Continuing with "Misha's a bitch," I finally caved and ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair this morning. My current desk chair doesn't work well with my new desk, which is a bit higher than the previous one, and it's causing all kinds of strain in my right shoulder, so out the window that goes. I reasoned that I likely spend 10 hours a day at least 200 days a year sitting in my desk chair, so $800 for a posh chair is a relatively minimal investment (I got it for a good deal less than that, too).

I'm working off of two hours of sleep today, which makes me feel like jolly good shit all around. The fact that it's cloudy again today isn't really helping my spirits, either. It's been cloudy or storming almost non-stop for the last ten days, and the forecast calls for at least a few more days of this weather.

Krissy is moving out today and over to some apparently pimp apartments at Legacy and Tollway. She told me I should move out there as well when my lease is up here, which I guess is an option if I decide to stay around Dallas. Meanwhile, Meg left today for a four-day band trip to New Orleans, which will be the longest we'll have been apart during the last three weeks (being corny and all that cal).

I'm thinking of catching Blackalicious at the Canyon Club tonight with Scott tonight, although that's fully dependent on actually having the strength and energy to do so. Blazing Arrow, their new album that drops in a couple weeks, is pretty solid, even if the rip that I have of it isn't. Otherwise the weather's poised to be shitty again this weekend, which means no skydiving and likely no biking, either; not that biking when the humidity is upwards of 80 percent is exactly pleasant.
