Our next show is Friday, May 2nd at MIDNIGHT of course.  Here's what's nifty about it.  Not only will WUT be celebrating it's 10TH ANNIVERSARY can you believe it?  This show will be a THEME.  Yes, what WUT is famous for.  We are bringing back a classic that hasn't done us wrong so far.  It's Caucasian American Heritage Night!

Actually, it's WHITE TRASH 3!!!!!!!!!

Just like the Olympics or a bad case of genital herpes, it's creeps up on you when you least expect it.  Or, every four years.   It's a show you don't want to miss.  Go back to the website for all info www.wutspace.com

In other other news, DARK REFRAIN returns to the stage, but not the stage we're used to.  Yes, the Rialto is still dark, (BOO!) but we have found another theater to use and abuse.  It is in Santa Ana.  Our first show in this theater will be on Friday, yes FRIDAY, April 25th.  More info at www.adarkrefrain.com  Word.

3:29PM - From the Home Office in North Hollywood, CA

Hey WUTsters,  Sue here letting you all know that we are postponing the Horror Theme night scheduled for Friday, October 28th. 
We will be performing that night but it will be a "regular" Rocky show for Halloween. As regular as a WUT show can be anyway.  There will not be a show on the 29th. 

So, all in all we will have two shows in October, our normal first Friday of the month and Friday the 28th.  While the Horror Show may not be this October, fear not, we will give this one to you with classic WUT innovation and style. 

Thanks to everyone who came out for 80's night, we had a fucking blast and we hope you did too!  Be sure to check out the pictures on our website.  Good times!

Our next show is Friday, September 2nd at the Fallbrook and the following night at Strategicon in LA at the Westin Hotel by LAX.  Come on down and check out the wackiness that is our road show.....some surprise members in parts they don't normally play.  Should be interesting.  Just click on the events page for more info.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

So before I get to the goods about this months show......how was YOUR April Fools????  Ours was off the chain!  All that and a bag of chips!  Cooler than the water in a swimming pool!  For sheezy on the reezy foo'!  We had so much fun at that show and had the best audience a chinese fire drillin' cast could ask for!  Y'all got up and ran like you had done it a thousand times!  Thanks for the mad cooperation.  But what else would you expect from the most innovative cast around?  Moving on. . . . .

Come celebrate our 7th birthday with us WUTstyle!  We're so excited about our birthday but it's bittersweet.  Our beloved Riff and Rocky Mike will be leaving us for Florida and would you believe he's taking his wife too???  That's right, Miss Angie, our former fearless cast leader is hitting the road.  Sucks for us, but good news for you!  As a result of their departure we have some special guests coming out of the woodwork to give them the send off they deserve!  Isn't it amazing what can happen in a room full of drunk people?

~ RHPS CAST OF WILD & UNTAMED THINGS TO GO ON HIATUS; ENJOY SUMMER VACATION ~

WEST HILLS, CA. -- Recognizing themselves as a cast that is heavily in need of a vacation, and now recently subjected to a slightly less than enthusiastic theater situation, it comes as no surprise that Wild & Untamed Things is taking a venue change into consideration.

Despite healthy attendance for our monthly shows, WUT has been notified it would most likely be placed on an intermittent schedule at Laemmle's Fallbrook 7 Theatre. Learning of this has led to extensive deliberation within WUT's ranks, leading to a decision that it would be in Cast's best interest to consider all options; and for the time being, cancel all future Fallbrook shows indefinitely.

WUT encourages friends and fans not to worry.

While both wutz_ur_nutz & rockyswhores4 have stepped down from their respective leadership roles within cast, primarily due to exhaustion, it is believed that a very strong core of veterans and performers with outstanding skills remain; and they have already taken appropriate steps in planning for our show's future.

In the meantime, to keep all interested parties updated on cast progress, friends & fans are invited to sign up for the WUT E-mail list, and keep close tabs on our Internet news page. Said page and newsletter sign-ups are available on The Cast Web Site.

Over the course of 27 months at the Fallbrook Theatre, WUT greatly surpassed outside expectations, and insurmountable internal ambitions. Cast members are in agreement that each one of us will always strive to accomplish our goals, no matter where we decide to call home.

Even though assuring that this is not the end of our journey, The Cast Of WUT would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all our friends in the Rocky Horror community, be they casts or audience--and especially to Midnight Insanity, whom have always been more than generous with their collective support.

WUT would also like to reaffirm its deep appreciation for the opportunities that Laemmle Theaters provided for hosting the most innovative cast around.

The big 4th o’July holiday weekend is about to commence. And WUT better way to kick off WUT is one o’The Country’s BIGGEST holidays than by attending a WUT show?!?

The San Fernando Valley Cast of Wild & Untamed Things is Proud to Present their monthly Production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight at midnight, July 2nd, inside Laemmle’s lovely Fallbrook 7 Theatre in West Hills.

In honor of Independence Day, WUT intends to be more Patriotic—and less Platonic—in its Persistence to Present among the most entertaining RHPS floorshow ever Produced.

With so many P’s…you’ll be glad our theater has bathrooms!

It has also recently occurred to us that we’ve not hosted a lingerie contest in some time; a discrepancy we aim to rectify right away via inviting everyone to show off their nice/tight asses by cumming to the show decked out in their favorite lingerie, negligee, leather & lace. So dress down to a sleeping gown! Show a lot o’skin, and maybe you’ll win! We may even have prizes available…

But we’ll probably just stare & drool like we normally do.

OH—and we are exceptionally hungry for virgins this month! I can’t determine exactly why; but can say that it is similar to how some women crave chocolate more than usual at that certain time o’the month.

Yes; all right—I’ll admit it: W.U.T. is on P.M.S. There—I said it!

But rather than whine & bitch about it being Hummer Week, instead we have elected to build upon our patriotic theme for this show by possibly…maybe…putting together another original special performance before the show! Personally, I don’t know for sure if we WILL perform as such; or if we even have a good idea to run with. Nobody tells me anything.

All I ever hear is: “Stop trying to sell our children into slavery!” Sheesh.

But I do know that we will have a very special floorshow line-up this month, which shall include the return/guest performance of Samantha in the role of Janet! Serving as her character’s counterpart in his final/farewell/retirement performance as Brad will be Stephan! One simply must gasp: “Holy Shit!”

And your best chance to say “Hi!” or “Bye!” to them will be tonight at the show!

Additionally, there are other surprises in store for this event. Special care will be taken to make Preshow even livelier than it already is. Spontaneous sound bytes forever lurk from behind the speakers. Merchandise shall be on sale out in the lobby. And announcements will be made about upcoming shows, future events and the latest slew o’crazy ideas to emerge from a medicinal smoke cloud at 4:22 p.m. some recent afternoon.

3:00AM - </i>July Surprises!

In July we have the return of Samantha Hale as Janet. She was our original Fallbrook Janet, and left to pursue real acting.

She will return due to a special request from retiring Brad, Stephan Reese. Stephan has been with WUT for 6 years now, and had been the only real steady Brad in its Topanga/Northridge/Fallbrook history. Stephan is leaving us to pursue a real life and a real job. I guess that’s what happens when you graduate from college.

WUT also hopes to book original Fallbrook Frank, Blake Rogers for this next show. If you haven’t seen him, then you need to.

We are also fortunate to have Nicole Garet back on our "fill-in roster."

With so many originals returning the stage in July, it’s almost like an all-star reunion cast.

3:30PM - WUT's </i>Ahead

So WUT has been craving a theme, and until recently we were bound to make our next one 80's Night. But due to technical difficulties, this theme will most likely be rushed to finish by September—or held off until January.

But WUT still has plans to bring you a Horror-based theme in October.

No—not instead of our regular Halloween extravaganza, but in addition to it.

That's right—WUT is looking at bringing you three shows in October! Nothing has yet been finalized.

But if you can't wait until then, WUT does have some extrra good times planned for our Summer shows—including the return of Trixxie Overload, and a possible patriotic theme for July.

It’s time once again for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, starring Wild & Untamed Thing (WUT)!

It’s Switch Night, May 7th; and to boot, it’s WUT’s 6th Birthday!

“What’s a switch night?” you ask. It’s when our regular performers play other parts on stage. This switch is also a gender bender. Switch Night is a tradition in many RHPS casts—most in the area do this type of show at least once a year; and of course, in true WUT fashion, we tried to create the strangest line-up possible for your enjoyment.

Now, I was told that this line-up is secret; but Cast Leader Angie Haney-Phillips has allowed me to send this teaser. For one night only…

11:59PM - Rules Of Engagement

As Wild & Untamed Things look to saturate the MC position, with DEVO on his way out and Bret with one foot in the door, we find another lesser known personality: Thomas. While usually the genius behind much of the technical part of our show as our new Audio Director, he also has played Eddie and Crim. I can say that behind the scenes he is probably the funniest guy on Cast. In preparing to take the stage this March as MC and host of The 2003 WUT Awards, he asked me a question...

"What is the origin of The Rules of Engagement?"

Good question! I think the origin is actually lodged in the strange time at Northridge, when the horrible and cruel DEVO would peer-pressure Cast into doing lame things that he would joke as being cast rules. EXAMPLE: "If my ass is accessible (meaning I bend over to pick something up), another Cast member MUST either, a) slap it, or b) make a sassy comment." If you didn't, he would throw keys at you...or screw your girlfriend.

Then it was... Tough Guy! One that started at parties, and got widely circulated by DEVO & Stephan, is just simply known as "Tough Guy!" Instaed of the normal "Does anyone have a lighter?"...select WUT members (the smokers) would us the abbreviated "Tough Guy." This is actually shortened from the previous "Lighter Tough Guy" for obvious Phonemic reduction. It all meant the same.

Smooth Porn! ... Nevermind!!!

When I say "Bi-"...you say "otch!" And other rediculous call-backs followed, like: "Dude!"..."Sweet!" and "Jeopardy Check!" Love those regulars!!!

Then it came: the wave of The Burp Rule. This was the big one that even flowed over to other casts. That's pretty cool. BTW - You ate it!

Now with such at-large Rules Of Engagement like The Rock Star Rule (which was incorporated into White Trash 2) and such blackballed standards as the infamous Doorknob rule, what could be next? And of course, no nipple is safe from The Role Rule.
