» Butchering the incompetent.
After all the whining about the minnows ruining the World cup experience, Bangladesh gave India a lesson in ruthless execution with their outstanding bowling and fielding and equally belligerent batting. The young guns of Bangladesh also broke a few records on the way. That too when Sachin and Dravid put together had played more matches than the whole Bangladesh side !

Meanwhile Pakistan is on the plane back home after World Cup debutants Ireland outclassed them completely. Also Trent Johnston probably took the catch of the World Cup.

Go Minnows Go !!!

» The Reservation Farce
This reservation issue is just getting more and more deranged. The government has now decided to go ahead and implement 27% reservation. Hints of this happening were seen in Arjun Singh's interview with Karan Thapar a few days back. As if this was not enough, students from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir are demanding their own quota. Their demand - "Either give us reservations or secede PoK to Pakistan".

What comes to mind are the words from a placard from the student protesters at AIIMS, Delhi.

"We fought the British who divided us. Now whom do we fight ?"
