Its 12:30. I just finished watching the last episode of House,season 2. I now sit here in a little bit of exhaustion but season 3 calls for my attention.... and y'know what i think i'm gonna take a break....

The waiting is crap, Forest plays their match against Yeovil City this weekend for a place in League 1. And what began as a 7point lead in the begining of the season has slowly winded down to this. THE PLAY OFFS!! Bah humbug!

The shop is coming along slowly...2 days ago i put up some dark paper in the windows at the back of the shop and now the shop feels like a cave.

Its 6:32am. How long has it been since I actually typed that here...?
Well, my spinning world has slowly begun to stop spinnin [GIMME ALL YOUR LOVIN - ZZ TOP]. So much has happened since the last time i blogged....which was around August 2006. Nuts...absolutely crazy... I mean its suppose to be write something everyday or something like that hahahahaha....
The shop has moved to a new address and its slowly coming together. Piece by piece literally. I can't believe i have had the shop for about 5 years now. Thats really something to think about...ask any of my old mates and they would have put money on me lasting about 5 months.... So the shops in a new spot and everything starts once more at square 1 but at level 3 [ROUND AND ROUND - RATT]
I may be moving house soon. I got to move somewhere closer to the shop so it won't cost me a bundle just to open the place up. So a new place to stay is on the agenda...i'm thinking Sec14 or something hahahahahaha
Spunky just got back from Thailand. 2 Shows Bangkok and Pattaya. AND i am currently the only surviving member since its formation in 1991. 16 years of rawking out....hehehe. The show ain't over baby.... its just begun.... only just begun...
Its currently April which makes it 8months since i last blogged. I have been so preoccupied!

| Horror exhibitions and Horror Bands..... |

Yesterday was a change from the norm. Kib and G took me out and we went off to the Horror and supernatural exhibition in Shah Alam. It was RM 5 to walk about 100 meters. It was such a small display. There was this one display which was kinda weird where apparently this 'pocong' was trapped in this glass display.... the guard at the site kept saying "Jangan suluh, nanti dia marah"..so there was all these ppl staring into an empty glass chamber.... Weird. There was this booth selling the infamous "Love Potion" apparently one bottle is around RM2500...now THAT is scary!!!1
That evening ws spent in Zouk watching WE ARE SCIENTIST. dude.... they sucked oh my god they sucked..... they sucked so bad.... I would have paid the RM60 to watch the opening band...whatever they were called... (good to see Izuan in a band!!!) But honestly man.... I was really disappointed with the main band.... the only saving grace really was the exercise in what to when your guitar has problems...
and then it got worst..... I realised I left the keys in the shop....
so....
I was off to Marks..... till at least 630am!

I came home last night, and at my door.... 2 kittens. One came up to give me comapany and the other was no where to be seen. Turns out a cat has given birth on my roof. Which explain what I have been hearin all this scratching sounds in the middle of the night for a week.
My house is now completely mine as my house mate has moved out and now there is this ever so dead like feel about the place. (True: I almost never see him at all.... but y'know what I mean.)
The band jams in about 4 hours and we are almost ready to get in the studio to put down some tracks. (True: we have been sayin that for about 4 years now...hehehehe)

I am at the end of the tunnel...that long tunnel that has seemed like forever to get to the end of. Unfortunately although I can see the light of better days.... there is still a matter of this strangely placed crater that I have to go into in order to come out on the other side....

I actually had a good weekend. Friday was zuok, Concord Hotel - Saturday, Shah's Village Palace - Sunday.....
I have found a new side of zouk I like.... the comedy of people...and last weekend was a blast...
Concord Hotel... is killer....so many women....I mean so many women... and they all have this Shakira like hips thing going down. (Shakira modeled hips must be on sale at TESCO)
Sunday, Mark and I stayed at the Shah's Village chatting, catching up and watching a chick flick on Star Movies...heheheh... In a room I have defintely been in before....definitely...
I wish that all the other parts of my life would be as simple and as uncomplicated. The shop, The Family, The Band.....
Somebody I had coffee with the other day asked me why I actually dive deep into so many things at the same time. I dunno really...I suppose when you're working on something it keeps your mind off whatever else that only kills u inside.

I just got off the phone with my dad... I am so in the mix right now. He had a lot to say (not nagging, not advise) and I am not a little shell shocked (just a lot). Here I am looking at 180 degrees in the way I am. hmmm.....
The new bed is finally in my room and it is A KILLER.... So COMFORTABLE..... makes going home more a joy now. Although staring at the wall is still the order of the day.... Actually these days its more staring at the wall comfortably....hehehe...
So here we all are once more at the solace of the blog. A blog which truthfully a few do read (thanks...I think) but is still my little spot to WRITE A LITTLE.... and speaking of writting, Aziz currently is working on the first 5 pages of our little indie comic collaboration which I must say its going to be a killer... yeah....

Its baby season.... I swear..... everywhere i turn to someone is having a baby.... Oh yeah next gen is on the way...
The shop was robbed a few days ago and we have scampering trying to funds back on track again... well the fact that I can blog again shows that things sorta look sunny once more.
Its been a good day so far.... I mean slowly workin on my garden. Did the weedin bit one more time... and i am still not sure whats gonna grow on my small piece of land. So that bit is slowly moving forward. I found myself scrubbing the floor of my room last night...ohhh.... yeah... I got plans for my room fer sure...
The queen size mattress will arrive today and hopefully my TV in a few days. ASTRO is next on the list. Then some new pillows from IKEA. Some new curtains...some new pillow cases.
On a off tangent, I know she will never read this but I AM GLAD MUMMY IS STILL JUST A CALL AWAY!!!
So there I was this morning sweating away... a nice pile of weed on the ground... sitting at the door.... my housing area is so quiet. I like it here la. I do.

The World Cup is over now for me. And what can you say about the England team this time round, that has not been said by ANY daily press. The run up to the World Cup was fantastic, with the chant of its “It’s Coming Home”, heard almost everywhere…. I mean this was a really good squad. So do I blame Sven? Well, I am glad that he is gone, one the beautiful things about is watching how a manager pushes his team. And Sven was just there for the ride. So its basically looking forward to the 2008 Euro.
So my jerseys go back into the cupboard for another 2 years. All the great England football MP3s I’ve collected will be kept quiet for another 18 months. I am actually extremely sad, and watching the Brazil game now feels like watching a La Liga or Serie A, game while waiting for an EPL game to come on.
I was hanging out with this couple a few days ago and they were both Argentinian fans, I was nice to talk about how both our teams were the best in the world. What really got me was the fact that they were both fans of not just Argentina, but joint fans of Liverpool as well. That’s how it should be really… football and marriage, I don’t understand how a couple can both not love the same team. I mean it would be great to go to a match and support the same team together, it’s like sex really. I mean at footie games all these emotions ebbs and flows and imagine you better half doing the same. Yeah…
I saw the sketches for the comic book project that I am working with Aziz on…and let me say that Aziz is really good. Whether this project mirrors Dan Brown’s Black Hole, is left to be seen.
The band can now get back to jamming regularly, lets hope we keep the album schedule on track.

Lately my friendster profile has actually had someone asking me to be a friend once in 3 days. That's really odd really.... I mean ok some of them i know...then there are these other ppl who just pop out of nowhere.... I mean is there a reason why this is hapening...is there a contest for how many friends you actually have...the winner gets unlimited number of photos that u can put up on your profile?
I mean as anyone who has ever met me, in the shop, at a gig or even at social gatherings will tell you.... " The fucker is one sore upset depressing sunovabitch!". So pray tell then why on earth would people wanna make the effort...hahhahhahahahahaa.....
So the World Cup is almost half way through and I am still in the black...IRISH MONEY notwithstanding...(Lan man...have I whats my total after Argentina Holland). So thats good....once that is over i can get back to my life.....

Y'know its strange where I find myself sometimes and what get myself into. I mean truthfully...how do i get myself into these situations?
Today i sat through my 3rd (that's right three separate occasions) Choice meeting, and believe you me I am actually enjoying it. We're organising the 25th Anniversary Of the Choice Weekend and I am actually part of this....hahahahhaha.....ME! the word bastard has my picture tagged to it!! Me! hahhahahhaa..... what do say to that? what do you say? hahahahahha......
*sniff* anyway....
Spunky finally played in the Revenge Of the Independents Show. And let me say this...Eddie is fantastic.... he pulled it off just fine...with minimal practise before hand. I am so looking forward to the next gig cos this one was the best one yet.... the new songs are coming along great and we have postponed the recording because we still want to arrange the songs further (I sound like Axl Rose when he postponed Chinese Democracy for 5 years)
The World Cup has taken my like away..... but in a good way....dad calls me for odds now and England are still in it...

| 2 Funerals and a Wedding |

There was a time when I would blog every...then it became once a week.....then slowly into once a month..... now i seem to update once in 3 months... (not many ppl come here so I suppose there are no complaints)
I have just sat through CRASH, and let me just say this....the movie is REALLY GOOD!!! I mean the movie just hits home so hard. How things are like here in 'Boleh!' land....
Anyway.... just to wrap up the month and a half up..... (for me)
1. 13th Of May, JaJa and Saleem got MARRIED.....yeah man....they finally did it....beautiful wedding it was.... so grand and filled with all these little things that made it special... u just had to be there...
2. Uncle King passed away last month. He is more like one of my father's best friends. He had this really nice fruit store we use to go to.... I could take what I wanted when I was little from his store and he won't take our money!!! He was also the few that followed my uncles and myself to the Selangor games in the Merdeka Stadium and Shah Alam stadium. everytime Sleangor played home we were there.... R.I.P Uncle King
3. My Aunty Ivy's Mom passed away the same day. She was a hoot I tell u...really rockin old lady...the kind that smokes and keeps her money in her bra and always has some sweets for ya.... R.I.P Gran
4. Exploited came to KL....yeah man...THE EXPLOITED!!! It was amazing la.... the forefathers of PUNK here in KL. And would u believe it NASTY came down as well.... It was a good weekend that one... Cancelled Gig on Saturday + Rawkin Gig and stabbing on Sunday!!! killer.... But Nasty's visit was a good one.... he had some trouble getting home but...i was nice to have a fellow punk to talk to....
5. Went all the way down to M'cca for the Kai Tracid gig with my bro..... There is nothing worst than a pack of shufflers who cannot SHUFFLE!!!
Actually on the whole since the last entry there has been a period of so much loss...

I am actually in a very this very limbo like state. I dunno is a good feeling and also a very uncomfortable one. Its the feeling you get when you look at the work ahead of u and for the first few minutes of realising how much there is to do. Take those few minutes and stretch it about 16 hours and thats where my soul is at.
I had a good weekend by far the best in months. Time for myself without people who knew who i was and with people who had an open heart. 48 hours of detachment. I would recommend it to anyone. I dun wanna talk about the weekend much apart from the fact that it was a look inside I have not had since i opened the shop 3 years ago.
But now its back to work and back to the grind. Gonna need the next few days to knock myself back into shape.
I had no music for the past 50 hours or so the itunes on the PC has been cranking and fixing the soul. Music. People dun realise how strong it is and whta it can do when the write thing is played at the right time. Which is why I detest set platlists..... I mean if it worked before it doesn't mean it would work again....diffrent time different place different people.....

Gosh..... I seem to updated once a month now.... Shows how much time I've got to myself.....
this month my mom and dad celebrated 33 years. yeah rawkin boss...... My sis gave birth to my 4th nephew. The tribe grows.
The Spunky website is currently being done and we should see it go up in about a few weeks. So the spunky machine rumbles on once more....
work has been so central to my life at the moment. Just trying to push the shop to its full potential. Gonna be on this course till June then.... all must stop for the greatest 2 months of the year.
Lets see how many things I can get done by June.

I had one of the most beautiful days of the year today.
1.Chong dropped by ‘just to hang’
2.Fareez, Spunky’s first bassist turned up
3.We actually were together in the same spot for the first time in 13 years.
It was amazing… we were all 18 again. No worries, no troubles, no regrets…. Y’know its reasons like this being in Spunky is really worth its grain….
Although we have not hung out for all that time… we picked up where we left off… THAT’S WHAT REAL FRIENDS ARE!!!
