Be Kanye Now

Oddly tacky yet amusing. I'd rather the Bus and subway ads better, although the series of group photos rank up there in lolsville

I has a Nano! And it's Bluuuu!

Unfortunately nobody had the 16 gig in stock, but hey... the 8 gig is just as blue XD

And besides, a good third is of podcasts, which will be rotated through frequently.

The shake to shuffle is mad hot! Unfortunately I turned it off as I foresee a lot of cursing on my part as the iPoot will change songs on me as I run to catch the bus XD

And yes, I named it iPoot

Buffy the Vampire Slayer “Conversations with Dead People” Board

This is not a toy people, nor should this be marketed as a tie-in. Seriously, I will not be surprised to hear of people getting into paranormal trouble because of this.

Politics of the Plate: Salmongate

Hands off my salmon too )

Gotta love the commentators on the original article wonder wtf does this have to do with Haute Cuisine? Well gee... would you like toxins in your broiled salmon tonight?

Morons. Of course everything is related in one way or another.

Which reminds me... I need to figure out what's for dinner now

Navy: SEALs should not have been recognized at RNC

Good going there, Homeboy )

Thanks to McCain and Palin, I now know exactly where I stand in politiks. Special thanks to Palin for finally getting me off my duff to see whether or not my vote makes a difference (which I doubt, because we're not the Electoral College, after all). We all want to break the glass ceiling, but not at the price of losing our ability to choose.

You're pro-life? Good for you. But don't put your beliefs into my ovaries. I had issues with how things are now, I cannot fathom how things will turn out with you in the sidecar of the presidency. I can already see how well your abstience policy works in your household *eyeroll*

So yes. Congrats. I'm going to Vote Obama/Biden. And so far, almost everyone in my office is going that way too. I'm not committing myself to being a Democrat yet, but I know now I am definitely not a Republican.

I am the Ancient Greek God:
Hestia Greek Gods Quiz

Hestia is the Goddess of hearth (more widely as cooking), and family. A hearth is a fireplace used in cooking and/or heating and symbolizes how a family centers around for food and warmth. Furthermore, public hearths broadened Hestia's importance with extended families that were not directly of the same blood. Hestia is one of the three Great Goddesses, but gave up her seat to maintain the sacred fire on Mount Olympus. She was considered as the first and last born by Rhea and Chronus. This is because after the initially birth, Hestia (as with other primary Gods) were swallowed-up again by Chronus, only to reborn later. Although she is known to be passive and non-confrontational, she was important due to her association to the home and the hearth, which are both essential to man.

Hestia is known for the health and the home

I'm finding myself watching more and more PBS lately. So it dawned on me that there must be tons of podcasts that I can throw onto my mp3 player.

So thus I have finally downloaded the iTunes propaganda :p

Being one of short attention span or being one that's too drawn in, I'm opting to feed the short attention span, lest I miss my bus stop/ train station.

So now I have tons of shit to feed my brain. Including properly learning my ethnic Catonese, relearning Spanish, learning Mandarin, Japanese, Korean and Greek (!!). AND then there's them video podcasts.... of which I am considering either Nano or iPod Classic. Budget wise I'm probably going to opt for the cheapest Nano and swap shit around.

And now... I'ma gonna prep myself for the first day of OMGWTFBBQHAZMAT at work

So I arranged to have today and Friday off, to use up the excess annual leave hours. I have a check I have to deposit. Today would've been a fantastic day to do that and hit some 99 cents stores for household supplies.

Of COURSE the skies would have to open up and pour down right now. -sigh-

I really got to get used to Hubband's new midnight to 8am shift.

Mostly cuz the two furballs are used to 6am nomnoms.

So imagine my groggy WTF? when I thought I was dreaming a kid calling out "mommy"

Turned out LumpKat added some extra enuncation to her meow... I guess that beats her face to face "Hai U up yet?" wake up manuever XD

And speaking of the Hubband. I am veddy proud of him. He's kept up the workouts he had to do while in training and is even taking vitamins! (OMG!)

Downside is that it is now more difficult for me to outrace him/outpower him :(

It sucks! XD

meh!
