For future reference: Gluten free mail order Sweets as part of other sweets and it would be a good reference.

I got through to the specialist today and she tells me that I'm not Coeliac, gluten sensitive yes but not coeliac, my stomach had evidence of irritation but the samples and bloods say no coeliac. She also suggested keeping a food diary, reducing starches and carbs. It's almost easier to say that I'm coeliac rather than trying to explain gluten sensitivity.

Oh and I have to admit that when we dropped into Woodies DIY we picked up a Halloween Kitty, who is soft and cute and when you turn him on and press his foot he plays Black Magic Woman.

I so couldn't resist and he made up for the stress with the letter.

There's a new Farmers Market in Blanchardstown Centre beside the Driocht Theatre, near Blanchardstown Library, on Fridays. The meat is GOOD!

Knit a hat for the Innocent drive - will have to knit more. (would have knit another if it wasn't for getting my waistcoat caught and having to fix things). It was the officail opening of This is Knit in the Powerscourt Centre. Some very pretty wool there.

Last week I got a note to say that there was a parcel. Monday we went to see if I could get it, it was HUGE, home entertainment system huge box. Inside it was a hamper from Nestle. (won via Pigsback); 3 large jars of coffee, 2 packs of instant capauchino; a dressing gown; some clarins hand cream and facial stuff and while I don't agree with their policies free is good.

ETA the headaches are almost gone, possibly because I invested in some stomach friendly iron and have been dosing myself.

Dear Irish Government,

I wouldn't much mind paying more tax if I thought I could make ends meet and thought that the money would be used well.

I went to work today, still having headaches but the intervals seems to be getting longer. [info]grutok thinks I should go to the doctor tomorrow but I'm hoping to go to work.

Dear Authors

If you're sending out emails please note:

CONTRAST oh please. Dark Blue with black writing hasn't enough contrast. Pale on Dark or Dark on pale.

Flashing moving stuff is memory hungry, give me a link to your site if you want me to see moving stuff

Oh and about your site. Flash entry is annoying and won't make me stop sometimes.

Crankiness brough by headaches.

Headache woke me. Slightly receded at this stage but that probably means that the Anadin has kicked in. Home again today.

* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

The Closest is Lynsay Sands' A Bite to Remember "I do like making her do things she doesn't want to do though."
