wheee an update!
Well yah it's been a little while since I've bothered to update the journal once again. Well went to anthrocon, and a few other things have gone on since that point.

Well anthrocon wasn't too bad, was very busy with being staff for the first time in the first time in 8 years.. I was helping in the super sponsor lounge and it was a bit of a fiasco due to a few issues this year that we were unable to do in the past years. Hopefully we can get this resolved before next year.

Got a few things at the convention, not too much stuff though. I wish I had gotten more time to spend with friends, was a bit too hectic and am not going to do that again.

Work hasn't been too bad lately, just been working alot to make up from time from going to anthrocon, then everything else that's new. Recently we had inventory, guess we did fairly well.

Helped a friend move to a new place she'll be living, it's a nice place, a duplex in a fairly decent neighborhood, not too far away from my friend theddy. They are close to the border of pa, maybe 30 or 40 minutes away, if that.

Well that's it for now, hopefully new stuff will happen that I can mention.

so furfug at work?
So I'm working tonight at work, nothing unusual except a full moon so all the loonies were out in force tonight. Started out with angry lesbians arguing about who wanted to use what toy, who fucks who, and who likes the thick cocks and who likes the skinny ones. Get them sorted out and then have another customer come in.

We are pretty sure that the customer is a bit special needs, but he doesn't seem to bad except for being a little bit annoying. So we get on the conversation of odd sex stuff and he mentions bestiality, and we tell him how it's legal in ohio and such. Which technically it is. Then he goes on to say mention a type of bestiality he is into. I'm facepalming to myself going 'oh dear god don't say it.. don't say it' and yep, the word out of his mouth is furries. So go on to tell him how I'm going to a convention and such and give him some web addresses for fur sites, well will see how that turns out.

Had a bunch of other odd customers, but nothing too unusual besides the lesbian and closet furry, who was buying stuff to clean his doll with he bought from the store a few weeks earlier.

I'm not even supposed to be here today...
So today starts out fairly boring, get up, eat, do some chores. Then notice I have a phone call on my phone that I missed. So call my boss at his number, find out that they need someone to work their downtown store for the evening, Now after past experiences working the store I'm a bit hesitant. After a while, I say screw it. Overtime is overtime and it'll help with all the headaches that will be coming up rather shortly. So get a call and I'm wearing my headphones that I recently got for my phone. Still getting used to it as I had to realize they are a headset as well as headphones, told my boss I'd show up downtown between 5 and 6 pm. So run into my normal store to get my chargers for my phone and bluetooth headphones as I forgot them the day before, and low and behold, my laser is there. It's quite a bit more well built feeling that I was expecting and awesomely bright and fun to toy around with.

So after that, come home and talk to my brother for a bit before heading downtown to work at the boringness of the downtown store. Now the store used to be fairly busy before they decided to renovate it, remove the cigarettes and candy. Now that they did all that, it's an incredibly boring store that gets very few customers and does little business. So I got to sit around all night and point at stuff in the store with my laser pointer. I did have a little fun with a bird, figured I'd see if I could get a bird to chase a laser pointer.. they will. It was fun for a few minutes. Day ended at work, hope I did it all right, if not I'll get a call or something later.

Wheeeee, that was it for my day, so exciting.. now bed.

Wheee ups and downs.
So today wasn't too bad of a day.
Got up, it was a little chilly earlier but not too bad as the day went on. Did my chores and stuff around the house, checked a few prices then went out and did something... yah.

So get on the bus, go up to the verizon wireless store near me, dumbass I forgot about the one that is walking distance but oh well. Got an actual cell phone... amazing. Go in, figured that they might have the env version 1 in stock for $49.99 dollars like best buy. Nope, so I tell the guy I'm just going to run to best buy to get the older model for less. Tells me to hold on a minute, runs over talks to his manager, they were determined enough to keep me from going to best buy they sold me the env2 for $49.99 dollars. So now I have a cell phone, 450 minutes, and unlimited text/data/web on it.

Work wasn't too bad, did over 1300 dollars in sales which is good for a monday. Sold one of our really big dildos, 15" tall, 8.5" around, pretty heavy club like item. Had a really hot guy come in near the end of the night in a dark blue utilikilt, and recognized it right away. Helped him and his girlfriend get a few items, then asked the guy if I could get an under the kilt shot. Sadly, even though I was allowed, my camera lacks a flash, therefore I was unable to get a picture which sucks. They said next time they come to the store, they would have a picture for me :)

Eh, just been one of those weeks.
I'm just a bit blah, the constant weather change has been hammering at my poor sinuses and kicking my ass. It's been slowly getting better as the weather has been stabilizing. Work isn't too bad, just wish my mom would get a job as that is not a prospect I'm looking forward too as it's going to suck if I have to do that.

Ahh well, sadly I haven't had much ambition for artwork which sucks.

Well time for rest, can't think of anything really to talk about.

Ugh stupid and creepy people...
So we've determined that the people willing to flirt with us at the porn store are either total sluts or creepy freaks. Both of us had people hitting on me and my co-worker than made us go.. uh yah.. no. First was my turn tonight, nice mixed guy talking to me, then gives me his number, then tells me to come to our local bathhouse, which is the largest in the world according to a bunch of stuff. But then mentions how he has 4 regular fuck buddies on the side, I'm not against going out with someone, but when you brag about your multiple buddies that you have regularly and other guys you do stuff with, just kinda turns me off to the whole idea of wanting to hang out with you as that was the only thing that you really mention during the whole conversation.

Then my poor co-worker, she had it a bit worse. Guy comes in at the last 15 minutes or so, he's looking at the stuff, talking about how it's getting him horny, how he thinks it's hot and what not. Seeing the shemale stuff pop on screen and commenting that it's really hot and such, all that of a thing of a guy with tits.. Then I run into the back real quick, turns out he told my co-worker that he'd love for her to use a strap on and fuck him, and that he tips well.. Sometimes the people that come into the store just boggle our mind.

On a brighter note, went out to eat with my mom on her birthday, got her a gift certificate to pat catans and such, and gave her a little flashlight that moos, it was a good day :).

Well the night at work was starting out fairly boring until around 9-9:30 or so...
I'm talking to one of our regular customers and we hear a rather resounding solid bash noise outside, anyone that's heard a car accident knows this sound. Everyone in the store turns their heads, and my co-worker looks up and she gets to see a truck rolling over back to it's tires. We run to the door gawking and I grab the phone to call ems. Now I explain to ems that I'm about 100 or so feet away from the accident inside the store, and they continue to ask me questions such as is anyone hurt? do you see blood and such from where I'm standing. I explain each time that I'm too far away to make out the details. So ems and firetrucks show up, help up and clean up the glass and leaking fluids off the road and take one of the people in the truck to the hospital. Maybe 3 minutes or so later, the police show up, and the officer looks kinda confused as there is no one there and no one called in to let them know they were leaving the scene. We explain to the officer when he drives to our lot that everyone had left, and ended up getting a new customer as well as he said he'd come in on Wednesday with his wife. Now if you're curious as to why Wednesday, it's ladies' night at our store, 20% off everything for women who enter the store. Great deal for anyone who's actually a woman, dressing up as one doesn't count.

After that, not too much really happened. Tried to push a cheesy movie called black spank master to our customers, when they weren't giggling, they were shaking their head and telling me that they didn't need it. Also, had a group of people come in, giggling and pointing at stuff, we were explaining lots of the different items and showing the differences, they seemed a bit surprised at our actual knowledge of the products and usage. We pride ourselves at our store to be knowledgeable and such on anything we sell.

Wasn't too bad of a mother's day, had a big brunch thing here at the house for family and such, seemed everyone had fun. Then went to work and had a very slow day which sucked cause I sat around mostly playing my psp as we didn't have much in customers, hopefully tomorrow will be better.

So did some good stuff and some dumb stuff. I went into work today, then found out after I got there that I didn't need to go in cause I wasn't scheduled for today, but I did pick up my box that I had sent there. Also, turns out my stupid motherboard sucks balls as it refuses to recognize a dvd burner that should work with the system.

Transferred some files over and helped with yard work in the yard, it looks good at least.

That's about it, a rather boring and dull day for me.

iron man...
I went and saw iron man today and I must say, I enjoyed it quite thoroughly as it was very good and I loved every minute of it. I hope that they do make a sequel for the movie. It does seem that every movie maker these days is putting stuff at the end of the credits in movies now, not a bad thing in my opinion.

Also, the reason for a lack of exciting posts is there hasn't been anything of major note happening here for me other than getting soaked the other day in the rain and having to dry out while at work.

wheee boring day off
So yes, a day off that wasn't super busy or hectic for me. Slept in a bit then got up, did some chores and ran around. Went to best buy and picked up some dvd-r's to copy stuff to. I just want to know why the kids they hire act like dicks.. I was polite when I asked about the discs and the kid was being a smart ass when he responded. Then stopped by the half price book store, got a movie for my brother for his birthday in june, it's a funny movie from back in the 50's and the view of how marijuana is the worse thing on the planet and worse than cocaine or heroin. Came home, at some french bread pizza(yum), then sat around and went to the gas station to get lottery tickets, maybe I'll win tonight? wish me luck.

Busy night at work.
So had to work today, went in like normal stopped at steak and shake to get something to eat to last me through work, didn't work too well as I got it early and then ordered pizza, but I still have a bunch of that left so I can share it with my co-worker tomorrow. We got our new lingerie in and it's nice, some really cute pieces.

Busy night, almost 1500 in sales before taxes, so pretty good. Just under 1000 of that was on dvd's so that's a bunch. Not too much in our Nitrous charges which is kinda surprising considering it was a Saturday night. Sold a few toys and helped out the poor guys who their girlfriend's sent them to the store to get them toys and gave them the concept of 'surprise me'.

Onto a rant that is aimed at both you guys and you girls. I work in a porn store, we see this happen constantly. I for one am sick and tired of people sending their significant others into the store to get them a toy and tell them to suprise them. It's retarded, cause most of the time, most of them won't have any real idea what they should get them. If you want them to get you a toy, tell them what you want, or at least give them a starting point. Just like guys who tell their girlfriends to get them porn, give them a damn idea or at least a production company. This is a common problem that I have, so we try and help out our customers the best we possibly can.

Well on a different note. I got my information for anthrocon registration for staff.

Well... white trash fun..
The day at work wasn't too bad, did decent sales and what not. It was a single customer that changed the whole outlook on the day. We had a quality white trash momma come into our store today. She came in, shopped for about 10-15 minutes at least, nothing unusual as wednesday is ladies' day at our store, 20% for any women. What was weird was a cop comes in about 5 minutes later, and asks,
'Did you see this woman' and we say yah, she was in here for about 10-15 minutes at least. Well turns out, she had 2 kids outside the store hiding in the bushes while she went shopping. Yah, to make it even better, the kids were ages 9 and 4, and one of the kids weren't hers. We watched the cop sit in the lot and then when he let the lady out with the two kids, we saw another car pull up and realized it was the other kids mom, aka the ladies' sister. You could tell someone was getting an asskicking later. So we let the cop know we had cameras and stuff and who to talk to if they wanted that footage. Other than we'd ask customers randomly if they had kids hiding in the bushes then giggle if they said no and gave us odd looks.

Other than that, it was a typical day. Nothing really new happened.

buses and such...
Normally I'm a fan of the public bus system here locally, it's not too bad and usually close to running on it's schedule. It's rarely late and even less of the time early. Now I catch the bus home cause I'm still in the process of getting my license, long story, even if I had my license and a car, I'd still take the bus to work most of the time as it's cheaper than gas at the moment. Now tonight, waiting on the bus like normal and it roars past, ignoring a red light and my waving and almost practically in the street to get it's attention. I plan to make a rather hefty complaint to the bus authority tomorrow about that, I don't care about the passing me up, but going through a redlight at a fairly busy intersection pisses me off. So caught a cab home and wasn't too happy over that either.

Hehehe, another day and another horrible evening of cheesy sexual innuendos between me and my co-worker. Also, countless jokes and references to 4/20 dates and hitler's birthday. Now overall it's been a decent week so far, but I hope that it'll continue the nice bit of time that I've been lucky enough lately to enjoy.

why do I punish myself so?
I'm currently working on a picture, it's going to be really cool when I can finish it. As far as I can tell, it's going to be my most time intensive picture I've ever done, There will be at least the following mediums on it:
1. Pencil
2. colored pencil
3. ink
4. marker
5. water color
6. gold/silver/copper leaf
7. fabric
8. stone
9. flower petals
and that's from what I can guess so far, may actually get some more items to embellish it, but hopefully it'll turn out well.

News you never wanna hear.
Well it turns out I may be moving, and not by any choice of my own really. Seems that my mom still has been unable to find a job and I may end having to move in with her to help her out, now let me put this into a context. This is not something I would look forward to, even though I can make the payments on her apartment on my own. But this raises several issues that I don't want to contend with.
1. No privacy at all. I love my mom, but she's a god damn snoopy fucking woman.
2. I'll have to be a god damn baby sitter for her, to make sure she gets a damn job so she can get back on her feet.
3. I'll have to deal with her excuses for shit constantly.

But I guess there are some upsides, I'd be able to go to anthrocon without an issue, and I'd be able to have fish of my own, so I guess that's a good thing. But I shouldn't have to move in with my mom to help support her and help her get back on her feet.

ugh legs hurt.
So today was a fairly boring day, got up after sleeping in, nice to do that on a day off. Did my chores in the house and then ran up to work to get my paystub so I could make sure it was correct which it was. Only reason I wanted to check as it was my first paycheck that was being done through direct deposit.

So also posted a thing on furaffinity's forums to see if there might be any luck in getting one of my sketchbooks back somehow, but I somewhat doubt it.

Took a long walk today, about 2 miles each way, was kinda nice, just enjoyed the time outside. Took about 200 or so pictures, also 3 video/audio clips of this one spot where frogs were doing their mating call. Will post images later when I've had a chance to go through them and sort/resize them.

Also, on a funny note. Last night at work, a customer comes in, coughing and such. He sounds horrible. He asks us if we have any chloroseptic. We tell him that we don't but if he wanted, he could get this stuff we have called good head, what it does is numb the throat so your gag reflex is suppressed for a bit. He took and said it worked, but he just kept swallowing cause his throat was numb. I thought it was funny as hell.

Nothing too exciting at the moment for me to report on, just surviving and going from day to day. Waiting to see how horribly my co-worker is going to be this sunday as it's basically a holiday for her. Wheeeeee.

Still working on my art nouveau piece and picked up the gold flake for it today at pat catan's.
