I received my copy of the Third Season in the Mail today. Hooray!
I've also located and watched the Blink Easter Egg...(The location of which will not be mentioned here :-)

Current Mood: jubilant

I got other pictures around the area and found a total of 5 stop signs with Voldemort added. I checked again a couple days ago and the signs have now been cleaned and/or replaced, so they no longer have the name written on them. I may post the pictures of the ones with Voldemort added in the next few days.

BTW: This was not staged by me, in fact I parked in the parking lot to sit for a moment while listening to HP7 on Audio Book and looked out the window and saw the sign (Fortunately, I keep a camera in the car most of the time)

I just upgraded my hp pavilion xt1175 to be able to burn DVD+R/RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R DL, CDR and CDRW (NEC ND-6750A Slim DVD Drive) for $70

With the exception of the original faceplate not fitting on the new drive, inserting the new drive where the old one was went extremely well as the removable case fit the new one as well as the old one and the computer accepted the new drive with no further work.

Haven't yet actually tried to burn anything, but it is already reading better than the original and is much quieter (And weighs appreciable less than 1/2 as much as the original DVD-ROM, CDR, CDRW drive).

I found out today that I have a book mentioned in "The Radioactive Boy Scout"

It is a copy of "The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments", which apparently was banned and removed from store shelves and libraries by the government in the late 60's. Apparently it is quite a rare and expensive book...

My mom is encouraging me in trying to find someone who might want to purchase it...
