WalruZ gives the pod a present
Tomorrow is David's 15th birthday.buckyd and I gave him his present a little early.
1. An iSight, the Apple webcam.
2. iStopMotion software - animation software for the Mac.
Once it's set up, you can see the webcam image in a preview pane and capture it. If you move something in the image, you see a 'ghost' image of how it was before you started moving things. Once you capture another image the 'ghost' image updates. You keep moving and capturing and soon you have a little animation. You can export these to iMovie and really go to town. It's pretty darn neat if I do say so myself.
