A Fragrant Seashore

12:26 am - So staying up all night didn't help as much as I thought.
I woke up the next morning on the couch, to my friend asking me if I had class. I'm like, "HDfeorffhh.... Maybe."
He says I better get up 'cause it's 7:17.
Now, when you're more than halfway awake, that sentece seems very innocent. Why did I care what time it was? 7:17 didn't really click in my mind that I had class in 20 minutes.
So ten minutes later, hes like, "dude get up!"
I'm like, "Listen, I lied, I don't have class today."
He goes, "Are you sure?"
And I'm like, "I only have class when you have class!"
and hes like, "I'm going to class right now!"
That got my attention. I had to ask him what day it was. xD!
Such a funny morning.

IM STAYING UP ALL NIGHT.
Just for the hell of it. I figure if I can do it, then I'll sleep mad good tonight and be able to get up early for class tomorrow.
:D Hoorah for fucking up sleeping patterns.

09:39 pm - RFAD
I watched Requiem for a Dream last night with the guys. Damn, it was amazing. The way they filmed it, first of all, was orgasmic in itself. And the storyline dealt purely with the human mind and what people will do for their addictions.
Its an awesome psychological movie. I ripped it onto my mac. :D
Also, Rihanna made an acoustic version of Umbrella and its fucking AMAZING.

02:29 am - Oh dear God.
I found a site that has TONS of unreleased Third Eye Blind songs.
I HAVEN'T HEARD THESE BEFORE! GOD ITS LIKE I'M REDISCOVERING LIFE!
THEY MAKE ME FEEL SO GOOD! OH DEAR GOD.
I'm in heaven.

09:23 pm - First class: Computer Sciences
The teacher wants us to call her Bird.
She also said she doesn't use the textbook the school "requires" her to use, so I got a 100 store credit! I'm gonna spend some of it on an Ai Hoodie. (Cause they have sweet hoodies) I'll save the rest of it for a time that I desperately need art supplies and have no money.
I think Monday will be spent putting in more applications for jobs. I applied at express, but I can't guarantee they'll call me back.
Anyway, the class is seriously easy. Little to no homework. She said most of our assignments will be done during class. I mean, the one we had today was an internet scavenger hunt. We had to look up train schedules and pictures and shit. Easyyy.
Color Theory tomorrow. That should be an interesting day. We all have it together, at least.

04:31 pm - Ahh...
It seems like now that I've got so much to write about, I don't feel like writing it. Haha.
Ben and I were walking around Philly with my other roommate, Stephen. We went to Written House Square, which as far as I can tell is the largest park in Philly. Its still pretty small. This whole city feels so miniature in comparison to NYC.
We went through Chinatown, also. Pretty interesting stuff.
Ben and I took a few pics in Love Park. Not really a park as much as a small plot of land with a fountain in the middle. What these people consider a park is very much different from what I consider to be a park.
There was this building near Love Park that had these game piece sculptures all over the place. We took pictures with the Monopoly iron and wheelbarrow, plus a few ches and Sorry pieces. There were four dominoes, one fully upright, one leaning, and two on the ground. They were pretty freakin sweet.
Stephen took us to his ghetto pad where all his friends live. Theyre all stoners.
We honestly have such a diverse dorm. We've got the token black guy, Roger.
The gay guy, myself.
The Father figure, Ben.
The Graffitti artist, Mike.
The stoner, Stephen.
And the tattoo guy, Jon.
Jezz we need our own sitcom.
I feel like this is where I belong.

So, I now live in Philly. It really is an amazing city. We're probably oing to do some cool shit tonight, see some of it, y'know?
Roger, Jon, and Ben are all really fuckin awesome. We played poker last night, and we went out a couple times. They're gonna be my new best friends. Steven is kind of a pothead, though. I don't really have a problem with it, until he starts doing it here, which I wont stand for.
The other guy, I forget his name for now, Kind of floats in and out. I'm honestly not sure what I think of him, because I havent really hung around him all that much.
Things are looking great!
We've got our orientation today, where we get our IDs and such.
Our dorm is kind of ghetto. The thermostats broken, so its always freezing in here, and the shower in one of the bathrooms doesn't work properly. We're hoping we can get maintenance up here, but so far they've been all talk and no action. We'll see how that goes.
WOOOOO iiM A COLLEGE BOiii

04:49 pm - Keys and Mice
So I've decided that I intensely dislike the Mac keyboard. The keys are juist so inset, its hard to tell where I am when I'm typing. Although, now that I', used to it, my other keyboard feels so clunky and hard to use. GUH
I'M DEFF GETTING FED UP WITH THE THINK PAD, THOUGH. I've always hated those things so much. A mouse is just so much easier to maneuver.
An now I cant decide which keyboard I like better! I'm going back and forth right now, and I guess the Mac one is a lot less clunky. The caps lock key is still not my friend, though. You have to hit is REALLY HARD or it won't turn on. -_-

So, I talked to one of the guys I'll be dorming with. He was the only one who was able to gt his hands on phone numbers. He doesnt think hes supposed to know, but he kept bugging his counsellor anyway.
THERE IS SIX OF US!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!
EDIT: I just ran around my house a couple times. That proves how happy I am.

11:36 pm - Writer's Block: Your Costume
I'd probably wear something detailed and complex. White and Green. With lots of straps everywhere.
It'd probably consist of a vest-jacket combination, with bug cuffs. long, white pants with a green racer stripe down one of the legs.
It'd be something fun. :D

12:50 am - Ohh,
I feel so centered, so at peace with the world. I took an amazing bubble bath, with tons of salts and fizzing stars. (I also did a few unmentionable things, which I'll spare you all from hearing about.)
My skin feels softer, and I feel more relaxed. I was starting to get frustrated with little things, and now all those problems are just so miniscule now.
It just brings things into perspective. I'm even breathing more deeply now. I put on my chillout mix just now, and it's helping even more.
Tell me about things you do to relax.

10:14 am - Everything loads so much faster...
I'm so happy.
Anyway, I'm rediscovering Malice Mizer. They're songs are just so amazing.
I'm going over to best bargain books sometime soon to grab the last twilight book. (It will be a little weird, considering i don't own any of the others lol)
I'm hoping everyone went to borders or something for a midnight release, and that Best Bargain will still have some available.
I tried to continue reading Tsubasa, but I've kind of lost my interest. I'm going to finish off what's on onemanga.com and then see how I feel about it then.
What I really want is a full anime. Manga has always been confusing to read for me. Not because its backwards or anything, but because everything is in b&w, so its hard to tell what things are sometimes.
An anime would really help me.

12:16 pm - ldnf`
So right now, I'm pretty much just killing time on my Mac until I have to go to work. Still debating whether or not to bring it to work... I probably won't, but I really want to.
My printer I got with the computer didn't come with a cable to connect it to the computer. I know, it sounds stupid, but I checked the manual, and it said it 'May be included'.
My mom said she'd pick one up for me when she goes out later.
I'm still trying to think of all the things I have to download. I got FireFox. That was the very first thing. From there, I got Photoshop, the Microsoft Suite, and Limewire.
I was also able to find a program that retrieves all the music from my iPod and puts it on my computer, so now I don't need to fuss with my [broken] computer to try and get all my music back.
I'm content.

10:06 pm - POSTING FROM MY MACBOOK
BITCHESS! My own, personal, Mac.
I feel sexy. :D
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS THING DOES? It knows that when I touch the pad with two fingers, I want to scroll down the page. HOW FUCKING CONVENIENT IS THAT!?
ecstatic08:58 pm - Writer's Block: What happened to you today?
I decided to go to College a semester early, and I bought new shoes.

I've been going to the beach every single chance I get, and It's showing! I'm working up a really great tan, and I'm really excited.
( The bottoms of my hands are a different color than the tops. )

kono mama zutto yuku no ne uso o tsumikasanete mo | You are always going like this, and even if you pile on the lies |

12:08 am - Guh.. I woke up for this
I was just trying to drift into sleep, when I was hit with a small realization. I enjoy music by people who I wouldn't likee in real life.
I mean, if I went to High School with Thom Yorke, I would think of him as a little over-the-top, and would secretly muse about how ridiculous he was.
And Stephen Jenkins, lead singer of Third Eye Blind, I would probably classify as a world-class stoner, and I would be rather Egotistical in my thoughts of him, if I didn't know him well.
These are two of my very favorite bands, and yet this is honestly what I would think of them if I didn't love their music. I just think it's kind of interesting.
