Yes, grades are finally posted and I passed. It's no sweep like last quarter when I got all A's. But I passed all my classes, which was looking really questionable. I was sure I wasn't getting out of Cinematography with anything less than a D, but I got a C+. That was the hardest class that I have ever taken in my life. It's harder than all my economics, accounting, and calculus classes combined from my former life as a business major. I got B's in everything else, which again is shocking considering how much I slacked off.

This quarter, I have to focus more. lol I was biting my nails all week waiting for grades because I realize how lazy I was. It's not a good feeling.

On another subject, I have finger cramps from playing too much Guitar Hero. I love this game.

To those who have my subdomain bookmarked, yes, I deleted my Wordpress and set up a redirect to my LJ. I just don't need two different blogs and I prefer LJ.

Moved to Tumblr. It's actually pretty awesome now.

Finally, something has lived up to it's hype!

I got to play for the 1st time today. I'm an addict, officially. If I were rich, I would go out and buy a PS3 and Rock Band right now. It's just fun for no reason at all. haha

I also finally watched No Country For Old Men without falling asleep. I wish that I had. It did not live up to the hype at all. I'm a film major so I study and critique films on a regular basis. I understand what the story is about and what it means. I don't mind the way that it ended. It's just the things that they left out that makes me mad. Like, why did we NOT see Lou Ellen get killed? We've been with him for hours, at least give us the benefit of seeing him die. Did his wife live or did the psycho kill her? What was the point of him getting hit by the car at the end? To show that he's indestructable? If so, he needs to do more than walk away from a car accident. The Coen Brothers are assholes. They are officially in the same boat with M. Knight Shalayman for me. And I need to read the book now.

Film snobs make me want to vomit, btw. People can watch a movie and not know what is going on but swear up and down that they love it to death just because it won an Academy Award. Fuck the Oscars. A panel of old white men do not dictate what I will and won't enjoy.

Anyway, then we watched Kickin' It Old School. It was a cute movie. Definitely something that panel wouldn't get.

I bought a new camera yesterday because it was on sale and I desperately needed a new one. I loved my Fuji Finepix when I got it, but now it's just old and outdated. This one is cool. I think I love it... until I can afford something better anyway. =]

I'm amazed by how so much hype was built around this movie off of a 5 second trailer... if it was even that long! I think it was closer to two seconds. It didn't even have a name in the early days. I'm referring to the clip where the Statue of Liberty head hits the ground and then 1.18.08 pops up. Yeah, that's Cloverfield.

Anyway, I was fortunate enough to catch an advanced screening Wednesday night. I honestly don't know where to begin with this. I'm not saying don't go see it, but I can guarantee that it's not going to be what you expect at all!

I'm somewhere in between pissed, dissappointed, satisfied, and feining for more. lmfao

I had a major crush when I was younger. Like, 13? But it only lasted for about a week... maybe a month! lmfao It seems like it was so long ago, but he was only 25. It's scary to think of dying that young, and it's always sad whatever the circumstances. RIP Brad!
