Right now I've been blogging here at Wordpress. You can go there if you're still interested in my useless ramblings. ;) I may switch back to livejournal sometime in the future, though. Who knows?

I know there are many fantastic writers on lj, so I'm really hoping to appeal to one of you!!!! I'd love it if someone could proofread a satire I've had to write for a Senior AP English assignment. I'm sure there are a multitude of things I could do with it, because it's just not working for me. I just need to find out if those alterations will consist of a few changes or a major overhaul. It's only slightly over two pages double typed. It's due Tuesday, Jan 22. Be brutal!

Yay! I got my banners from my entries to Rickman Stills. I'm not that great at making icons, but at least I won something. Hehe. I'm surprised.

I have my schedule for senior year, next year. It will be interesting. The difficulty level isn't to different compared to this year's and I've come out unscathed. Our year is divided into trimesters instead of semesters.

Lately I've been doing some beta work for Battles by froggy. There are 6 chapters up, currently, and it's rated L. She originally had a single beta, but I've been added as an additional one for grammar/spelling focus.

Did I ever mention that I HATE English? ;)

16 days left of school. Everything is slowly winding down. Which means that teachers are trying to cram as much as they can into the lessons! Grr.

My AP English teacher graded my term paper last week, which I was relieved about. He was very complementary except to say to 'watch my topic sentences.' :) He said I had a VERY solid argument, too! The paper was the comparison of The Grapes of Wrath and Native Son. Now if only we can get him to actually teach instead of talking to the quarterback about football.

I'm freaking out a little about Wednesday, when I take my AP English exam for college credit. We took the practice exam a few weeks ago with no preparation and I was about 1 point away from a 4. All I need is a 3. My teacher said, in 30 years, his (Junior) students have never gotten a 5, a few 4s, and a handful of 3s. He says I can make it, but the practice was only a third of the questions and 1 essay intead of 3. *gasp*

Higher note - my 19th birthday is coming. . . . I have no idea what I'm going to do. Probably go to Biagi's with a couple of friends. Yay, seafood pasta!

Oh, I was inducted into the National Honor Society, too! I need to get 12 hours of community service, which will be easy since, I plan on serving food at Canal Days this year. Two days, and I can be done! I had to pay $12 in dues, but I get a "cool" pin now and a gold cord when I graduate. Whoohoo.

Well, I've preordered my HP book. It's driving me crazy, July is SO far away! If anything happens to my Potions Master, I'll be sure to come back here to vent. I'll be needing your support, people! I have a feeling a few therapists will be making some extra bucks. :)
