"You can have it cheap, fast, or good. Pick two."
I do believe it is highly applicable, perhaps even relevant to my interests. |

First, write down the names of 12 characters. Then read and answer the questions. You can't look at the questions (or click on the cut) until you write down the 12 characters you're going to use.
1. Grimmjow Jaggerjaques (Bleach) 2. Martin the Warrior (Redwall Series) 3. Orihime Inoue (Bleach) 4. Ishida Uryuu (Bleach) 5. Chado/Sado (the awesome Mexican) Yasutora (Bleach) 6. Rangiku Matsumoto (Bleach) 7. Wind in his Hair (Dances with Wolves) 8. Rufio (Hook) 9. Mal (Firefly/Serenity) 10. Tsunade (Naruto) 11. Claire (Claymore) 12. Mrs. Frisby (…and the Rats of NIHM)
I’m sure I’ve spelled at least one of those wrong…

Close to home, there. Neat site. Odd to think that within a half an hour of an earthquake that happened at 10:18 at night, 126 people had given reports to this website on how they experienced it. I for one didn't even know the site existed until about 10:40. Mostly I was looking for someone to confirm that was what I'd felt, that it wasn't a neighbor hanging pictures a half hour after 'quiet hours...'

| | Marcy Playground-Saint Joe | ] | Kicked off my birthday by baking chocolate-chip muffins and making real coffee. Walked Tori to school, came back, blasted the neighbors and scared the cat and myself before getting the music to an appropriate volume. Today, life gets a soundtrack, and it plays what I want it to.
My mom always did the best birthday parties while I was growing up. Really really. But what I really like about the last few years is how I've learned to make my own day. That right there is a life skill.
P.S.- the secret of the muffins is, you need someone to share them with! |

"Interview" lasted 5 minutes. Guy had a thick sheaf of applications, and he's hiring one new employee. Don't think my chances are all that great. Time to go fill out applications at Barnes and Nobles and the other two Starbucks and Olympic Coffee. |

| | frustrated and sad | ] | So, apparently Robert Jordan died a day or two ago. I just barely found out, thanks to Something Positive. I'm not gonna pretend it's like losing a family member, losing a part of me, that the world will never be the same- but it is still pretty depressing. I want to meet my favorite authors. Now there's another one that I never will. I always thought he'd be really cool, too. Autographs won't mean anything if I buy them on eBay for a hundred dollars, either. I just...kinda want to mourn a little, becaues even if I didn't know him, I knew his books, and they were good friends to me, and there really won't be any more now. But at the same time, I hate anything that reeks of the whole celebrity death-fuss. "OMG Princess Di died! This is a terrible tragedy!" Well, yeah, anytime someone goes before their time is a tragedy, isn't it? Like all those starving children in third-world countries? Nobody sends them mounds of flowers when they die. No "Candle in the Wind." No best-selling biographies or conspiracy theories.
Going to a job interview of sorts later on. Starbucks. Just a little part-time to keep me busy and earn a little on the side. Save for plane tickets to Japan, a little fun money, mostly. Wish me luck? |

| | fzzbbuzzbuzzbuzzzzbuzzz | ] | man I've been away a while.
Hopefully now that I've subscribed to ff anbu, I'll remember to come on more often. The stuff is total crack to my crackmonkey (where've i used that expression lately...? I know I have.) and no doubt makes my day better while simultaneously worries the neighbors that someone is having a bizaare medical issue upstairs at 3am. there is much laughing til I choke, and bizaare sounds that happen when you try to muffle laughter that is too explosive to be muffled, and start your nose and eyes running with hilarity at the same time.
Lots of run-on confusingness. I'm back to a semi insomniac schedule, or at least slowly becoming nocturnal. I blame Casey having to work the night shift. It seriously throws me and has been shifting me over hte last couple of weeks. |

It feels so good. I finally paid off the last of the credit card debt that I ran up last summer for plane tickets. It's just gotta finish processing now. I won't use that card again. One step closer to wrapping up my account with NEFCU. When I lived there, it was great, but it's just not gonna work as we drag around the country, not to mention that little "oops, all your information got stolen" incident. Wish I could stick with local credit unions. I'm really not happy with Bank of America, but it's everywhere I want to be, and Navy Fed and Citizens seem like they're even worse. |
