Chellie rebels towards her Mother and authority. She is really hurt, injured and upset. So she does what she can to distract herself from the pain and deep injuries. Hates to cry and show weakness towards others. She shows these feelings through doing risky things. The worse her pain gets, the more risky the things are.

Starts dating this Chili when things are starting to get pretty bad at home. He’s older and free. Which makes him more dangerous and a threat to her mother. Soon she falls in love with him, but can’t seem to handle those feelings because feelings scare her.

Hey,

I've decided to make a journal to show the progression with the novel I am working on for this year's NanoWrimo. In this little journal I will update you readers with day to day(possible hour to hour) updates with my novel. I'll let you in on this crazy ride called NanoWrimo.

To start I guess I should let you know the background behind my novel. Here is some information:

TITLE: Running With Scissors
MFC: Chellie Anderson
MMC: Chili Harper
SMALL PLOT OUTLINE: Basically it's through the eyes of Chellie, a rebellious 17 year old girl. She doesn't get along with her family very well, adn she takes it out by being rebellious. Getting tattoos, drinking, sluffing classes, the whole shebang. She meets Chili a 19 year old she meets at her favorite place to hang out at. As her fights with her mom and family increase, so does her rebellion. And with all this rebellion she is slowly pushing away her best friend(who I have yet to name. Any ideas?) and Chili. And with the conclusion of the book her mom finds out abotu all her rebellious activities and they somehow form a bond by fighting over that or something. I haven't really got the end figured out. But I'm getting there :)


I think that's about all you should or could really know right now. I'll post all the steps I use in making this novel adn everything.
