Charles Barkley once told a story about how he was considering voting for the Republican party’s candidate in an upcoming election. His mother asked him why he wanted to do that when the Republicans only help the rich. Charles responded by telling her that he was rich.
I understand the concept of looking out for number one, so I understand American preemptive strikes. But there’s a difference between protecting yourself and your freedoms, and protecting yourself and your freedoms at the expense of other people and their freedoms. And that’s the difference between being a republican- as opposed to a member of the Republican party- and a fascist. Guess which one George Bush is.
