Colourbar: Bleach
I don't know what hit me but I suddenly have the urge to make a colourbar for my secret Bleach ship, Yoruichi/Soi Fong. *runs away from the the many many Urahara/Yoruichi fans* XD



Yoruichi x Soi Fong is I'll die for you, Yoruichi-sama love!



This is probably the first f/f pairing that I support so openly. But I find Soi Fong's adoration/crush on Yoruichi is so damn cute. XD

Heh. Actually, your community was what inspired me to make this colourbar. (I found out about the comm like... 2 days ago. XD) I never knew there are actually such dedicated fans for this pairing. :D

I can see Urahara/Yoruichi. They're a very interesting pairing. But when I read those Yoruichi/Soi Fong chapters, I turned all mush inside and termed them as my secret (or not-so-secret anymore) ship. ^^;

And I honestly don't really see what the conflict with YoruSoi and UraYoru is. Yoruichi just--does not strike me as a monogamous character. At all. She is the PIMPKITTON.

Woo boy, YoruSoi must be like one of the very few pairings out there I actually loathe :O Much fault for that is because I really can't stand Soi Fong. Not even a little.

Unohana/Isane is much more obvious femmeslash, I wonder why no one ships them :O *flees*

Hmmm....good point. I'm not into the whole slash thing of any gender but certain thoughts do come to mind, picking things up wondering if someone will put whom ever together. Those two were one of the thoughts.

Actually, I was serious :O It's just that, well, I feel bad since <lj-user="twinbells"> likes it and all ^^; But yes, my main problem with the pairing is Soi Fong, I usually don't ship anything if I don't like one of the characters.

I can't say I'm <i>into</i> slash either... I just like the pairings I like. Most of them are het, but that's because I usually go by canon. But anyway, my point was that just because Unohana and Isane are not hot ninja chicks they get no love xP

Thought it'd be a good time to mention it since I'm watching #76 right now but dare I say that I've become addicted to One Piece. *gaspu!* I'll probably be making an entry in the coming week or so regarding that series along with a huge rant about what the US release has done to it that many ppl may not know. (I'm so furious about it, I could piss fire!)

Really, it's so undervalued compared to other Jump mangas like Naruto or Bleach ;___; People get thrown off because of the "peculiar" art and maybe because its childish looks, when OP is really so much more, a marvelous piece of narration <3 Are you reading the manga? The anime is actually one of the best adaptations I've ever seen (except for some filler eps), but I prefer the manga much more (like it's usual with me) ^^;

I threw aside One Piece only because by the time I decided I want to give it a try, it was already 300+ chapters long! Gah! It'll take FOREVER to find/buy all the chapters/volumes, let alone read them all. *hides*

I don't know... I feel she has totally disregard for everything that's not herself... like her subordinates, Rukia's fate or Soul Society as a whole. And I don't buy the whole "omg, I turned into a bitch because you abandoned me!" stuff ^^; Sorry!

Really? She strikes me as having some very selfless aspects--in the flashbacks, she is clearly willing to sacrifice herself without hesitation for Yoruichi's sake.

She has two primary concerns as I see it: one, Yoruichi, and two, The Rules. I go into more detail in my essay on the pairing.

Mind you, this doesn't mean she's perfect. On the contrary, her obsessions with Yoruichi and The Rules double as both strengths and flaws. But I think this makes her interesting.

A lot of people don't agree with me, though, as she's one of the most-bashed characters in Bleach fandom, or at least what I see of it, after Rukia and Aizen.

I actually didn't know she was bashed... I haven't ever bashed her in public (or in my journal even, however I do admit of voicing my dislike in real life conversations xP). I have seen the latest trend of Rukia!bashing though... and I guess with Aizen it's just normal, since he's the bad guy and all ^^;

For the record, I did read your ship manifesto (I have a thing for rants and essays, no matter if it's about something I support or not), it was well exposed and I have no doubt about Soi Fong's feelings (Yoruichi's are another issue altogether). I can see why some people would like her -- but she's just not my type of character at all. And thus I can't pair Yoruichi (whom I like a deal lot more) with her. It's just me ^^;
