Eggsellent!

Today is the big day at work we've been busting our tails for the last few weeks. Sales teams from around the country are here to look over our new products and designs for 2006. Fortunately I don't have to do anything but sit and look pretty (and wear a tiara...don't ask).

Picked up these dandy toys at Meltdown this past weekend:

A cute touch is the egg figures from the Disney movie Chicken Little above came complete in an egg carton (packaging is half the battle, GI Joe). I don't really care to see the movie itself, but the vinyl figures they've created for the movie are fantastic and extremely cute. Ms. Bitters from Invader Zim is fantastically crafted, yet fairly priced. And how could I pass up a figure that comes with a rotten, worm-filled apple?

The mustache on Bitters is molded in? :D
Yeah, its molded onto her cratchety, withered face. I might go back and get a few others from the series...they're really keen toys.
miss bitters!!!!!

we bought m's coworker, who is zim-obsessed, a set of 4 zim action figures from hot topic. then we discovered that there are two versions, the "hot topic exclusive" and.... the other one. which one did you get?
I picked up the non-Hot Topic version. Some of the exclusives are pretty cool too. Hehe, I haven't even seen Zim...I just liked the character design :)
awesome. :)

oh, you must see invader zim! do you have netflix? they have all 3 volumes of dvds!
Wow! Those figures from Chicken Little are very good for domestic stuff. I wonder if they were designed here or somewhere else?
Yeah, they're fantastic. You should see the larger vinyl Chicken Little doll they were selling next to the eggs. I nearly bought that also, but limited myself since I knew I wanted to get something at the GR2 art show later that evening.
zim!
How could you indeed! I like Mr. Bitters! :D
