2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.

Oh snap! I'm back, and I've finally actually written something and finished it. :D THIS IS ASTOUNDING.
Okay, it's probably going to need sequels at some point, but whatever. I think I'll just do a series of one-shots like it.
Title: Kansas

Rating: Pg-13 for some language and violence
Summary: Normalverse AU. The boys have graduated and are working as L and Light, world's greatest detectives. L, much to Light's chagrin, has decided to take a case in a tiny little town in Kansas with a serious serial killer problem. This is the first in what is hopefully a series of one-shots about the various cases they take on in this universe.
Author's Note: I apologize to people living in Kansas. Light's views are not necessarily my own, nor do I think your state is full of serial killers.
( Light was used to city streets and skyscrapers, not, like, amber waves of grain. )

Summary: Set sometime after Kansas. The boys are in Cardiff, and L has something of a (completely irrational) problem with that.

Since my brain is currently being eaten by the Big Pile of Good Omens Crossovers I Need to Write and my Death Note AU (I think I'll refer to it as the Normalverse from here on out), I figured it was a good time to make some icons. YAY ICONS.
Actually, I made the Heroes icons in, like, November, but never got around to posting them which explains why they aren't as good. Oh well?

Author's Note: Light and L may seem a little OOC here, as L is young and inexperienced and Light is neither homicidal nor trying to prove otherwise. Also, this was actually written as a sort of prologue for something I'm still working on right now, so keep your eye out? If you liked this fic, I mean.

Well, as much as I hate the thought of having WIPs in what is essentially my online portfolio, I guess I'll make an exception for this one. It might be nice to have a series going, even if it is only three or so chapters long. In any case, I'm kind of eager for some feedback about the concept itself. So here goes:
Title: The Road to Redemption, Part One: A Very Worrisome Habit
Fandom: Good Omens
Pairing: Crowley/Aziraphale
Rating: PGish
Summary: In which Aziraphale gently calls Crowley's attention to the fact that love is not the Sort of Thing that demons generally do.
Author's note: There seem to be quite a few fics concerning Aziraphale and Falling, but almost none about Crowley's own limitations. I tried to remedy that here. :3 Enjoy?

Title:The Abbey
Fandom: Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet)
Characters/pairings:Tybalt/Mercutio
Rating: R for not-really-at-all-explicit sex, slashy goodness, and dirty jokes (uh, hi, MERCUTIO. I can't help it. XD And of course Tybalt wouldn't let him get away with it).
Summary: CHALLENGE, issued by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) saint_kit. AU fic. Mercutio doesn't die, but everyone thinks he has. The prince, in order to keep his kinsman safe while recovering, sent Mercutio away to an abbey. Romeo and Tybalt's fight is broken up before either can fall victim to the blade and both families know about marriage now. Tybalt, furious his cousin could marry a Montague, decides to track down the friar who wed them, though he has fled. So Tybalt searches the abbeys and monasteries nearby. Who he finds is someone he hadn't quite expected.
Author's note: Gah. I wrote this all in what, two, three days? I didn't want to leave for the summer without having it posted. Most everything I wanted, I managed to fit in, except for the part where Mercutio attempts to compose a sonnet on the spot to make fun of Tybalt for calling him ZOMG! NOT ROMANTIC! (Thy head of red and golden locks/Thy eyes of fiercest green is as far as he gets before Tybalt rightly smacks him for being an idiot) is pretty much the only thing that's missing. I'll use it, somehow. The lines Mercutio recites/repeats are all from act II, scene IV. And if you are wondering why Tybalt is oddly redheaded, I admit I was influenced by something.
If any of the dialogue sounds awkward or off, please tell me! I haven't quite gotten the hang of Elizabethan yet, and I wasn't sure exactly how normal should they sound (IE, should they speak like ordinary men of their social status or like characters of a play, and how much of a difference is that?).
Feedback: Makes me happy inside. :D

These were all for an artist's book assignment. We were told to pick a theme and make something using mixed media that somehow described us. I did an actual book called Do the Evolution. The theme was (shocker!) evolution. All photos are from Getty images. :D

The rest of these were just done either for fun, for a friend, or to experiment with a new tutorial/way of doing things.
