SWORD!

So, this is my sword.

This is me and my sword. Yes, I am holding it - I tried to use a long ribbon as a sash but the katana didn't hang right, so I just had to hold it there with one hand. But still. ^_^

Drawn. Had to put the scabbard on the ground. >.< Stupid ribbon. And yes, the blade is edged and pointed.

I do the Kenshin thing where he draws his blade and cuts upwards in the same motion - four pictures one two three four

I have to put my katana away now. :(

Dad was nice enough to take the pictures for me with his digital camera, and made sure he stood well away from me when taking them. Yes, that is my backyard, you can even see the pool if you squint.

We tried to take a clip of me twirling the sword around - you know, where you hold it in one hand and twirl it in a circle - but the camera isn't that new. Stupid brick. :(

So, yeah. I have a shiny katana. Chas says I'm not allowed to be depressed/sad for at least a week, which means until next monday. Since he'll be leaving for Mt Barker next sunday, I don't see how this is possible, but eh. Maybe I'll just carry the katana around with me and hug it when I get sad. :P

I'm free....Thursday, and Saturday afternoon (tho that is my 21st, I can stop by your place after my batton and handcuffs course) and all Sunday.

So if you don't get your hair cut before then, it shouldn't be a problem.

And I thought I did, well, it's pretty simple. Just use a cloth and your breath is what I'd say, that's what I do. Polishing and what not, I don't know, but we can find out.

I'm blowing 500 on a daisho set for myself after christmas with all my X-Mas money, so I'll want to spiff that up all the time too.

	Uh... I get my hair cut saturday afternoon, so that's out. ...thursday sounds good - I don't have work until 1pm, and I finish work at 5:30, so it'll have to be early in the morning or in the evening at uni sometime. Okay, that sounds good. I'll find a scrap of felt around or something. ^_^ ...Don't you already have a katana and wakazashi? confused (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

I have a mismatching pair....the wakizashi I won at Ninjukai :)

This will be a slick matching set (pretty much the same colours as my current one, but this blade one be a little scratched, like mine got when Richard removed the edge so I could train with it) and a stand for them to rest on on my desk.

These ones will be for show, while my other two will be for training, as training with them lots will wear the material on the hilt down eventually, and they won't look that hot after a while ^_^

And Thursday morning it is, though you'll probably have to put my hair up for me, as I have no idea how to do that sort of thing :)

Or I can just go post battousai look :D

	It's fairly sharp, yeah :D I could have gotten Richard to blunt it for her before I gave it to her, but there's a risk the blade can get scratched down the side like mine did, and it ruins the slickness a little. So she'll just have to be careful ;) (Reply to this)(Parent)

	The sword ribbon ties to your martial arts belt, so it doesn't pull out as you draw, it doesn't tie around your waist ;) (Reply to this)(Thread)
