I miss Hogsmede.
I miss the people, the slow pace, the lovely faces, and just everything. Everything's so loud here. Nymphadora's been sleeping with us for the past few nights, and I don't blame her, I'm ten time more exhausted than I've been in the past three years. I know Ted's trying for that job, but from the looks of it, I don't think he'll be getting it anytime soon.
Our flat in Hogsmede's just been rented out, and I can't ask to move again, it'd just be too much, we wouldn't be able to do it. I do love Ted, but I'm beginning to question why he wanted us to come down here. I know he loves the city, but this is just, so different.
I suppose I'll get used to it, but I feel like I haven't seen anything but concrete for days. Maybe I'll go to the park with Nyphadora tomorrow. I've got the day off. Ted's working though. He's always working. |

I thought I should start one of these, what with our practically new life and just to pass the time. It has been quite a change from Hogsmede! But change can be good. Nyphadora's doing really well, making new friends and adjusting to our new home, which is a bit smaller than the last.
Ted has been trying to get a job at a book publishing firm for the past few months, so we've moved to London and I'm currently working at Eeylops Owl Emporium. Nymphadora is a dear as always, she's always so good when I have to work and I'm not able to afford find a caretaker. She's four now, and I can't believe how fast the time is passing by! Her hair style this week is purple and sticking almost straight out. Gillian gave her a poster of The Four Feathers last week, and I thought she wouldn't understand, but after seeing it, she morphed. I'm still trying to get used to that. She has this new trick; changing and hiding with her dolls when I call for her. Well, I suppose she'll like their music when she gets a bit older? I just hope she realizes how odd she looks with hair standing straight out!
We've been looking at a few homes, but Ted feels we should wait until he gets the job he wants. Then we'll be set, and even Sirius'll be able to stay with us! I'm sorry we don't have room now, but we have sent many thank yous to the Potter's for taking you in. They are such a nice family, a bit wealthy I think though. They embossed their thank you letter. I don't think I've even seen that before, except for the winter parties that Moth-
Well, I suppose I should go. Work in an hour, and I've still got to find a sitter for Nyphadora! Maybe June will be home this afternoon? I should go ask. Goodbye for now! |
