Hey... maybe we'll get lucky and Baen will take advantage of rabid Wen Spencer fans like they did with David Weber and the latest Honor Harrington book. They released an ARC in ebook format that fans could purchase early and buy NOW.

Bastages... and yes... it worked.. Baen got mine and many other Honor Harrington fans' money...

Hi - I emailed Baen and they said they will be releasing an earlier eVersion of the book as they have for the new Honor Harrington - tentatively scheduled for sometime in November.

Wow! With your name and the title on, the picture comes together. It looked kinda chaotic and busy before. Pretty, but chaotic and busy. With the title over the (why the hell couldn't the artist figure out it was supposed to be a chinese) dragon, it all comes together..and Tommy's much more visible too. Cool.

Wow. I'd take a look at that one for the cover alone, even if I'd never heard about Wen Spencer before.

Heh. I love the oil spill, black-and-yellow screwdriver, and the generator or whatever in the background. In combination with glowly blueness and (wow) dragon, that is.

Even if I'd *NEVER* enjoyed reading SF and/or Fantasy, seeing this cover on the shelves would draw me in and compel me to buy the book.

to be different from the rest, i think i'll critique it. the whole scene is dense (not a bad thing). i wonder who is the watery person behind the opaque figure. (i sort of hope that's not the title character because i imagined him dreamier. *sigh*. um, are there feathers on his legs?) i wonder if the blue light is evil or empowering. i wonder where the rest of the dragon is. speaking of the dragon, it looks more curious than evil. *pets dragon* -m.d-
