I just found a pretty nasty inconsistency to Lost. Maybe.
In a flashback showing what Ana Lucia was doing in Australia just before the crash, you see her driving Jack's dad around, including to a house that his "daughter" lives at. Lady at the house yells and makes him go away.
Episodes later you learn that Claire is that daughter. Well when the doc confronts Claire about it, its before she even gets pregnant, and right after a car accident that leaves her mother brain dead.
It's possible that the yelly lady could have been that bitchy aunt, but I don't get the impression that the aunt gives a shit what happens to Claire anyway. If it was her mom, how could a brain dead woman be screaming at a drunken doctor?
I guess I just need to keep watching. |

So we had a trainer's meeting tonight, the first one since I got certified. They happen at Linda's house, out in Keithville. Keithville can also be defined as B.F.E. It runs together with Spring Ridge, a small town I used to work in. David used to live out there, probably not far from Linda's house..... I KNOW THAT AREA DECENTLY. Tell me how I drove around aimlessly for almost a full 2 hours, only to end up passing a sign reading "Welcome to Pinola County"
Me: County? WTF? (Louisiana doesn't have counties, we have parishes.)

But another thing I need to rant about is Cody and Sman. Cody (thank God) to a much lesser extent. They're that 'typical male' mentality when it comes to gay people. That whole "chicks are okay but not dudes" idea. And they swear up and down till they're blue in the face that it doesn't make them bigots. YES, FUCKERS, IT DOES.

Well, genius, how's a gay guy gonna know if you are interested or not if they don't hit on you? What if a chick hit on you but you WERE gay, would you be offended if she simply didn't know? I highly doubt you're going to get raped by a guy if you simply and politely say "I'm sorry, I'm not interested." I HATE that they regard gay men as if they are so uncivilized that they can't even accept that a straight guy is straight. I guess ignorance assumes ignorance.
So tonight we're watching Boondock Saints, and the part where Willem Dafoe is in bed with the other guy comes up and they're all EWWWWWWWWW OMFG AAAAUGH THATS THE WORST THING EVER KILL ME NOW. Okay so that was an exaggeration. But Cody did say it made him want to stop watching the movie. IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S RAUNCHY HARDCORE ASS SEX. To be perfectly honest, I get more grossed out by unnecessary man/woman sex scenes in movies. And it's not cause I'm some idiot Yaoi nut that just loves to see two men fucking. Again, being honest, I wouldn't ever wanna see that. I don't even watch porn with men and women, cause I think watching men have sex with anything is gross. Guys just aren't pretty during sex. But it's not that it shakes me to my moral core, it's just purely aesthetics. With them, it seems like seeing a gay man doing something as innocent as walking down the street makes them feel like less of a straight man, or something.
I don't know why I'm trying to put a reason behind it. I truly DO NOT understand it. I don't think I ever will. But it does hurt me to hear them say those things. I can't stand the thought that the guy I might possibly spend my life with has it in him to hate out of ignorance. Maybe it's the fact that I have people very dear to me that are gay. And it almost makes me feel guilty to even be with him. Like even being with a guy that would think like that makes me less tolerant. Buh. |

I think I may be coming down with something... Ashley had some crud, then Sman, and now my sinuses are packed so full of snot it ain't even funny. And I woke up with stomach crud at about 7 am and can't get back to sleep cause I can't breathe.
Anyhoo, I've honestly barely touched my WotLK beta for a few reasons, but we can mostly blame Jericho. I can't stop watching. But I'm almost done. Almost. But I log on to beta for a bit, till it breaks utterly, then start watching Jericho and can't stop. And that's how you ignore beta testing. But I have sufficiently fucked around in Northrend on my druid, and like it. But the lag of the beta servers makes it less than enjoyable. So I made the Death Knight, out of lack of anything else to do. I never did have much interest in it. But... omfg. Death Knights are awesome. I made it out of the DK starting zone, and meandered over to Silithus as I'd never really quested there on my other characters. So I thought why the hell not. Now most of the mobs you first encounter are level 55-57ish. As 58 I tore through them pretty easily. But I found a camp of 58-61 Twilight Hammer guys and tore through them as well. So I'm very, very pleased with the expansion so far, and plan to reserve my copy this weekend. Seems to be just what I need to refresh my interest in WoW. Though I'll be lucky if I have time to raid. I'm still in Hells Bells, and they are an AWESOME group. The new guild/raid leader is one of the nicest people I know, and there are like 4 other people from the south with accents way thicker than mine, so I feel right at home, lol. But hopefully with the xpac, and things less than they used to be, they'll have more need of a resto druid than a hunter. I'm going to love Penpen even more with the expansion, but healing's what I love, and I'm better at healing than I am at huntering. I know I know. Like it takes skill to be a hunter.

I'll be honest, I'm really only typing this entry because Cody and Sman kept waking me up all night being too loud in the living room. And then Cody woke me up at 5:30 am coming to bed. He wasn't tired at the time so he kinda rubbed my back, which I love, but I was tryin to freakin sleep. I have a 10 hour shift ahead of me tomorrow. So then he decided he was tired. Well now I'm wide fucking awake. So I'm not being shy about this keyboard.
I taught my first class tonight. I started to wuss out and let Candice do all the talking and intro stuff. But after about 10 minutes I took over and finished the rest of the class. It went well, I felt really good about it. Candice said I needed to talk louder, but there were things I noticed myself that I need to work on. I need to correct people more, and also I need to explain things just a little bit better. Most of it is stuff I have to say over and over because simple instructions are still too complicated to follow, apparently.

And every single person was at least 2 feet from their puppies' faces. I even explained that the further that treat had to travel, the more chances puppy has to get distracted. I'm not sure if any of you know this super secret fact about puppies, BUT THEY HAVE NO ATTENTION SPAN. When teaching a behavior, specially in puppies, the quicker you can teach the dog what the word actually means, the easier it is to get duration. But dog's don't speak english, and puppies only speak treat when they think they're gonna get it, or something more interesting comes along.
But I was prepared for that. People don't listen, and they complicate simple directions. Though that's why I have a job, anyone can learn clicker training from the internet, a book, a dvd... but none of those things can tell you if you're doing it wrong.
Anyway, my allergies are going absolutely fucknuts crazy right now. I think I may be developing a dog allergy. Sometimes they flare up when I go to bed, and Munch sleeps on the bed throughout the day, and hair gets everywhere.
Well my mission to annoy Cody is failing. I think some Final Fantasy 7 is in order. |

Most of my bad habits are contradictions. In several situations I rush myself to get things done quickly so I won't have to worry about it, and in other I procrastinate. I'm OCD about almost everything. I have to have order, rythm, and routine. I also chew my nails, though not so bad anymore.

Sure there are things I look back on and think "Well that could have gone better..." But everything that's happened to me has added to a wealth of good things I have now. For years I've lamented my money situation only to find out that it has helped my credit be awesome. I used to think it was so unfair that I'd been in such an abusive relationship, but I got to talk my best friend into and through ending hers. Nothing truly bad can happen to you if you just learn from it.

This is only my second serious one and.... well let's face it, David and that relationship can't hold a candle to Cody. With David, I was constantly oppressed and made fun of and lied to. With Cody, I'm allowed to be myself with no pretense at all. And he actually loves me for it. So I can't really compare anything. I'm different with Cody than I was with David because now that I can actually be myself, I'm happy.

I really should be showering and running errands right now... But I never even get to log onto wow anymore and I was craving some PvP. Just played an awesome Warsong Gulch match. And it's AV weekend so yaaay.
Today it's "Get a bunch of shit together" and then for Monday and Tuesday I'm going to try and help out wherever possible for the Gustave refugees. Hopefully at the animal shelter, cause I'm totally not about people. Not that I don't care and have the greatest most sincere sympathy. I just don't know what to say to people who have literally lost EVERYTHING. And things always come out wrong with me, and I'd rather not insult someone unwittingly.
So anyway, training is going well, I'm still not quite there yet but I've learned most all the learnables, just have to get used to teaching a class. And being that a LOT of people don't know how to listen to simple instructions, this can be very frustrating. I don't see what's difficult about "spray him in the face as soon as he barks then praise him as soon as he's quiet." But no, people always spray 5-10 seconds after the bark, so the dog thinks hes getting squirted for standing there being quiet and they still don't even praise the dogs. And they wonder why their dogs won't mind. It does NOT matter how clear you are or how you repeat yourself, people just act like they never heard you to start with. It is very very annoying.
But yeah, as of Thursday, barring any interference from Gustave (that prick) I'll be a certified trainer, and Friday night I start teaching my first puppy class. I'm also supposed to start Munch's intermediate class on Thursday night but that's when I work. So I'll have to make it up.
Also, JJ hasn't started any shit yet. He keeps sending Ashley stupid texts saying he's sorry but also very obviously trying to lure her over there saying stuff like "you have this this and this here you can come get it anytime you want BEFORE I THROW IT AWAY." Douche. I hate him so much. So me, Ashley and Cody are going over there late tonight (with Munch) cause he's staying with his brother at the moment.
OH OH OH. Last night after class we wandered around Petsmart for a couple of hours as usual, saying hi to people and letting folks pet Munch. Yesterday 3 different kids reached right over his head (reaching over a dog's head is a pretty big nono in doggy language, but well socialized dogs learn to tolerate it) to pet him and he didn't even flinch. I was well beyond pleased with him. I love my dog. Living in this apartment with him is the best thing that could have ever happened to us. Now I don't have the option of a backyard when he annoys me, so we are in each others' faces constantly. But now we work together MUCH more than we used to. He obeys me better, loves training more, stopped doing that nasal whine CONSTANTLY (that was horrible) and we have that bond that people always talk about having with their dog. That same attunement that can never ever be described effectively, or even understood unless experienced. Without any guidance, or ever having done it before.I can move my hand in such a way that my dog understands that I want him to jump over the back of the couch and land on Cody. >: D I was starting to think he wouldn't make a good demo dog because he didn't like people much but I really think now that he'd thoroughly enjoy it.

Holy CRAP I have been so ungodly busy these past 2 weeks. I started the training for my new job and pretty much all I've done is work, come home and eat, then pass out. Not to mention a 7 day work week last week. Yesterday I had off but had family things to do so today I'm just chillin out not doing a damn thing.
It sucks, never having time for anything. Oh except Death Race. Cody convinced me to go see it Saturday night even though I was tired, cause we both had wanted to see it pretty badly. It was awesome mindless violence, I enjoyed it. Tonight I MUST work on my WoW exchange cause this is my last chance.
Also, Ashley is moving in with us this Friday because her (soon to be ex) fiance is a crazy bastard. Send us good thoughts because he really is a nut job, he does have guns and used to be a cop. He doesn't know what building we live in and this is a huge complex so I really hope he doesn't come looking. He's already threatened to kill her 3 times. I feel like such a D-bag because I've known for years that he was an abusive fuckhead and I never said anything to her. She swore she was happy and I know from experience she wouldn't have listened to me, but I still should have said something anyway. :( Good friends do that, and I was not a good friend. Though I did defend the hell out of her every time he acted like an ass to her around me. Which is probably why he hates me.

Part 1: The Birth of You
Were you a planned baby? I think so but I never really asked.
Who was present at your birth? I have no idea. My mom was, obviously. And some outfit of doctors.
Were your parents married when you were born? Yes
What is your birthdate? December 16, 1984
Part 2: The Family
How would you describe your family? Quirky but fun. I don't really talk to my dad's side of the family anymore. Too much energy to care for people that will never love you back.
Are your parents married? No
Siblings or an only child? Two older sisters, one 2 years older and one 7 years older.
If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest? Youngest
What are your siblings names and ages? Jessica, 26 and Jaime, 31 (or 25 if you ask her)
Which parent do you get along with best? My mom I guess since I actually talk to her.
What do you fight about? Nothing anymore.
Do you have step parents? Yep a stepdad. He's great.
Part 3: The Friends
Do you have more than one best friend? Yessss
Who are your best friends? Jess, Ashley, Cody, and a host of online buddies that saw me through more of my life than most people that I have here with me.
What do you like to do when you are together? Anything, I love spending time with all my peeps.
Do you share the same interests? Yes but each person shares something different with me/
Which friend can you tell anything to? Any of em. If I couldn't tell them anything then what would be the point :(
Part 4: Your Personality
How high/low is your self esteem? Eeeeeh it comes and goes. Sure I wish I weren't so heavy but my friends and family love me regardless. So why should I care, really? I do need to get healthy though.
Do you get depressed about things easily? Occasionally. But usually I have the opposite problem, and I just don't give a shit.
Are you an extrovert or and introvert? An introvert. I'm actually VERY quiet and shy around people I don't know.
Are you happy? I have a job I love, and am moving forward with it, I have amazing friends and a man that loves me unconditionally. Hell yeah I'm happy.
Do you live life to the fullest? I'm not jumping off bridges or anything but I don't let opportunities pass me up.
Part 5: Appearance
Are you comfortable with the way you look? Not really :(
What would you change about your appearance if you could? Lose some damn weight. >.<
Do you have any piercings besides your ears? My labret. :3
Describe your hair: Generally long with some short choppy layers.
What make-up do you wear? I don't. On rare occasion I will smear some crap on my face because honestly? Eye makeup is pretty. And that's the only reason, lol. But as I said that's like... almost never. But that's just even more time to waste getting ready when it really doesn't matter. I don't care what people think.
How do you dress? Like a bum. Lol! Usually just jeans and either a t shirt or some cute stupid shirt. Sometimes I just don't feel it though and go scrub pants and t shirt.
Part 6: The Past
Were you a strange child? I don't think I was strange. But I was a demon hellion.
What did you use to love that you no longer do? Erm... Mark Hamill?
Do you have the same friends? From what age? I...uh... what?
Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing? I'm with Mel, just call them "learning experiences"
Part 7: The Future
What is your ambition? To be a great doctor while maintaining a level of non-douchebaggery. I want to help animals, help people, families. I want to save the world.
Are you scared of growing old? No.
Do you want to get married? I do. Not right now, but hopefully not too much longer. :D
Part 8: The Outdoors
Do you prefer indoors or outdoors? Well see, this is Louisiana. There are about 5 days out of the entire year that you can go outside and not instantly wish for a swift death.
What is your favorite season? Fall
Weather? I like it nice and cool, about 70ish. Not cold but not warm.
Do you like walking in the rain? I loooove it.
Part 9: Food
Are you a vegetarian? Lawl. No.
What is your favorite food? Buffalo wings, sesame chicken, enchiladas. YUM. Now I want Posados.
What food makes you want to gag? Sushi.
What is your favorite dessert? Warm brownies with just a very small bit of vanilla ice cream. Apple pie, fudge.
What is your favorite restaurant? Recently, Buffalo Wild Wings.
Are you a fussy eater? Nooooo.
Part 10: Relationships and Love
Are you single or taken? Taken :')
If taken who is the lucky guy/gal? Erm... Cody?
Do you think love is the best feeling in the world? Love isn't just a feeling, it is a commitment. It's not always butterflies and squees, because you don't always like that person. But you commit yourselves to them, regardless.
Do you believe in love at first sight? Lord no.
Part 11: Experiences
What was one of your greatest experiences? I dunno. Really, everything's been great. I guess finally leaving David and Alicia. Never been so happy in my life since then. :D
What was one of your worst? Doesn't matter, not anymore. :)
Have you ever done drugs? No. >: (
Have you ever thought you were going to die? The time I choked on my Baja Blast in Maryland and couldn't breathe. xD that was funny though.
