1.) What type of hair do you have? (Thin, Normal, Thick, Frizzy, etc.)
I think it's normal. Quite straight when it's short, but when it's long it starts to wave just below the jawline. Thank GOD for ceramic straighteners.

2.) What color is your hair currently?
Mostly black with white and purple panels (see userpic).

3.) What colors have you dyed/highlighted your hair?
Various shades of red, black, pink, blue, purple, and blonde.

4.) If you could dye your hair any color, what would it be?
Hahaha, I think my answer to 3 proves that I don't live in the world of 'if' :p

5.) What is your hair's length?
The front is just passed my jawline. The back is still quite short from spiking it, but I'm growing it out for a bit.

Me in my new Horde t-shirt. Jandelval's sword is cooler than mine :-(

I randomly found the Mana energy potion at the comic book store downtown. It's mana-rific ;-)

Loudtwitter is really sucking these days. I know I don't update that often, but it really sucks when they don't update over here like they should...

Since my tweets didn't come through, I should at least tell you that I saw The Dark Knight with Rob last night (and loved it) and that some child just now asked me if I was goth. I told him that I was a bit goth, but reassured him I was the good kind :p

Friday Five

1. If you could change one life-changing event in the life of someone important to you, would you?
That depends. I think my general rule would be no for emotionally life-changing and yes for physically negative life-changing. My reasoning is as follows: I think surviving anything emotional can only make you stronger (bad breakup, loss of a loved one, etc) and are generally a part of life. I used to volunteer with a guy who was in a horrible car accident. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt and when the car he was riding in (not driving) hit a telephone pole, he went through the windshield. Now, although he appears to be physically healthy, he suffers from brain damage and has lost much of the social awareness and functionality that most of us take for granted. For his family, it must have been devastating to lose a large portion of who he was without losing the body that contained him.

2. Which do you think is easier to do, being friends for many years, or being life partners for many years?
I really don't know what to say. Most of the long-term friendships I have I owe to the other parties being so understanding of how anti-social I can be at times... I think, for some reason, these people have wanted to be my friend so badly that they've ensured the friendship remained somewhat in-tact. This doesn't mean that I don't value my friendships, just that I can be a bit difficult at times...

I dunno, maybe life partners, because of the level of commitment? I've never been one to remain friends after breaking up, but that's usually because I could never get out of a crummy long-term relationship early enough to have any friendship left over worth saving. Plus, most of them turned out to be jerks :p

3. Have you ever walked away from someone you considered a friend?
Yes. I'm pretty sure I put all of my current best friends through the emotional ringer at least once or twice. There are a few with whom I stopped being friends with (usually over a guy, in my misguided youth) and luckily, I've managed to recover a few of those friendships.

4. If you had to choose between telling the truth and hurting a friend or lying and making them happy, which would you choose?
Truth. But I might be tempted to lie for a bit if the timing wasn't right.

5. Which would you rather hear--the truth which will hurt, or the comforting lie?
Truth. Being lied to is the worst (says the hypocrite).
