Generally, I really do not have a lot to say for the public view despite my being an extrovert as well as an opinionated, snarky and sassy bitch some days. =^n.~^= Alas, I find myself rudely awakened and unable to go back to sleep, as well as bored at this grand and finally quiet hour of 4:30am.
Normally I am accustomed to waking up at 5:00am or so for work, and I rarely sleep well, so being up early is nothing new. Quite simply, I am just irritated at the 20 or so drunk people that converged at 3:00am out in the parking lot trying to convince each other to "hit me" as the tall, string bean white kid keeps shouting. Even I am starting to think that hitting him is a good idea to shut that obnoxious trap of his. However, I am blessed with some form of common sense and decided to call the police instead. /laff Ooooh despite the sudden bull horn of "This is the police" yadda yadda yadda, it was funny as hell to watch those people run away shrieking and stumbling on each other and every uneven surface available to them.
Hmm, I should probably post more, but my life really is boring and consumed with work, going for walks, leading a guild in WoW, relationships and my hermit crab (Sparky). Oh, and I have been going to see a lot of movies as of late -- which is nice because for once in my life, I am actually up to date on American pop-culture... sort of.
Work is boring yet necessary while I try to accomplish something and finally decide "What I want to be when I 'grow up.'" Personally, I hope to never truly grow up now that I know what it's like to let myself be free and live a little, but I like money, so a little bit of grown up is required of me.
WoW I could likely ramble on about for hours on the topic of e-drama, power-leveling friends that are transferring from servers and switching from horde to alliance, "rep-farming" and who knows what else. I'll save you the utter dork-dome of that though since I know that none of my friends here have much of an inclination to hear about the expansive social structure of an MMO. /laff (again)
Currently, I miss my dog a lot. I miss going out for walks, giving her treats , just paling around and hell, even in this heat I miss her stealing the blankets and pillows... and the bed. I have Sparky though! and he's a moving menace in a sea snail shell. lol Most finicky damn thing I have seen but hilarious to watch. I finally got him to stop molting, and now it's like watching a little kid with ADHD... or a train wreck. Either way, I can't seem to turn away when he suddenly climbs up his plastic palm trees and takes a flying leap at the coconut-bark wall for some exercise... or when he decides to use his sponge in his fresh water dish as a cool and convenient landing on days like this past week have had.
As for movies that I have somewhat recently seen, the list is as follows: Superman Returns, Over the Hedge, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Monster House (I'm sure that there are more, but they were so lacking that I cannot remember what it is I watched).
Superman I was actually disappointed in -- despite the acting being absolutely phenomenal from Spacey. The story had too much unnecessary things -- sadly, Spacey's character was one of those things -- which really detracted from the movie. The CGI was just 'ok' and that's about it besides Brandon Routh being the sexy-dorky eye candy I enjoy.
Over the Hedge was likely the first worthwhile film of the summer movie season. It was funny, smart, and excellently animated, not to mention that it appealed to most members of the audience on different levels. Lessons learned from that movie: ADHD squirrels should only drink energy drinks in extreme emergencies and Avril Lavigne fails at playing herself as badly as the forever-kirk does.
Pirates: Aaaaawesome, I want to see if again, and I want the next movie now please. The sword play and choreography were so much better this time around and the CGI was even better and yay for a continued cast (although Depp seemed to be a bit less Savvy this time around. /cry Although, who can go wrong when carrying a glass container of dirt around with you? lol).
Monster House: For some reason, this movie was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Highly amusing, well animated. I wish that there was more I could say about it besides that it was really good and I wish they would have waited until closer to Halloween to bring it out.
I suppose that's it for now, and I'll see if I can remember to post anything more often. =^n.~^= |

Well, I went to Florida :for my birthday," but it was anything but a vacation.
It was more like trying to desperately hold on to all of those happy memories from child hood when you come face to face as an adult with a grand parent who has either gone severely down hill or was just always this way and you never realized it. I choose to believe that my grandmother has just severely gone down hill although some of the things I ran across are obviously things that have been an issue for a very long time (and should not be unexpected).
Really though, maybe it was just that when I was younger I didn't realize that my grandmother was going deaf, blind, is paranoid about everything (especially about large, black men breaking into wherever she is staying and smothering her with a plastic grocery bag), is a rather large racist, and as is normal with most geriatrics... she is obsessed with her lack of health. Oooh lord and someone needs to take away her drivers license. "Stop telling me to drive straight into a car," was one of the repetitive phrases of the week.

Yep, the entire "vacation" pretty much went on like that. The highlights of my vacation were sleeping in my own room, watching a fox hunting frogs by the pool and getting drunk with a bunch of greeks that were dressed up like pirates. I can't remember much of the later but that was when I went souvenir shopping and it shows. |

Hmm moving again (I'll be in Portland now). I hate moving soooooo much. lol At least I've gotten rid of a ton of crap (yet again), and almost all of my things are packed up. Just have my clothing and a few dishes and then off I go! Besides that, not a lot of news.
Hmm in WoW there is a crazy female who tries to scare away all the girls in the guild if they even talk casually to this guy she likes (HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND WOMAN GOOD LORD GET A LIFE). She's psycho, I swear. She knows that he has a girlfriend, and my word is she psycho. Pif at her though, I refuse to leave the guild because someone is a stalker and a psycho. After all, I was TECHICNIALLY THERE FIRST, and these are MY FRIENDS that I have know for TWO YEARS. pifffff good lord.

Wow... work was really boring today. lol Despite there being only three people as opposed the the regular six (three called in sick), there really wasn't much to do... we even *gasp* gossiped with each other and didn't do much else. =^>.>^= But hey! I was paid to do it D:!!!
hmmm in WoW news, I have discovered the awesomeness of the horde. =^T.T^= They have it so bloody easy it's not even funny. The only place I have run into trouble is in Hillsbrad... and good lord, I swear it was the same raid going on for two days straight. xDDDD It's still really weird to see a Night Elf of Dwarf attack me. =^C_C^= It's like WHOA BUDDY I'M ALLIA-err nvm *dies*. lol Everywhere else I have gone though the alliance leaves horde alone. D: WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!! WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO GANK ME? D:!!!!! Wait no, I don't want to be ganked all the time, but still!!! I'm not used to this not having to run, hide, sneak attack all the time stuff D:!!!
Let's seeee going out to brunch wih friends tomorrow morning, no idea where we are going to, but it's all good. lol mmm I think one of my hermit crabs molted but stayed in his own shell because he's like twice the size he was when we got him (Charlie). lol Sparky is a little bigger and we think he is going to molt and change shells soon because he keeps burrowing pretty far down into the substrate.... for some reason, he likes moving and burrying himself under the salt water dish. =^O.o^= Crazy Sparky! <3<3<3 |

Hmmm been a while since an update. Let's see....
I was sick for a while (woo big surprise there lol), sick for a week before X-mas, sick over X-mas and then a bit after. I'm feeling much more human now though. Still playing a lot of WoW too. Mmmm, we have some new additions to our household: Charlie and Sparky. Those two are my new pets (hermit crabs) and they are sooo cute. =^;_;^= Charlie is a smeepy and lazy hermit crab with a Playboy bunny insignia shell (lol) and sparky is a feisty little bugger in a ladybug shell =^C.C^=;;;;; I keep trying to remember to take pictures of them, but I don't want to blind them. =^X.x^=;;
Saaa, I wasn't really excited for any holidays this year. I did make a new years resolution to take better care of myself though, and I got a head start on that with exercise and a healthier diet. I've already lost 25 pounds, so I'm proud of myself for sticking with this and taking it farther. Now I just need to remember to go and buy groceries =^C_C^= Maybe I will do that tomorrow when I go out to buy a cuttle bone for sparky and charlie's salt water dish. =^^=;;;;;;; |

Not too much is new in life.
lol probably the biggest thing is that people keep asking me what I want for X-mas and I'm like "bleeeeeh I don't know".
Aside from that though, nothing huge. I transfered servers in WoW though while they still have the character transfer from Tich avalable. lmao you can ALWAYS tell when you run into the horde from Tich on this new server though seeing as how they are almost always all deced out in epics and even horde 15 levels lower than you try to gank you. =^O.o^=;; *roflstomped lowbie horde with a HOLY priest lawlawlawl* The horde that are from Kalecgos are just like "eeeeeeh we don't pvp despite being on a pvp server" and I think that might have been because (1) the alliance out numbered the horde on Kalecgos and (2) it was just not a very populated server. lol
Well, those horde in Battle Grounds are learning something new though, since we're tearing them up and they can't win in BG anymore. =^O.o^= Just wish I could claim that I was one of the people helping do all the damage. xDDD But nope! I just keep that mage of "OMG FIRE EVERYWHERE AAAAAAAAAH RUN AWAAAAAAY" alive.... although most people on the other end of my mage friend don't have characters that can live ;ong enough to say what I put in quotes. lol
saaa good computer game times <3
My new guild is awesome too. lol about 90% of them are from Singapore and are hilarious. There are -- I think -- 5 guys named Sam in the guild and they are all on vent all the time and so when they talk to each other it takes them like 3 minutes to figure out who they are talking too. xDD And they are aaaall super nice. Like, we just GIVE each other stuff rather than ripping each other off which is a great change for me. |
