So, this journal is going to be used for my rants and thoughts rather than my icons. If you're looking for them though, go over to
firefly_chaser to find them.
So as my offical first rant, I pick orchestra class.
So, my new orchestra teacher..well, she's an idiotic snob. I hate her. In half a year, she's brought down our entire orchestra down in a firey death. I mean, she's a horrible conductor. Last year, we had this amazing sub for half of the year and he is the best conductor in the freakin' world. I may be exaggerating that a little but he improved everyone, including the concert orchestra. He made them sound like an orchestra. With my new teacher, everyone sounds like they're screeching, which isn't music. She take the tempos way too fast, expects us basically to play like we're actually in a real world orchestra. NEWS FLASH! Half of the symphonic orchestra is only in it because they're in CKYO. Most people in the concert orchestras and the back of symphonic, well, they're quitting. NO ONE IS HAVING FUN! It's miserable to end every other day in the class with her. Next year is my last year of high school and I love playing the violin and all, but I can not STAND my teacher. I mean, I seriously might give up orchestra because of her. And if I don't, I'm dead certain that I won't be in symphonic because I'm not one of the priviledged, the elite, the ones who've been playing before 4th grade. I am pretty good though. I have a reputation among those who aren't of that high class of being a good violin player. I mean, just because I don't dedicate my life to my instrument doesn't mean I can't play the damn thing. I mean, I'll go be in the concert orchestra, but at least I know she'll still have her wonderful politics there. She's made me cry at home at least 3 or 4 times. I've NEVER had that happen to me before. She doesn't respect me or anyone else. She has no limits. I mean, who makes people have a concert when she's seen them a total of like 3 times that month because of snow days. Seriously, I love orchestra and all, but she makes it the most miserable experience in the world.
Man, it feels good to rant.
