$5 each - two black box purses or make-up cases, SOLD one wood (left) and one metal (right, has inside mirror), OK condition.


$500 obo (seriously - make me an offer!) - Sears "Osgoode" black leatherette sofa (not quite a full sofa, not quite a loveseat - brilliant size for apartments). Not cheap vinyl - looks and feel exactly like real leather. 2 red microfibre cushions included, barely 2 months old, excellent condition. Retail price $599.99 new.


$40 obo - Sony AM/FM/CD car stereo, great condition, includes dashboard mount, detachable faceplate with carry case, remote, owners' manual & installation guide, approx. 6 yrs old but only used for 2.

In anticipation of moving again (June 29th), I'm getting rid of a *lot* of things to lighten my load (furniture, decor items, cookware, dishes, clothing, computer stuff, and more). They will mostly be of interest to local folks only, because there's a lot of large items:

I'm always thrilled to see how different people "interpret" my work - both the models and photographers. I think I've got to more of this sort of thing, not dictate what look I want and how. Just let 'em do their stuff the way they see fit, and see what I get. And I think this one has a lot of character. In fact I'm contemplating printing this one out at 13" x 19" as a poster for myself. :)

Blog purge.

I regularly remove people from my f-list when I cannot remember how I am connected to them, because they either a.) don't post often, b.) don't interact with me very often, or c.) have changed their LJ username. It is not personal; it is merely because I cannot keep up with everyone at the same time. If you have been removed (check my user info page to see if you're still there) and would like me to add you back, please leave a brief comment to this post.

And I should tell you that I have a whopper of a hangover today, so I'm not firing on all 3 cylinders. I may have accidentally removed a couple of people who should probably whack me on the side of the head and say "um, DUH, you know me from (X), ya doofus..." so I can add you back before I feel like too much of a tit.

Some of you have already seen this fun little gem from mbarrick's blog, but I thought I'd repost it here:



Michael took some photos of me in my new Kambriel limited edition flapper gown, and when showing them back to me on the camera's little screen when we were done, I thought they might make a cute short slide-show style video. And voilà!

Eventually I'll add some close-up photos to the store photo gallery to show off the special necklace and earrings I made to match it. There are an awful lot of photos to go through though, but I'll post a couple of the whole outfit (in regular colour) eventually as well so you can see the dress in detail.

[I don't normally post about fashion stuff here but this definitely a special case.]

For Christmas, Michael gave me THE MOST AMAZING GOWN - an incredible hand-trimmed 1920's style "flapper" dress with tiny glass seedbeads and ostrich feather trim that Kambriel made earlier this year for (specially for?) Convergence 13 in Portland. It's not the original, which was intended to be one-of-a-kind I think, but was slightly too big through the bust for me so this one was custom made to fit. I got to wear it in a photo shoot when we were at C13 and totally fell in love with it. kambriel really didn't want to part with it (can't say I blame her!) and seemed verrrrry reluctant to make a copy, so believe me, this one was a very freaking INCREDIBLE surprise!

FanGirl Alert!

Yet another digitally manipulated "stock" photo (from an artist on DeviantArt who has kindly posted gobs of stock photos for use with credit) of our favorite Potions Master. Personally I think this one is the best-rendered one I've done yet. This is image #3, of which series there may end up being 5 in total. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to bother with the last 2, but who knows. It's a nice cheap escape from making jewlery so it depends on the next time I need a break. :P
