Well... I guess I don't really have any excuse as to why this took so friggin' long except to say I've been having an awesome summer :P

However, I did manage to pull together a fic - just a bit of Gale/Randy RPS that's dedicated to all the amazing folks that have shared their reviews and stories and photos from this summer's Randy-fest. I wish I coulda been there, but reading about it has been the next best thing :) Thanks to everyone!

Hey guys... just wanted to say hello and let folks know I haven't disappeared again :P I really wish I had fic to offer up, but fuck, I'm having the wierdest kind of writer's block where I *want* to write, and I really feel like I *need* to write, but I just can't focus on one story or finish anything.

But I'm not giving up and I honestly do have tons of fics on the go - I've just been having some RL stuff that's keeping my mind occupied, I guess.

Well, I didn't really want to show up here empty-handed, but, I've been back for a couple weeks now and just kind of not doing the computer thing much and thought maybe I should let people know that I'm still around and yeah, still writing.

I admit to feeling pretty melancholy, seeing some people shut down their journals and writing last QAF fics. I understand why they're doing it, but it still makes me sad and I hate that I don't want it to end. That I'm not ready for it to end. I feel like I'm still left dancing at the club long after the lights have come on, if that makes any sense.

But as much as I know that maybe I should be trying to write my own stuff instead of fan fics, I just can't stop the little QAF stories from running around my head. I've loved writing fan fic and I've loved the characters. And I guess I'm not ready to let go yet.

Anyway, my little ramble aside, I have to say *thank you* to everyone who replied to my last post - I really wasn't sure if there would be anyone left once the series was over, but it's so great to see that there are :) As usual, you guys are amazing, and it's because of all of you that I continue to write.

So, stay tuned for new fic very soon. And thanks again for all the encouragement to keep going - what an awesome thing to come home to :)
