Went onto Teaspoon to post under my other name and...had forgotten my password and the name if all truth be known!

So I had to create another email account and another name. I really should keep track of my psuedos!

Have a couple of stories I've been working awhile on and I'm quite happy with them. They aren't my usual pairing or my usual plotting. I hope the public likes them :D. Now, the fun thing is going to be remembering to check that other email...

You know...it's actually very different coming home and not checking Teaspoon immediately for emails or for things that need to be taken care of, mod wise. Of course, the credit card bill will be less. Hubby is a bit happier; we have to shore up the credit situation if we want to borrow for a house in the next year. As far as I know, we're good, but Teaspoon was on a credit card of its own; we can cut up that credit card and get down to two.

And time wise, it's great to relax finally. I didn't realize how much time it was taking, on average 2-4 hours a day. Always on the edge of the couch until I went to bed, watching the email box, checking it first thing when I got up in the morning, after work.

It's been a long four years. I've been involved through several owners and took the payment on myself three years ago. I'm going to miss it, but it'll do exceedingly well under the new mod team. Better than I did; yes, I feel guilty about it, but...

Now I get to be just an author again...I get to do what I love without worrying that I'm a mod, that I have to watch the fine line...

It was a great four years. I enjoyed working with Sam, Aces, Carmen, Alden, Mim and Nostalgia. Thank you!

Happy Holidays to everyone. I'm posting early as we're leaving tomorrow for San Francisco and I don't know how much I'll be online.

Some good news: the place where I was working as a consultant has offered me a full time job starting in the new year. Full time is 32 hours a week, which will still leave me some time to investigate and grow the consulting job. I mean...what's wrong with a 50 or so hour work week? I've been fine so far :D Or as hubby says: You could take the time and relax, you know.

I got bit by the writing bug again and have started a bunch of small stories. But I'm feeling weird about them. I'll heavily edit them and shove them up. Or break out my other writing alias and put them up on that. If I start doing that with the stories that I don't feel great about, I can deny that they're mine!
