* So I have been thinking about this for a while and decided with 2006 here I would do it...I have asked the honorable wongfeihung to commit harikari and he graciously agreed...we decided he was too full of me being a whiny bitch about how miserable I thought my life was to share with the world anymore, it seems I only posted in him when I was feeling bummed out...I am giving him 3 more days to put his affairs in order before he does the deed with honor and then the new livejournal takes over for me (more about him coming up)
* The new livejournal will be coffinjoe13 so add him up...he promises much less fucking mopery and more talk about things that really matter! |

* When you buy as many comics as I do, it is never a good idea to wait 2 months to put them away...it takes hourrrrs....by put away I mean take out of the new unsorted issues box that I just put them in as I read them and put them in the long boxes I store them in alphabetically....it was super painful and now I realize I need a new long box...but enough of my bitching.
* the script to Braineating Hippies is done and will start shooting in a week...be ready for this film it will destroy you.
* Sex and Fury is a great Japanese film...you all should see it! |

* The Warriors video game....HOLY SHIT does this rule...for those who don't know the game is based on the movie THE WARRIORS, which is easily one of the best movies EVER! and the game manages to live up to the high bar set by the movie...if you haven't seen the Warriors, I reccomend getting your hands on it (the Directors cut dvd would be the best way) and see it before you play the game to keep the movie unspoiled for ya.
* Smallville tonight was awesome...we got Aquaman and all sorts of little inside jokes to make us fanboys giggle with delight.
* Speaking of comics last week was one of the best comic weeks in ages...you had House Of M #7 with the Scarlet Witch going more batshit and taking away the powers of the majority of mutants...earth 2 characters showing up in Infinite Crisis #1....2 Lexes, Deadshot vs Deathstroke, Scandal's father showing up, and Pariah getting killed in Villians United...too freakin' much.
* I picked up the 1st season of Jonny Quest...I feel 6 years old again!
* I also picked up Batman Begins, I love that movie.

a) fucking SERENITY...it's such a great fucking movie...I definatly wanna see it again if anyone wants to go lemmie know...you don't need to have watched the TV show at all to get what's going on, you can just appriciate it for the fucking amazing movie it is...either way go see it so hopefully I'll get some sequel action.
b) The Ultimate Spiderman game for the PS2...it is way more fun then I should be aloud to have, even if the part where you have to chase Electro with Venom is kinda agrivating.
c) The 10th Anniv. edition Mallrats dvd, I love love love this movie...seriously the best Kevin Smith movie ever...even if I was unfavorably compared to Brody by a girl who was breaking up with me once.
d) The Green Lantern, seriously some of the most underrated comic characters ever are Green Lanterns.
e) Lobster Balls at Long John's.
f) Having a bunch of days off was amazing.

* Anyone wanna go see Serenity with me/in general tomorow night? 8:00 PM at the Endless Mtns Theater in Dickson City....it's only a day early, but hey both Joss Whedon and Firefly rule...and I've been told you don't need to have seen the TV show to get the movie, so come, and if you wanna go with me lemmie know.
* Early Saturday morning I will be heading off to Boston for the Wizard World con....I don't have as much money as I hoped to, but it should still be a lot of fun!
* I will be going to Double Decker tomorow during the day, there is still room so lemmie know if you still want it.

Star Wars = ohmygodfuckingawesomefuckingawesomefuckingawesom...except for one scene which at least was unintentionally funny but still holyfuckingshitthatruled!
and you get an awesom Batman Begins trailer which almost made me jump up and down (the Scarecrow looks fucking badass!)
