Well look at that, I am a paid account holder until August [09 Jun 2008|12:28pm]
Why, you ask? Because [info]shamzmam and I have a new podcast called The Children's Hour of Knowledge! Yes, I know YOU already know about it, I'm just telling the other guys. It's syndicated to LJ at [info]hourofknowledge (currently weird-looking, will be fixed soon). This has given me cause to update my LJ userinfo for the first time all century, so you know it's important. Listen! Enjoy! Tell your LJ-friends!

You are part of a secret. [19 Nov 2004|02:57pm]
I never update this journal, because I already have another journal that I am busy not updating. Except today I am updating this journal. This is a landmark, for two reasons.
  1. I never update this journal (I may have mentioned this).

  2. I am... I'm not going to call this a "meme," because I don't want to continue the further bastardization of that already highly coupled word. What I am doing is taking a page from [info]snizzpod and using the opportunity to get back into drawing practice, exclusively for you, you humans who were kind enough to let me read your friends-only posts without the expectation of anything in return.
It goes like this.

Post a comment on this entry, and I will draw you a picture of one of your LJ interests, my pick. It will probably suck, because I haven't drawn anything in like ten months. But I will draw it nonetheless, and post it in a reply to your comment. You are free to do with it whatever you like.

Of note [30 Jun 2004|04:57pm]
It finally occurred to me that there are a good thirty people who have friended this journal, but not my real journal's RSS feed ([info]xorph). Granted, if you are not interested in my real journal there's a good possibility you won't be interested in this either, but I have never been one to take logic without a grain of salt.

For almost a year, I have been producing five ultra-short stories a week on my web site, but I only recently made this fact public. It's a project called Anacrusis, and I'm trying to get better at it as I go. If it sounds like something you'd like to read, you can either check the site and read more about it or just friend its LJ feed at [info]_anacrusis (once again thanks to [info]allilea). I would be flattered if you did.

Communities [16 Dec 2003|10:51pm]
Since LJ repealed the invite code system (but for how long?), I took advantage and started a new community. Its main purpose is to allow easy, asynchronous group communication among the people going with me to Comic Con 2004 next summer, but it's an open thing. Anyone can join, especially people who are going to CC but not actually taking the trip with us (that means you, airsickmoth and [info]polarkat). People not going to California can join too, obviously, but they'll probably get bored.

So yeah. If you're reading this on your friends page and we've talked about this before, yah! Mush! Get over to [info]calicomicon and start answering questions!

While I'm on the subject of communities, I just realized that I've never actualy posted here about [info]zomziepie. My brother Ian ([info]slagzoo) and his roomie Noah ([info]sappho13) started it, and it's a thing of beauty. Love pastry? Loathe the undead? I hope by now you know where to go.

Read me! [30 Nov 2003|11:43pm]
I've been meaning for weeks to set up a syndicated LJ account for NFD, it was just a matter of figuring out if it'd expire when my (temporarily) paid account did--but, as it turns out, a very kind somebody went and did it for me. If you've got at least .669 syndicated feed-points left, you can subscribe to the feed and enjoy my feverish lunacy from the safety of your hypoallergenic friends page.

This is not a journal. This is a placeholder. You probably followed me here from one of my comments on somebody else's journal, which is the only real reason I have this account, thanks to the kindly Stephen. I like commenting, and I have nothing against LJ personally, it's just that I've already got my own nifty open-source journal, living and breathing over at not falling down. Go read that instead!
