TWO UPDATES?!?! What in the world is happening. [13 Oct 2008|10:25am]
[ music | Modest Mouse - Ocean Breathes Salty ]

I'm avoiding studying for today's Japanese midterm, that is what in the world is happening. XD School's a biotch. I had less homework this last week/weekend than usual, but I am still doing it. I guess that's what I get for having a lazy weekend. Just flopping around and walking around with Alan, being highly unproductive, ahaha. And seeing RAT BRAIN SLIDES!! in his lab, ooooh. And looking at said rat brain slides under....um...well the brains were stained with....fluorescent stuff....lol. And then there is a big microscope that shines different colors of light through the slide and depending on the color of the....dye??? that was used, and parts of the brain samples are all glowy fluorescent. Which....shows which part of the brain did...stuff..?! Lol I forget the details, even though I'm sure Alan has told me about it multiple times, I'm fucking stupid. XDDDD

MARBLE MAZE MARBLE MAZE I WANT A FUCKING MARBLE MAZE. I am currently stalking multiple eBay auctions for one of these puppehs, I hope am successful with my sniping. -3-

Alan felt kind of sick and feverish yesterday, his forehead was burning. I hope he's okay, I would be super sad-face if he got sick. ;___; Who would I constantly follow around and bother without feeling too bad about doing so?! I feel bad pestering Kristin or Nicole (suitemates), but Alan, well....he knew what he was getting into, so he has to deal with me. >3< TEH-HEH. Also, if he got sick, that would pretty much mean I will get sick as well. Despite my amazing IMMUNE SYSTEM OF STEEEEEEEL!!! Hahah.

I probably weakened his immune system by making him tired and sleep-deprived because I make him stay up late with me and am constantly REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING and whiny, which I am sure is highly energy-sapping to deal with. I'm really such a huge whiner! Like yesterday, we were exploring walkways and stuff by the new building where we ate lunch, and there was just a constant stream of bitching and moaning issuing from my mouth. Like "IT'S HOT LIKE THE DEVIL IN HERE they need to turn the fucking heaters down, oh but now it's cold, goddammit I'm tired slow down, where are you going I don't want to walk up stairs, ow you are squeezing me too hard, ohnoes you are holding my hand the wrong way, WAHHHHHHHH." I'm surprised people don't bitch-slap me daily. And I'm extra surprised that there is somebody who spends so much time every day with me, and does not only not slap me, but even seems to enjoy my company. HOW HE DO THAT?! Haha, I really don't know, but I'm glad he does. <3

But it's not just that I'm whiny and annoying that's so bad about me, it's that I am CONSTANTLY TALKING (in a whiny and annoying manner). My family and good friends will always be tuning me out, because I just do not stop talking. Even I will sometimes tune myself out while I'm talking! Like, I'll put my mouth on auto-pilot, and my mind will wander. Then sometimes I will come back to, and suddenly realize: holy fucking shit, was I talking that entire time??

I know I talk so much (like I am right now, lol!), and I realize how annoying it is, but for some reason I can't help but feel kind of bad when I notice that whoever I'm talking to is not paying attention at all to what I am saying. Even more so when people will actually straight up say to me "I stopped listening a few minutes ago." I mean....I really don't blame them for doing so, but I'm always a little like "oh....." and feel really fucking dumb. And it certainly doesn't help me in trying to deal with my immense lack of confidence in my social skills. Get this - I'm not even annoyingly talkative but charmingly outgoing and with good social skills, I'm annoyingly talkative yet somehow totally socially fucking awkward. HOW UNFAIR IS THAT.

I always say to myself "Kaori! You need to talk less! Be like your brother: talk in moderation, so that when you do talk, people will actually listen!" but, inevitably, within a few minutes my mouth will be off chattering away again. Granted, if I do actually temporarily manage to shut my mouth, everybody automatically assumes I'm super depressed or some shit. >__> But still, it would be of benefit to myself and others to limit the logorrhea which neverendingly spews forth from my pie-hole. I should probably stop talking so damn much. I doubt I am capable of not talking so damn much.

Goddamn this post was a shitload of emo-times self-pity, wasn't it?! I think I'm becoming delirious due to my possible-approaching sickness. :p I suppose I should study, wahhhh..... *whine whine*

Lalalala only one more midterm! [12 Oct 2008|12:00am]
I have never studied as much in my life as I did for my OChem midterm. Like, literally....I studied at least ten times as much for that exam as for any other. Because I studied for hours and hours and usually I study about....one hour, if that. D: I'm pretty sure I got an A though. And I got 100% on my physics test, and 98% on my ChemE test, so that's good. And bio was a 94%, and BE doesn't have any exams. Only Japanese is left, yay!

Uhh so I wanted to have a lighter course load for next semester, because I have been dying this semester. At the very least I wanted to not go over a full credit-load - as in, WSU only allows a max of 18 credits per semester to be covered by regular tuition, so if you take more than 18 you have to pay extra money for every extra credit you take. My three semester here so far have been 17, 19, and 19 credits. So I went about formulating my schedule for next semester, and GUESS FUCKING WHAT. I am pretty sure I have to take 19 credits again. T_______T Or, at the very least, 18, since one credit is a just-for-fun astronomy class I want to take with Alan where you look at the sky at night and stuff. WHICH SOUNDS SUPER COOL SO I WANT TO TAKE IT. But 19, ughhhh. We'll see how it goes, ahahaha.....

Oh, so yesterday my parents came to Pullman because today I had an honors society induction ceremony thing, and they met Alan. XD Then we all ate dinner together at a restaurant called Tokyo Seoul (Japanese and Korean food, as you can probably figure). Surprisingly, my dad was nice! LOL. And I had been teaching Alan for the past week or so how to do a self-introduction in Japanese, so he did it for my mom and she was quite amused, ehehe.

UMMMMM THE FUCKING SUITE NEXT DOOR TO MINE IS FUCKING LOUD AND PROBABLY DRUNK AND I SWEAR I AM GOING TO KICK THEIR GODDAMN ASSES FOR FUCKING REAL DUDE. Shit.

Omfg I finally have free time wtf. [03 Oct 2008|10:10am]
[ mood | TfuckingGIF, for real dude. ]
[ music | Olivia - Lettuce Garden ]

FOR REAL my entire life is spent in class, doing homework, eating meals, showering or sleeping. Literally. But not today! Although I really need to take advantage of this time and study for all my classes but....meh. I'm making flashcards for OChem though. OCHEM MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH PEOPLE IN THE FACE. For serious, dude. I even wrote at the top of one of my page of notes, "OCHEM IS AN ASSHOLE." It is indeed quite the a-hole. Therefore, it is mind-boggling to me that Alan enjoys it and thinks it is fun. Although that's good for me, because I now have a personal OChem tutor. X3 Speaking of Alan and him being a nerd, he is a huge nerd. >3< So there have been two times that he has gasped very seriously and loudly due to excitement, and the two occasions on which he did so were when I mentioned sodium-potassium pumps (for biology class) and when I had to do homework on nomenclature of alkenes for OChem. So um......freaking nerd, dude. XDDDD

Also on a nerd note, yesterday in bio the lecture was on mitosis, and at the end the prof showed a video clip of a cell undergoing mitosis. So we were all watching it with interest, but then when it reached telophase state (where all the chromatids zoom to opposite ends of the spindle), everyone went "ohhhh!!!" in a really excited manner LOLOL. XDDDD And it wasn't an oohing-and aahing-type of "ohhh~! :o", it was a super nerdily giddy type of "ohhHHHH!!!!!! 8DDDD" Hahaha I love science/engineering majors. We so geeky.

Oh, did I ever mention that my roommate moved in? Wait...did I ever mention that my roommate was not here for the first month of school...? Well. It's true. She's in her final semester for elementary education, so she spent the first month of the semester student teaching in her hometown school district, and she just came about a week ago to actually start classes. Her name's Megan, she's pretty nice. Rather talkative though....which, I know, is like the pot calling the kettle black, but...yes. And since she's usually telling me her personal problems, I feel super-rude if I try to continue what I was doing. And since we don't really know each other and are still in the friendship-building stage, I probably shouldn't be rude to her. But like....I gots lots of homework, man. And it's awkward to me that someone I barely know is telling me all about their personal and relationship problems....lol. Oh well, whatevs. At least she makes no noise when she sleeps, YESSS. Because I pretty much need it to be dead silent in order to fall asleep. Which sucks on nights I have to go to bed early because the suite next to mine is as loud as FUCK and they always stay up really late, apparently. Goddamn bitch-ass hos. :<

WHAT ELSE. Oh, um. Wait. I have no idea what I was going to say. Physics exam? I took a physics exam this morning that was as easy as a cheap whore who needs to pay some bills, lolol. That said, I'm sure I missed at least a few points due to dumb mistakes, as always. T___T Well, anyway...bye!

P.S. I have not forgotten my promises of various photos/photospams! It's just that, at this juncture, my entire soul is being unmercifully consumed by school. Laaaaame.

This entry is late like WHAT now. [20 Sep 2008|06:03pm]
[ mood | weekend omfgYES ]
[ music | Eisley - I Could Be There For You ]

Last weekend Alan was dogsitting (Alan dogsat? That sounds really weird...) for a lady who works in his lab, so he had to be at their house all weekend and all my other friends were gone/I like Alan so I spent most of my weekend at the house as well. :) WE COOKED SO MUCH DELICIOUS FOOD. T___T On Friday we made chicken parmesan and chocolate cheesecake, Saturday was Spanish rice and sandwiches and nachos, and on Sunday we made sausage-and-eggs savory crepes and fruit-and-Nutella sweet crepes for breakfast/lunch and then ordered a garlic sauce and chicken pizza. -3- And there's probably more that I'm forgetting, lol. FOOOOOOOOOD.

What else...hm. Not much, really. Just that my entire life is consumed by class and homework. I don't know, 19 credits 7 courses 1 lab wasn't that bad last semester, but 19 credits 6 courses 3 labs this semester is kind of killing my soul. Perhaps because ChemE homework takes fucking forever. And because our Japanese prof gives us difficult stuff to read/do homework on.

In additional academic news, OChem makes me die on the inside. Despite this fact, I still sometimes insist on making nerdy references to the subject. Case in point:

*leaving OChem lecture, Emily is going to class and I am returning to Honor Hall*
Emily: "Well I need to go to Thompson, so I'm going to the right."
Kaori: "Yeah, I'm going back to my room, so I'm going left. Oh, wait....I could be a creeper and keep going to the right so I can follow you..."
Emily: "Ew. Don't."
Kaori: "I WILL. I gots to, I can't pass up an opportunity to be a creeper. To incorporate what I just learned in lecture to this situation, being a creeper is my most stable form."
Emily: "Oh geez..."
Kaori: "You see, when I am in a state of not being a creeper, I am highly unstable, as though I am a Lewis acid on one end and a Lewis base on the other end, to which I am like "fuck that shit!" and change into my more stable creeper configuration."
Emily: "...."
Kaori: "Me trying not to be a creeper is like me being a bromonium ion, so I'm all DAMN I got to get me a bromide ion all up in here, aka act like a creeper, in order to become halogenated and form a stable trans-dibromoethane molecule, aka be in my stable creeper form."
Emily: "Yeah, I'm leaving now, bye."
Kaori: "To the contrary, I'd like to be as stable as possible for as long as possible so I'm going to continue creepily following you SORRY DUDE."
Emily: "...I don't like you very much."

Today Alan and I went to see the BEARS. Because there is a grizzly bear unit here at WSU. They are big and beary. Then we went to visit Emily's cat Emily at her apartment, and also see her cat. I really went for the cat though, lol. Jk....maybe. Anyway, it is not actually Emily's cat, but it lives in her apartment. AND IT'S AMAZING. Okay, so last semester when it was still a kitten it looked like a normal cat, but now it looks like AN AWESOME ADORABLE WEASEL-CAT. XDDDD It's all skinny and long and writhy like a weasel/ferret and it's amazing. And, like....its fur is not particularly long and on its body the fur is smooth and flat, but for some reason its tail is super poofy fluffy. The tail is also really really long in comparison to the body. Also it has the smoothest softest freaking fur I have ever felt in my life. I LOVE THAT CAT. Oh also it is a girl and its name is Buttons.

I HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN UPDATING. [09 Sep 2008|12:30am]
[ mood | worn out, son. ]
[ music | Rihanna - Disturbia ]

For real. I have been busy as TITS the past week. I still am. I didn't even get to relax much over the weekend, I just did tons of homework. :(

Oh, lol, since I haven't updated in a week, I guess I haven't said that Alan and I are going out now. :3 My first boyfriend lol yay I'm lame! He is also now my personal OChem tutor, lol. Good thing, because otherwise I would have epically failed at homework for that class so far. -______-

Now for some quotes from before school started.

Dad: "Hey, do you know why policemen ride horses?"
Me: "POOOOP."
Dad: *looks highly ashamed of me*

[This next quote refers to the character Excalibur from Soul Eater. He is fucking ridiculous, it's great. You should all youtube him.]
Me: "BAAAAKAme! Watashi no densetsu wa juuniseiki kara hajimatta."
Mom: *look of disgust*

Me: "My legend began in the 12th century!!"
Dad: "Yeah, 12th century BC."
Me: "...what even does that mean."
Dad: "It means 'before curly fries.'"
Me: ".....ummmm pretty sure it doesn't."

*pulling my rolling suitcase*
Dad: "What was that sound?"
Me: "My suitcase."
Dad: "Oh, I thought you were dragging the laundry basket around again."
Me: "'Again'?? I've never dragged the laundry basket around."
Dad: *scoff* "Well, Kaori, it's just a figure of speech."
Me: "...no. No, it's really not."

UGHHHHHH if I ever have any free time in my LIFE I have multiple photospam entries I want to do. XE

I'm bad at updating when I'm at school and actually have things to do. [02 Sep 2008|11:40pm]
[ music | Dr. Horrible + Penny - See The Evil Inside of Me ]

Ummmm lesseee. Oh, so my friend Alan and I have actually been going to WSU's giant rec center and working out. Or, for me at least, just jogging on a fancy treadmill for 45 minutes or so. And by jogging I mean intermittent jogging and walking, emphasis on the walking.....lol. When you exercise daily with someone else, it makes you more motivated to actually go. Especially when the person you go with actually wants to go to the gym, ahaha. Conversations in the evening often go like this: "Kaori, want to go to the gym at 7?" "Nnnnnnnnnnnn gymmmmmmm but I'm tired and laaaaaaazy." "......" "Fiiiine, I'll go. -3-" Lolol.

In other news, my brother got accepted as a naval officer! He first started doing the work to apply around.....over a year ago, I think? But he had to lose weight and get physicals and do stuff about the fact that my mom is not a US citizen and get letters and whatnot, but it finally all got evaluated and he made it! SASUGA NI though, srsly, he's smart and has a degree and so if they didn't accept him that would be ridonculous. But yeah, he still doesn't actually know where/when he's going to go...do....whatever he's going to do. Apparently he's going to be given various offers and he can choose which one he wants to accept. In the meantime he is quitting his part-time job and "resuming bankai training" ahahaha. AKA he's going to make working out his job so he can get super in-shape.

In tennis news, OMFG Nishikori Kei is my hero. He's freaking only 18 years old but, in his second-ever 5-set match, he beat David Ferrer, who is the #4 player in the world. o____o HOLY CRAP, SON!!! He's freaking, like, six months younger than me, wtf, how is he so good at tennis? Apparently he's the first Japanese player in 71 years to reach the Round of 16 at the US Open, damn.

Ahahahaha okay so my parents came up to visit for a day over Labor Day weekend. But my dad is a BK and....he got a $100 ticket for parking in a fire zone. -3- GROOD job, dad.

Also over the weekend, Alan and I went camping. We were planning on camping at Wallowa Lake, which is about two and a half hours from Pullman, but.....it was really crowded with tourists, and what few camping spots they had open were....totally NOT real campsites. Like, ten feet away from your neighbor, huge RVs everywhere, not even very many trees...fuck that, yo. I may not particularly enjoy the outdoors, but I know what REAL outdoors is, I don't half-ass that shit. So I suggested going to the campsite my family always went to, which was another...two or so hours away. The thing is, all this time we had been driving in a car borrowed from our friend, who requested that we not drive more than an hour or so away. OOOOOOOOPS. Oh well, the car made it back just fine, not to mention cleaner and more full of gas than when we left. Anyway, it was a good trip. No mosquito bites! :D

OMFG YOU GUYS have any of you seen Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog? It's fucking amazing. And this is coming from someone who pretty much hates musicals. It's hilarious, and the music is freaking awesome. Before I was even done watching it, I was searching on the internet for rips of the songs. (Which I found, btw.) Anyway, if you haven't seen it....you should. :P (Bonus: One of the guys from Big Bang Theory is in it! 8D *nerd face*)

LOL SHITTY-ASS I KNOW RIGHT. It messes up my life to sleep in every other day, and accordingly stay up late the previous night. Because, like....I alternate between looong days when I wake up at 7:30am but don't go to sleep until at least 1:30am and short-times days where I wake up at 11:30am and go to bed by 12:30am. :/ Wtf.

What of interest has happened since my last entry? Besides that brief interlude where I bitched about WSU's shoddy internet. It's still acting up on me, too. IT IS RUBBISH I SAY, RUBBISH. Hmmm.....OH MY GOD so I watched the first five or so eps of the new season of Project Runway and I CANNOT EVEN BELIEVE THAT APOLO ANTON OHNO WAS ON IT OMFG I love him and his sexiness so much. Imho, he is a hottie.

Oh, so on the night before the last day I was actually at my home, I semi-jokingly asked my brother if he was going to treat me to a last-day-before-school lunch. And he said he would, yeah! Then I asked where we would eat, expecting something like Taco Bell or maybe Aloha Sushi if he was feeling generous. But instead, he suggested....SAFFRON!! Which is this fancy little restaurant run by the people who also run a tasty pho joint next door called Pho Sho. Anyway ummmm I was super excited because my family is cheap so the most expensive place I ever eat at is, like....Olive Garden. And when we do go there, they bitch about "small portions" (wtf?! They are dumb, they always order the ONLY thing in the place that is NOT a huge-ass plate full.) and it being "expensive," pshahhhhhh.

Anyway, Saffron was DELIIIIIICIOUS. Like, the best food I've ever had. We went during lunch so they were only serving dishes on the left side of the menu. Since they are mostly appetizer-type things, we he splurged and ordered us four dishes: Patatas Bravas, Clams, Kobe Beef Cheeks, and Gozleme. The patatas bravas were, like, fancy jojos in a tatsy tasty sauce. Which is fucking amazing because potatos are the shit. The clams were very very good, I heart clams quite a bit. The sauce the clams were in was liquidy and abundant, so the waitress brought us grilled pita slices to soak it up with. WHICH WAS SOOOOO GOOD. The kobe beef cheeks, they were probably my least favorite of the four dishes, but they were still sooooo good. It was like...really fancy extra delicious beef stew/pot roast. It was excellent enough to make eggplants (which it had in it, and which I usually hate) taste super good. Then the gozleme, hot damn. My brother and I like to describe it as a "fancy Gordita" (as in from Taco Bell). It's lamb and some greens rolled up in flatbread with yogurt sauce, and it is taaasty as hell, omg.

That meal, which was amazingly tastylicious and filling, cost.....um, $40, and after adding tax and tip I think it ended up costing him about $50. THAAAANKS MIMI I RABU YOUUUU! (~-3-)~ And then afterwards, since we only had water to drink at the restaurant, he bought me a yummy-nummy White Chocolate Frappe from Hastings. :D GO FOOD!

PRUNELLA CAME TODAY YES YES YESSSSS. She's fucking gorgeous. And she has the most amazing stock ever. Like, her skirt is outrageous. The actual skirt is the material layer with a tulle layer over it and another tulle layer underneath. Then her petticoat is four layers of tulle, the outer one with tulle frills at the bottom for extra volume. Then she has another petticoat, a mini one with one layer. Also also, her little bag has chains and it actually zips open, and her little choker has chains too, and so does her badass belt! And her shirt and hoodie are all frilly and awesome too. I WISH I COULD HAVE PURCHASED THE HUMAN SIZE VERSION OF HER OUTFIT that h.Naoto Frill manufactured...it's fucking amazing. Anyway...I'll post some pictures of Pruny later for sure. X3

OMFG cat in a bonnet is the CUTEST FUCKING THING EVERRRRRR. I was looking at my kitty and decided I really wanted her to have a bonnet. And then I remembered HEY!! I have Ai's stock bonnet! Pullips have huge heads, it will probably fit a cat! And lo and behold IT DID. And it was adorable. I also put Prunella's hat on her, and it was freaking hilarious.

Um, so, I changed my profile picture on Facebook and MySpace to the following set of four webcam-camwhore-with-glasses photos (a less gross different set than before). And apparently, according to Ashley, in the bottom right picture I look like a "porno librarian" LOLOLOL. Good to know.

Also glasses-related! My brother, after seeing me with glasses, said I reminded him of "Nanao-chan" aka Ise Nanao from Bleach. So I made this comparison picture, just for giggles. I should have had my shoulders down, but the position of my computer did not accomodate for that. All in all, though, is it a match?!?! Maybe if I had darker hair, lighter skin, a smaller forehead and was less of a fatty, ahahaha.

Hahaha, today when I was waiting to pay my tab at a restaurant, a little old lady tapped me shoulder and was like "I just wanted to tell you that your hair is so beautiful." >w< THANKS LITTLE OLD LADY I LOVE YOU. Take that, mean mother who wants me to cut my hair. And everyone else who thinks I should cut my hair. >___< SUCK IIIIIIIT!!

Did you know that people get embarassed when you are with them in public and you suddenly throw your arm up in the air and yell "Thunder! Thunder!!! THUNDER!!! THUNDERCATS!!!!!! HO-OHHHHHHHHHH~~~!!!" Because it turns out they do, ahaha. I <3 Thundercats.

MAH KITTY'S SCAIRT 'A TH' VAC-YUM CLEANIN' MASHEEN.

Dammit, this skirt I'm trying to make is the most simple fucking skirt ever, but it is taking forever and a goddamn half. X< Mostly because we don't have a working sewing machine, so I have to do everything by freaking hand. And since I don't sew that often, I am not very adept at hand-stitching. And also I keep stabbing myself, fracker. It's pretty effing awesome because my stitching is really shoddy, ahaha. This skirt better turn out to be wearable or I am going to flip a fucking bitch. :x

YAYAYAY my glasses came in!! I look so freaking nerdy in them, it's amazing. I think, by acquiring spectacles, I have earned +10 to my nerd scored, lol! Which makes my score, like.....1,000,000,000,000....and ten. >3< Too lazy to take good quality photos on my digicam and upload them, so instead I used my webcam. '3' Also too lazy to change out of my super huge t-shirt aka my jammies. -v-

I'm glad I only have to wear them when I feel like it, because they make everything look wonky and, like...extra 3D. And it messes me up.

And also YAYAYAY I finally ordered Prunella!! It wasn't even like I was waffling around on whether or not to buy her...because I decided over a month ago that I'd definitely get her. I've just been waffling on when to order her, lol. Proof that I was absolutely determined to get her: I already gave her a name weeks ago. XD She will be Sidney. And maybe she will have Kimiko as her Japanese name. It's funny because all three of my dolls have long straight hair with bangs, and their names are Audrey, Linlee, and Sidney, which are somewhat similar-sounding. TRIPLETS?!?! Anyway...she should be here by Tuesday!! :D Pictures will come. Here is a comparison pic of their stock photos though:

They have a nice array of colors when wearing their stock outfits! And a nice array of eyecolors: green, blue, brown. :3

Speaking of pictures coming, I haven't forgotten about doing a Hippie Festival Country Fair photopost! I am just a bit lazy, mehehe. It will be soon. (~-3-)~

You know those V8 commercials where people who are not eating vegetables get bonked in the forehead? When I see them, I get all tensed up with an unreasonably excessive amount of rage annoyance. Because I am pretty sure I would literally go ballistic if I got HIT IN THE FACE just because I didn't feel like eating fucking vegetables. It would happen a lot to me, too, because I am a small petulant child who still insists on meticulously and tediously picking out chopped up vegetables from stir-fry, yakisoba, etc etc, and sometimes pulls the crusts off of bread because I am a spoiled brat. ....Aren't I just the most charming person?? Pink, purchases, loli, and MY EYES!!?!??! [12 Aug 2008|08:31pm]
[ mood | woooomakingaloliskirt ]
[ music | Journey - Don't Stop Believing ]

I'm pink-pink-pinking up my life, yeah yeah!! My dorm room this year is going to be an EXPLOSION of pink, tralalalala. I got pink sheets for my bed, a bunch of pink pillows, a pink and white lamp, a big pink retro-looking alarm clock, a small pink modern-looking alarm clock, a pink laundry hamper, I even have a pink surge protector! XD Because Wal-Mart is awesome and has random shit like surge protectors in pink. THANKS W-MART.

Speaking of pink, look at these totally gay sneakers I got while I was in Spokane!! XD They were only 15 bucks, so I went for it. 'w' Also, some Hot Topic purchases I have made recently include piano key tank top, Hello Kitty thermal, Bloo thermal, and the Hello Kitty hoodie which I had seen many times before and intended to NOT buy, but I finally gave into the total, total gayness that is the back of the sweater. >w< "Sprinkle me with love," SERIOUSLY?!?! And HK riding a horsey-thing in front of a pastel rainbow with hearts sprinkling down, all on a pink background?! HOW QUEER CAN YOU GET, HELLO KITTY APPAREL DESIGNERS?!?! XDDDDD Seriously, I don't think I could make a gayer sweater if I tried. AND THAT'S HOW I LIKE IT. :D

x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x

Looking around [info]daily_lolita has made me want to get all lolified. ;3; However, I am too much of a total cheap-ass poor to buy burando. Actually, I technically have the money, it's just that the thought of spending 150+ bucks on a piece of clothing hurts my heart. Like, literally, it makes me hurt inside. Especially since, on any given day, my ENTIRE outfit including all accessories never reaches a cost total of more than, like....50 bucks, tops. Usually more around $25. (Speaking of, I should start doing a daily outfit photo thing, but rather than with the aim of "look at my cool coordinates and stylishness!" I will instead do it with the purpose of "look how much of a cheap-ass I am when I break down the cost of my outfit!" XDDD I SHOULD Y/N??)

Anyways, being totally rori is also somewhat impractical, especially in normalton-town Pullman, so instead I've decided just to buy loli-ish and loli-able clothings, and make alterations and perhaps attempt some sewing projects. For example, I bought a pale pink cropped hoodie at Ross recently, and I added lace trim around the hood and pockets. It looks pretty cute! Also, I am currently trying my hand a making a cute loli-style skirt. I...have no real sewing experience to speak of, nor do I have any patterns, but I am relying on my semi-OCD/hardcore-perfectionism, in tandem with my basic sewing skills/knowledge, in order to come out with an end product that looks decent. Also, if all goes as planned, the skirt will be....reversible. :DDDD TWO-FO'-ONE, BEBEHHHH!!!

But man....I would freaking kill for anything Mary Magdalene, Victorian Maiden or Juliette et Justine, which are my three favorite loli brands (in that order). Classic lolita style, I rabu you~~! (Btw, the official sites of those brands, for anyone who cares, are: MM, VM, and JetJ. *w*)

So I went for an eye exam this morning. >___> My dad scheduled the appointment for me after I mentioned how things I could read from far away with my left eye were kind of blurry with my right. I was super nervous that I'd have to get glasses/contacts, haha. Contacts because I absolutely CAN'T deal with things near my eye, and glasses because I look really dorky in all glasses.

Well, after enduring confusing eye tests and puffs of air to the eyeball (which is HIGHLY unpleasant), the optometrist informed me that I would benefit from glasses to wear occasionally when my eyes are strained, like in lecture and such. Apparently I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye, and then my right eye needs a higher prescription because it has worse vision. But um, pretty much my eyesight is fine. Basically, the level of need I have for glasses is analogous to that of sunglasses: I never actually need them, per say, but there are definitely times when it is convenient and easier on my eyes to have them. However, whether or not I wear them will have no permanent effect on my vision, so I could never wear them and have my eyesight stay the same, or I could always wear them with the same outcome. Pretty much, I can wear them whenever I feel like I need them, but I never really have to wear them. Which I am fine with because.....rather than losing any freedom (of not ever needing eyewear), it's more like I'm gaining an accessory. -3-

These are the frames I decided on! Very slightly cat-eye shaped, with maroonish and pinkish (cough, I mean "eggplant" and "plum") wire rims that do not go around the bottom half of the lenses. Oh, and I was not exaggerating earlier when I said that I look dorky in all glasses. Because, even thought the glasses I got looked better on me than all the others I tried, I still....look like an uber-nerd. XDDDDD Once they come in I will take a picture with them on, and you will all see my amazing geekitude. X3 Oh, and I already bought an awesome pink (mochiron!) glasses case with a retarded-looking cute cat drawing on it. :D THANKS AGAIN WAL-MART, I OWE YOU ONE.

YAYAYAY Rafael Nadal is the new number one men's tennis player in the world!!! :D :D :D :D You've been #1 for too long Federer, it's time for someone else to take the top rank, whahahahaha! Well, technically Rafa will be ranked number one, like....next week or something, but whatever. He's for sure the new numbahhhhh one~~~! Oh Rafa I so proud of you. ;_______;

Bonus pic! Rafa is always pretty adorable, but he is a super cutie when he's having dorky fun riding a Segway. >3<

So I bought a box of Just Bunches, OF COURSE. With a dollar-off coupon, yeah! Anyway. IT'S FUCKING DELICIOUS. It makes my jaw really tired though, because granola requires lots of chewing. BUT IT'S WORTH IT.

Oh, so on Friday I had adventures at Silverwood! Which is, like...the best freaking place ever. An amusement park AND a water park?! COUNT ME IN, BITCHES!!! I went with my brother and invited along my friend Ashley, it was quite fun.

Silverwood is the SHIT! )

Next day we went to the mall in Spokane, and I bought a bunch of shit (including a corset-y tube top for only 75 cents! THANKS DEB.). And I just went last Wednesday to the mall in the Tri-Cities and bought a bunch of shit there as well, lol. Oh well, once I'm in Pullman for school there will not be shopping to be had. Because there is jack shit in Pullman, ahaha. Anyway, then we went to this little Korean restaurant connected to a little Asian store. I had chicken katsu bibimbap, which was TASTYYYYY, and I got some delicious snacks and such at the store. MOCHI ICE CREAM MMMMMMMMMMM and CALPIS MMMMMMMMM, etc etc.

OH OH OH I love love LOVE Chai Tea Frappuccinos from Starbucks, yummmmmm. It's like....okay. Chai is delicious. Tazo chai is the most delicious. And Tazo chai when it is also FROZEN AND FROTHY is just effing outrageous. <3 I want 482 of them. PER DAY.

It's about fweeekin' time. Screw the overabundance of flakes and shit in the original, I just want the tasty tasty bunches. Now....if they would make Just Bunches with Extra Extra Peaches, I would be MOST HIGHLY pleased. Because Peach Honey Bunches of Oats has, like....two goddamn pieces of peach per box. >___> MOAR PEECH PLZ.

I AM OFFICIALLY THE COOLEST OF ALL BECAUSE I JUST MADE A POST ABOUT CEREAL. Haha, a cereal post about Post cereal. I'M A RIOT. *kneeslap*

Cigs adventure. -_____-;;; (Not for me, don't worry. Ugh.) [03 Aug 2008|08:57pm]
[ music | Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Possess Your Heart [The intro is WAY TOO LONG. -A-] ]

Well, my dear dear friend Megan gave me a call today, and when a phone conversation immediately starts off with "So you know you are my most favorite person in the world, right?" you know something is up. Therefore, being the very kind and not at all blunt person that I am, I succinctly cut in with "What do you want from me." XDDDD Apparently, she really needed cigarettes, but she was in the middle of work, and also totally fucking broke (as usual), so she wanted me to do a SUPER HUGE FAVOR BECAUSE SHE LOVES ME and buy her a pack. Which, well, first of all I'm a small innocent child at heart (lol), so at first I was all like "What the hell Megan, how do you expect me to do that I am not old....enough........wait," at which point I remembered that I am now 19, which is a year above the age necessary to buy cigs. -3- But even after I remembered that I hesitated because I do not condone smoking, especially for people who DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY to partake of the expensive habit, and I didn't really want to help her with her lovely nicotine addiction. But I knew she'd get them anyway, and also she promised me free beverage and cheesy sticks from Papa Murphy's (where she works), so I was like "......okay." Which was then promptly followed by "Wait, so how do I buy cigarettes?" XDDD Because I'm a noob. A non-smoking noob.

Anyways, so Megan told me to just ask for "Marb Regs," which I knew to be Marlboro Regulars only because just a day or two ago I saw her pack and read the brand name/type printed on it. Well, when I went to the cigarette aisle at Wal-Mart...okay, first off, the cashier at said tobacco counter was a little old lady, so when I asked for the cigarettes she gave me a slight "Tsk tsk!" look, which make me want to go "They're not for me, I don't smoke~~!" but I obviously didn't because it is not okay to buy cigs for other people. Anyway, so when I asked, it was probably apparent anyway that I am not a regular smoker because I was like...an awkward person. XD First off, you know how when cops/other official people make inquiries/demands that stem directly from their power as whatever their position is, they'll simultaneously flash their badges/whatever so people will know they have the authority to do whatever they're doing? Well, I'm a dork, so...I pretty much did that. I was like "I'll have a pack of blah blah" while very solemnly holding up my driver's license like it was some SRS BIZNESS lol. Like, it's not even like she can read the birthdate from that distance, and they ask for ID at the appropriate juncture in the transaction anyway, so...it's highly unnecessary for me to have done that. ~(-3-)~

IN ADDITION, I cannot even say words correctly. Like...I felt weird asking for the cigs using such a slangy name as Marb Regs, so I decided to actually call them by their full name. But....I CANNOT FUCKING PRONOUNCE THE WORD MARLBORO. -A- Also, since the nickname is "Marb" I though the full name would actually start off with the letters M-A-R-B, but NOOOOOOOOO there's a fuckin' L in there! And R-L-B is not even a pronounceable series of letters. So when I ended up actually asking for the cigarettes, it went a little something like this:

Cashier: *rings up gum* "Will that be all for you?"
Me: "Oh," *serious face* "I'd also like--" *FLASH BADGE ID* "--a pack of......" *squints intensely at cigarette case* "...uh..." *look of consternation* "...MARRRRRRRRBROW!??? R-re....reds. REGS."
Cashier: "....regulars?"
Me: "Y-....yes. That one."

XDDDDDD LOLOLOL. It was super awkward. But anyway, everything was fine and I gave Megan her blasted cigarettes and I got tasty awards. BUT SHE STILL GUNNA PAY ME BACK. -c- Oh oh ohhhh, also, the gum I got....was Orbit Limited Edition Positively Pomegranate!!! Which caught my eye because of the LOVELY packaging and fully convinced me to purchase because of the delicious sounding flavor. (I am a sucker for anything pomegranate. I love those fuckers. And by "those fuckers," I mean pomegranates...) LOOKIT.

It's better irl because it's all pearly and I heart it. I LOVE GOOD PACKAGING. Like SoyJoy bars, they have EXCELLENT packaging. Excellent enough, I believe, to trick me into thinking the bars themselves are similarly excellent, even though they are actually dry and mealy and unpleasant. But instead, I LOVE THEM THEY ARE TASTY AS HELL.

YAYAYAY! Also, I totally did not know that they are from Japan. They seem to smack of crazy American health-food crazies, so I was not expecting that. Although...Japan does have some gross health stuff, like those CalorieMate bar things. IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF OTSUKA PHARMACEUTICALS. Hahaha I do not even care, what the hell. Actually I want to try those bars (in chocolate?! or fruit, b/c the other flavors sound sick) to see if they are actually nasty. Knowing me, I'd probably like them, for I am the Emperor (??!) of Hating Normal Delicious Foods But Enjoying Gross Foods. Like "Ewwww Reese's and peanut butter and chocolate-chip cookies are not at all tasty! But I would like a SoyJoy bar and meal replacement shake and fermented soybeans, please." -w- Woop.

Fatcatbatcat, brothercan'tsing, IlikeAnemone, somequotesquotes. [27 Jul 2008|11:57pm]
[ mood | WUZZOW!! ]
[ music | The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop ]

In addition to Sweet Jelly, my cat has yet another nickname, and that is.....Fat Cat Batcat. XDDDD The reason for this nickname is...well, she was sitting at the top of the stairs, and she was backlit and weird shaped, which lead my brother to decide that she looked like Batman. But she is a fat cat who looked like Batman, so he called her Fat Cat Batman. But I pointed out that she is, in fact, not a man, but a cat, so the name got revised to Fat Cat Batcat. Here is the scene that brought about this moniker.

Nananananananana nananananananana FAT CAT~~~~! BATCAT~~~~!

So my brother got Rock Band (minus the drum set...because he let his friend keep it >___>) and it is pretty fun. The great thing is that even shitty singers can do well on the singing, hahaha. This game has made me realize that my brother cannot sing. And not just, like "oh he can't sing, he's so bad," but cannot sing as in....is not capable of singing. Is physically unable to sing. Like...you know how - the difference between talking and singing - you can hear it, and it just feels different on your vocal chords? Well, my brother doesn't know, because rather than singing, he just....talks melodically. XDDDD It's really weird. He doesn't understand how to "sing" and it baffles me. -3-

Oh um a while ago I read all of the Eureka Seven manga, because, after glancing through it, I decided it seemed interesting enough to actually read through. The reason I was glancing through it in the first place is....because I saw/read about how Anemone is awesome and crazy and AWESOME, and that peaked my interest. What did not peak my interest is how I really do not like Eureka, lol. Although I dislike her less when she stops wearing her hair clipped back, lol. Anyway, um, it was good but....okay, so I haven't actually seen the anime, but I have a pretty good idea of where it differs from the manga, at least in terms of the ending. And....BOOOOOO AT THE MANGA ENDING. D: I suppose it's, like...technically better, as in more creative and not as hackneyed, but.....I WANT THE CHEESY UBER-HAPPY ENDING LIKE THE ANIME. ;_______; Dangit. I think I still want to buy all the manga volumes though. There's only, like, six.

That's not what Anemone actually said in that frame. BUT IT SHOULD BE.

[Observing somebody's really shoddy parking job in the space next to my car.]
Me: "Is it really that hard to park?"
Michael: "It is if you're a douchebag."

Michael: "The trick is to don't breathe."
(I do not even remember the context of this. But even if there was a reasonable context, it would not excuse his terrible grammar. :<)

Me: "Look at Twixy, she's so fat!!"
Michael: "She's probably pooping."
(Um...pretty sure she's not. What does that even mean??)

When was my last entry again...? [23 Jul 2008|11:03pm]
[ mood | I want a fucking hot tap. ]
[ music | Spiral Beach - Voodoo ]

Oh right, on my birthday. Speaking of, apparently Ashleigh and her parents are the only people who love me. :( Because, besides the stuff they got me, I have only received ONE other birthday-related item, which is a card from my half-brother. One of my half-brothers, because it appears the other one, and also my half-sister, still cannot figure out when my birthday is. They've had nineteen years to figure it out, good lord. Later this week, or maybe next week, I might make a few friends come to my house and have a small shoddy birthday shindig. MAYBE THEN SOMEBODY WILL REMEMBER MY BIRTHDAY. Since it will be my birthday shingdig. Goddamn.

When I was at Ashleigh's I discovered the deliciousness that is Good Earth Original tea, with lots of honey and some milk mixed in. Mmmmmmmmm. Too bad I don't have a hot tap like Ashleigh does. It's so fucking amazing. I mean....it's like "I want some boiling water! Shall I boil some water? NOOOOOO I'll just use the hot tap, from whence already boiling water is immediately issued upon pressing the lever." Fuck waiting minutes upon MINUTES for water to boil. I want a damn hot tap. Whatever, I'll still go through the HUGE effort of water-boiling to enjoy my tasty tea. But maybe not very often, on account of I don't even like hot beverages very much anyway. IT'S SO WEIRD to DRINK something thats freaking HOT. I mean, what the hell, it's hot but I'm drinking it and it is not even soup, that is messed up. Does anybody else think that hot drinks are really weird and not particularly enjoyable?? I'd even go as far as to say drinking hot liquids is downright unpleasant.

Oh, before I left Ashleigh's, we watched a few more movies. After this batch of movies, I came to realize that her family consistently rents some pretty bad movies. Like, Vantage Point and The Ruins, right? Those are pretty bad. Even though I thought they were okay, they were, technically, pretty bad movies. Rotten Tomatoes ratings of 37 and 47 percent, respectively. Well, they later rented....Charlie Bartlett, and......DRILLBIT TAYLOR WTF. Lol. RT ratings 55 and 26 percent. TWENTY-SIX, my god. That said, they were both pretty cute movies. In Charlie Bartlett, the kid who plays the title character is quite adorable. It was a movie that didn't have much substance, but it was pleasant to half-watch. And Drillbit Taylor...also a movie without much substance, quite predictable and whatnot, but okay. The main problem for me was that....it was a movie about the main kids getting bullied, right? So obv you're supposed to sympathize with the children and dislike the bully. But...the bully....was freaking hot. Which made it hard for me to fulfill my duty as the viewer by liking the nerdy loser baby kids and not liking the sexy bully. Because sexy buff guy > dorky little boys. By a lot. Yeah, so...a string of bad-movie rentals, Ash's fam!! Well, they also rented The Bank Job, RT rating 78%, which isn't bad, but....I was sleepy when they put it on and not in the mood to watch a serious crime movie. So I 'putered around instead. -3-

"Do you want chocolate-covered ice cream or...red...covered ice cream....?"
"Red? Like...blood??"
"....Maybe."

Me: "Don't be a smart aleck."
Michael: "I'd rather be a smart aleck than a dumb aleck."

I went to Hasting's today, and although I didn't intend to buy anything, I ended up buying seven volumes of Bleach (because they were used and thus half-price) as well as the Schleich swan figurine pictured above. True story. Not a kitty or tiger or other cat-related figurine, but a swan. Even though I hate birds, and swans are especially huge assholes. So why the swan? Because it totally reminded me of the Hot Fuzz swan (mostly due to its awesome pose), which made me laugh a lot. Because the Hot Fuzz swan is totally amazing. And now I have a Hot Fuzz swan on my dresser. :3 Good times wasting money on random purchases. Good times indeed. SWAN!!!

Ughhh I still want to the that Wanted entry, and I also need to do Country Fair, as well as birthday + cake entry and maybe even miscellaneous Eugene photos entry, but....I am suck a lazy ass mother-fracker. Freaking A.

Birthday adventures. [18 Jul 2008|11:56pm]
[ mood | I'm old ]
[ music | Ikimono Gakari - Blue Bird ]

Ashleigh: "They have big pirate ships, and other sea animals too!"
Me: "Other sea animals....?"
Ashleigh: "....shut up."

So today was my birthday! I woke up quite late - around 1pm - then I had a DEEEEElicious pulled pork sandwich and some amazing white chocolate blueberry bars, om nom nom. Except I woke up with my intermittent temporary case of lockjaw in FULL ACTIVATION MODE. So I had to smash my sammich down and sidle it between my teeth, ahahaha. My jaw ended up not popping back out until about 4, which is crazy because, before today, I have never had lockjaw past about 1 or 2 in the afternoon. It is a morning malady of mine, hah. I guess my jaw usually gets like that after sleeping on it or something. Oh, also, I don't get lockjaw because I have something terribly wrong with me or anything. It's just that the piece of cartilage from the left hinge of my jaw is....not where it should be, and is instead floating around the joint. Sometimes, though, it gets stuck back into the hinge and...prevents me from opening my mouth very far. Usually I can just shift my jaw about a centimeter to the right and it pops back, but sometimes I just have to wait for a while for it to fix itself.

Anywhoo, then Ashleigh and I went to Target (pronounced tar-zhay) and I got...a bunch of Hello Kitty and Domo-kun school supplies and more Barbie clothes for my dollies. Then we went to go see a movie at the dollar theater, lol. YAY DOLLAR THEATER. We contemplated seeing Batman, but that was at the normal priced movie theater and I didn't want to actually pay money for a movie, ahaha. So at the cheap theater we saw Baby Mama, which was pretty good, though not super amazing. It was really cute, though. Quite funny in parts. "BITCH, I don't know your life!!!"

Then we went to the restaurant, which is actually called Shoji's, not Souji's. Anyways, we got there at a dry spell time, so it was just Ashleigh and me seated at one of the tables wrapped around the grill. Our cook, Josh, was totally awesome. He was singing and dancing, making the entire grill burst into huge flames, creating little onion volcanoes, suddenly slamming a metal bowl onto the grill and scaring the shit out of me, and engaging in all sorts of shenanigans. At one point he informed me that, because it was my birthday, as well as my first time at the restaurant, I had to catch a chunk of rice in my mouth that he would fling at me across the table. So, indeed, he got a piece of rice on his spatula, stood back, and tossed it from about eight feet away, right at my face. And guess what??? I TOTALLY CAUGHT IT IN MY MOUTH. Bitch WHUT.

Anyway, when he first found out it was my birthday, he asked how old I was turning, and told him nineteen, and he was like "Really?!" and I was just like "...yeah....?" not sure if he thought that was way too old or young or what. But apparently, according to Shoji cook Josh, I look like I'm "at least 22." o_O For serious? I just do not get why everyone and their mother thinks I am older than I actually am. I should have just been like "Oh. Yes, I'm sorry, I am in fact 22. GIVE ME A BEER." Except ew, yuck, I ain't no alkie. In any case, Josh serenaded me with a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday. Also, because I was the birthday girl, I got to experience the owner's son's special fire juggling routine. Which was badass. But ummmmmm so he used little pepper-shaker shaped wooden things, with one end lit on fire, and...sometimes he caught the FIERY end with his hand. Omfg ouch hot.

OH DAMN though, all of the sudden the Shoji's staff came in the dining room all like "HAAAAPPY BIIIRTHDAAAAY TOOOOO YOOOOUUUUUU~~~!" and the owner lady was holding a cake and OH MAH GAHHHHHHD it was a freaking super amazing Hello Kitty cake!!! It was a really well done Hello Kitty head with pink and black writing around it, with a pink candle right on the middle of the bow and three Hello Kitty rings icing-ed to the tray. SOOOOO GREAT. Oh, also, after he was done cooking Josh wrote HAPPY B-DAY on the grill in salt for me, and even drew an arrow going from the grill and all the way across the table and pointing right at me, hehe. :p

Damn, I'm 19. That's so old. I need to go buy a cane or something, damn. -3-

OM NOM NOM. [17 Jul 2008|09:38pm]
[ music | Pitbull - Move Shake Drop ]

MY BIRFFFFFFDAY IS COMING UP QUICKLYYYYYY. Apparently I am going to stay in Eugene until the 21st, and my birthday is tomorrow, so......birthday in Eugene, bebe. I think Ashleigh's fam is planning to take me to a restaurant called Souji's, which is apparently kind of like a Benihana? They cook stuff in front of you and fling food around, anyway. Is that what a Benihana is like....?! I don't know, I've never been to one. :c In any case, it will be quite excite.

Lol oh man, though...Country Fair was quite the adventure. Quite the adventure indeed. All kinds of naked-paintedness, cross-dressery, and stilt-walking was afoot! I will post pictures once....I have time to take them off my camera and suchwhat and whatnot. Which will probably be after I get back home. After Monday.

Not much else. Have been watching more movies than I usually watch. Started to watch Transformers, but the disc wanked up. Watched Vantage Point, which was pretty okay but confused me. Watched The Ruins, which was also pretty okay but not scary at all, even though I'm a baby. Rewatched Superbad, which I liked but was not overly impressed with the first time I saw it, and have realized is one of those movies that becomes funnier the more times you watch it. Watched Edward Scissorhands, omfg it is soooo weird and great. Watched Hot Fuzz, OMFG IT IS SUPARRRR AMAZING. X3 "....narp?" lol yay. SWAN!!!

OH and I got a ride on Ashleigh's dad's SUPER BITCHIN' motorcycle! :D He drove us onto the highway and we were BOOKIN' IT really really fast (mayhaps above the speed limit, mehehehe) and it made the motorcycle vibrate so much that the part of my back that came into contact with the seat-back got totally numb, lol. It was awesome.

"What. Is this RUMPUS." XDDDDDDDD ROFLOMFG Potter Puppet Pals is the best. I <3 Snape.

Oh poopsmith.
