Tonight on Underground Communique, we welcome the Groodies, who will be playing live at some point between 11pm and 2am. Tune in to 88.7 FM on the northside or www.wluw.org everywhere else.

the Groodies are a hybrid of the Distillers, the Misfits and the Lunachicks, while siting bands like Vice Squad, L7, the Plasmatics and the Avengers as influences.

The new Rollo Tomasi album is out and there'll be a listening party at Club Foot Tuesday, Dec. 6th. be sure to stop by and pick up a copy.

We're going to start airing old performances through the winter months as a "From the Archives" series, because winter is cold and I hate dragging my LP's out in this weather, so this is a good opportunity to revisit some of the better live performances over the last three years. Last week we aired Heads Vs. Breakers and the week before that, we aired Eske (live on Reality Radio). In the coming weeks, we'll have re-broadcasts of Sweet Cobra, I Attack, Suicide Note, etc.
