The guy who grew up watching his dad adore, pamper, and spoil his mother?

4) Sounds like "skipple."
5) "No, they don't really do that." Ben is my source here, and I hate to doubt him. But I still think they do. |

Not a lot of scattered thinking going on this week.
1) Sorta-yes? It probably had to be a little different to avoid copyright infringement. http://www.morinu.com/product/TofuHero.html
2) (Jennifer) Ashley Harper. |

| What is love? |
[Jul. 2nd, 2008|12:35 am] |
It's not caring if you eat crackers in my bed. It's a vegan buying $5-a-half-gallon deluxe chocolate cow milk because you never shut up about how good it is. Love is not wanting to watch you play Medal of Honor because it makes me sad when your dude gets shot. Love is banana pancakes, Ivyballs, and Benasaurus. Love is why I cried to myself--instead of killing you--on the Night of Much Mopping. It's the lakefill rock you don't know about yet. It's why I can get away with tickling you even after extracting your non-retaliation promises. It's that single garlic-stuffed olive that's been in the fridge for two weeks because we're both trying to leave the last one for the other.
Love is better when we're together (and all those other Jack-Johnson-isms). |

I tend to think waaaaay too much. Ask Ben. I've taken to keeping a wee notebook next to the bed to jot down the random, stupid questions I come up with when I should be thinking about things like "YAYSNUGGLES" or "BENISTHEBESTEST." Then, I look up the answers in the morning, Ben pretends to be interested (saint, that boy), and I'm posting them here... without the questions.
1) He could have been extradited without capital provisions if not for his dual citizenship. Ditto for Laurean.
2) The Dominion Theatre.
3) The whole thing is 25,000 acres.
4) He refused to get treatment for cancer.
5) George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
6) No, that was Bryan Adams.
7) A "c" with a vertical line through it. And I'm still not sure what the point is. |

To ponder the ifs and whens is only a distraction from living and loving in the here and now, this heady and chaotic present moment whose most exilhirating quality is its lack of certainty... confronted with a dazzling array of unknowns regarding my future, and yours, and ours together, i appreciate all the more the one thing of which i am sure: that i'm happy. |
