is starting this Friday! *jumps up and down in anticipation*

It's been far, far too long since I've felt any real creative urges. I have some theories to why this is, and since I don't want to bore you all I'm going to put it all under an cut.

Well, yay. Weather was excellent today, when I left my dorm to eat and do the unavoidable social thing. Now I'm all jittery because I have a speech in 6 & 1/2 hours, and can't seem to sleep.
I hate stage fright. No matter how prepared I am, when becoming the focus of attention I absolutely choke. Memorization usually helps a lot, but the delivery style my class wants me to use is extemporaneous, not memorization.
Also, I need to buy an umbrella. Seems there's a high chance of rain the entire week, and having my book bag become water logged again like last week wednesday night isn't my cup of tea.
On the upside, all the temperatures for this week are either high 50s to low 70s!Current Mood:  anxious |

Hi ya.
I know I've promised lots of things, and it has been forever since I did so. Bare with me here.
( The really crappy explanation, that just seems boldly pathetic. )
If I've promised you something, and you haven't gotten it, remind me here. In all likelihood I've simply forgotten that I *did* promise that specific item in all the droning monotony that is research, write, and repeat.
Just thought people would like to know I live, though it seems to me in a not so true sense of the word.
(And I'm going to sleep now, since I have a crap load of Chemistry, Physics, and Speech homework to do for Monday. If I need a break -- and I most assuredly will -- I'll come back here to see what I can do for those promises I've yet to keep.)Current Mood:  Introspectively depressed. |

1. Gensomaden Saiyuki -- Genjyo Sanzo, guessed by chronostears -- The first blonde character I ever fangirled over. He's *hot*, he's a bastard, but he's *human*!
2. Sailor Moon -- Sailor Saturn, guessed by chronostears -- She's the most dangerous of the Sailor Scouts, her color is purple, and she's the one who's life is most screwed up from being what she is.
3. Yugioh -- Seto Kaiba, guessed first by katarik -- Because he's the misunderstood protagonist/antagonist of the series, and he's the smart pretty boy who's struggling against fate. He honestly has the potential to be the best... if only fate wasn't being a bitch.
4. Naruto -- Umino Iruka, guessed by chonostears -- He's seemingly mediocre with a tragic background, but he's got obvious and secret connections that make him seem to be slightly more than a regular ninja teacher.
5. Bleach -- Ishida Uryuu, guessed by chronostears -- He's slightly dorky when left to himself, but when things get serious, he's deadly sexy.
6. Digimon 02 -- Ichijouji Ken, guessed by chronostears -- Another character with the split-personality quality. His fanfiction persona is what really grabbed me first, and his brief evil episode being induced by a childhood mission in a second world gone wrong gives him the most solid and interesting character in the series.
7. Cardcaptor Sakura -- Hiiragizawa Eriol or Li Syaoran, guessed half by chronostears and half by trunks_angel. Eriol is a misunderstood good guy, doing evil things for a good purpose. Syaoran is the kid with loads of potential, but little to sporatic support to help him reach that potential. And they both know magic! A pair that I can't help but love equally well.
8. Tsubasa Reservoir -- Li Syaoran, guessed by katarik -- He's got the split-personality/being thing going for him, *and* he has a more central role here than he did in Cardcaptor Sakura.
9. Animated Teen Titans -- Robin or Slade, guessed by katarik -- Slade, because he's the smartest and smoothest out of all the villains, Robin because he's the sole human fighting in a team of super-powered heroes. They play so *well* against each other, I honestly can't pick between them.
10. D.N. Angel -- Krad or Satoshi, guessed by katarik -- Krad... Well, he's a sadistic bastard, but he's got such a soft spot for Satoshi in the manga. Satoshi's just hot in that smart pretty boy way of his. Another pair I can't pick between.

I transferred colleges for the new semester, and now I'm living on the other side of the state. I'm still getting used to University life versus commuter Community College, so if you see me flitting around my Google mail without saying hi, it's not because I mean to be rude, but just that I'm busy with school work.
I'm taking 18 credits this semester! Isn't life grand? (It's only Wednesday morning and I'm already drained.)
I'm driving back home this weekend to get a few things I forgot, drop off some important documents, get my mail, and love my folks some more. Depending on mailing circumstances I may have to do the same thing the weekend after as well.
