Christopher > No. Email is a free service provided by Comcast. As it is also free from Hotmail. But as I said both companies are working to resolve this as soon as possible

shane > When I signed up it did not say "e-mail is included for free" If it were free, anyone could come to you and sign up for a comcast.net e-mail address, like hotmail. Correct?

shane > Then why do I have to pay you to receive this bonus? Perhaps I am receiving a bonus from my telephone company for paying my bill-- service! When and for how much will the time without service credit be applied my bill?

shane > If comcast did not provide me with the basic tools I need to use the internet, I would not have comcast internet.
shane > I pay for the basic tools to get internet. IP address, e-mail, newsgroups and customer support. I am paying for the service you are providing me right now.

Christopher > You are paying for the connection to the internet. Everything else; email, newsgroups, etc, are added features
