Well, my first day went well- and man is shopkeeping easier on the feet than waitressing! I was working with K, one of the full-time employees; she's retiring next year and spending her free time scuba diving with her granddaughter. I got the hang of the register pretty quickly, although I still balk when someone hands over a card- they're confusing! I saw three of my old workmates today and not a single one of them recognized me except for Agata, who only recognized me when she was buying something from the shop and I said her name. I think it's the hair.

Did I mention that I got my hands on some doxycycline? Hopefully my skin will clear up soon...

Helped a Spanish student figure out the laundry rooms in Baird House (ah, nostalgia! Not.), which was pretty much the most interesting part of the day. I go back on Thursday.

Now I need to go for a run and shower and have dinner so that Joe and I can go out.

I found two pounds at the bottom of my laundry basket!

So, today I went over to Rachel's to keep her company while she waited for a package to be delivered ("between the hours of 9 and 5", worst delivery company ever). We watched a documentary on St. Kilda and then spent some time going over our resumes, updating and editing them. Tomorrow I'm going to print off a few copies and go look for a second job.

Now, I'm packing all of my clothes up, and it looks like they'll fit into my big metal box, yay! Shouldn't be too heavy.
