Thank you to whoever nominated me for the SGA kink awards! That's very kind of you. And a big thank you to the award organisers - the website looks fantastic and the categories are all very intriguing as well as being good fun. I do hope lots of people take part as there's been some great kink fic in SGA.

I feel I've been most remiss in not posting a link to these before as I do love to support kink-related things, especially as kink can sometimes get a bit of a bad press in fandom.

A brave soul has set up some awards just for SGA Kink which is a wonderful idea. It's so great to celebrate the good kinkiness out there!

Nominations opened quite some time ago and I'm not sure when they close so you might need to dash along there in order to make sure your favourites get nominated. Oops - edited to say that nominations close on the 29th March so definitely not much time!

I'm just reposting this from [info]xanthelj so just ignore it if you've read it already! Slightly edited just to update it - just thought I should really mention it here as this IS my fic LJ *g*.

Someone emailed me to tell me that "Coming Home" had been nominated for those fabulous Stargate Awards. I did actually know this in some dull recess of my brain but had forgotten and as this person sent me a very nice email I feel duly prompted to mention the nomination here (I think Disappointing Yoda was also nominated) and thank whoever nominated me which was really very kind of you and more than I deserve.

Here you go - my first fic in almost a year. Gulp!

Fandom: Doctor Who Author’s Notes: This is my first Doctor/Master story and I really enjoyed writing it. I’ve made up some Time Lord/Gallifrey stuff because it’s where I wanted to go in the story but it might not be consistent with some of the earlier canon or what we know of Time Lord physiology/society. My apologies if I got anything glaringly wrong :-).

Pairing: Doctor/Master
Rating: R

Summary: The Master can't decide whether the Doctor should live or die - but the Doctor just wants to settle down and take care of him. How did they reach that point?

I'm so pleased to have won some awards in the recent Titanium Whip BDSM awards. A big thanks to the organisers of the awards. I liked the fact that a) these were for BDSM stories - the first online fandom awards I've heard of to recognise BDSM in its own right. And b) they were voted for by a panel, and all the stories were anonymous - this meant that a variety of stories, across many different fandoms were recognised. It must have been hard work for the judging panel but well worth the effort.

I was particularly thrilled with the "best spanking scene" award *ggg*. Why not try and guess which spanking scene out of all the spanking scenes in all the stories I've written won that one...

I've also updated my site at www.xanthe.org with parts 5 and 6 of the ongoing Chinese translation of this story, kindly provided by Izum.

For anyone who is interested, I've just updated my site with a German translation of "General and Doctor Sheppard", kindly provided by the amazingly dedicated Manuela, who has also just finished translating all *26* chapters of my X Files Mulder/Skinner epic, "24/7", into German as well. Someone give that girl a stiff drink! Seriously, she's done a terrific job and I'm full of admiration for her. Many thanks to those people who nominated my stories for the McShep awards - all my McShep fics were nominated which is very kind of you and much appreciated. I'm in some fantastic company - lots of my personal favourites by some wonderful authors, artists and vidders were also nominated.

I was particularly chuffed that both "Coming Home" and "General & Doctor Sheppard" were nominated after all the recent hoo-hah - thanks for that.

Voting started a few days ago and runs until December 21st I think.
