amand_r sez: I rarely read a post Epilogue in which Ginny isn't horrifically OOC. The author always needs to get Ginny out of the way so that Harry and Snape can get it on, so they have Ginny divorce Harry, or cheat on him, or become a shrewish character that no one in their right mind would ever associate with Ginny Weasley. Most ot the time these authors do their best to show how UNHAPPY Harry is with Ginny, (you know, because his needs can ONLY be satisfied by Snape WTF?) This author is more than generous in her positive portrayal of Harry and Ginny's relationship before Snape comes in. It's refreshing to see, since I think one of my pet peeves is when an author sacrifices characterization just so they can manipulate their OTP together. Whatthefuckever.

So over in Harry Potter fandom, it's that time of the year again when all the Harry/Snape shippers bask in the fountain of fics known as the Snarry Games.
