Wow.. and some people said DDR isn't going to die.

So let me get this straight.

Let's say DDR Player A has played DDR in the arcade for 2 years.. and has 35 AAAs after spending quite a bit of time with the game.

DDR Player B has been playing DDR for 6 months and plays mostly at home. Due to pretty much being able to full combo everything on SN2 with the obvious exceptions of stuff like Paranoia Hades and whatnot has 60 some AAAs.

How the hell does this work.

I mean given I have not played DDR seriously in over 3 years but christ I had 20 AAAs and I'm pissed at this.

I can see it now.. home players trying to jump into the AAA threads.

I think its not even this fact that really irks me.

People wonder why I say DDR should have ended with Extreme. Its not because I'm being a prick about it or that because the community has basically killed itself off with the amount of morons that play the game now. That doesn't bother me one bit.

What bothers me is what you just read. DDR has fucked itself.

DDR was the one Bemani where you either had complete accuracy or you just got an AA like everyone else.

Supernova 2 now gives you leeway for grading? Jesus christ you aren't losing your player base so why spit in the face of EVERY TECH PLAYER who has played this game for years and MADE THIS GAME IN THE US POPULAR AND BOOSTED YOUR SALES BY 100 FOLD. It just doesn't make sense.

I am so glad they havent touched a single thing with Pop'n or IIDX. Thank god for that. And thankfully after the trainwreck that IIDX US was we will hopefully never see another US release of it.

At least they still have some Bemani that will be a challenge to people and not give them some false sense of accomplishment.

Btw this is just a rant. I can't believe I actually cared about DDR so much to actually post this. Its just kinda lame I guess
