I'm not happy right now. I don't know why.
Oishi only made it worse. That's weird, nya. I mean, for Oshi to make it worse. Usually he makes it better. He's good at the mother hen stuff, after all. Hmph. I guess I don't need Oishi all the time! Not like I ever did, but for cheering up and stuff...
And the cheerleading practice... is weird. At least the girls are cute, though! It's fun to show off for them, and I've gotten so many love letters this week that I'm almost afraid to open my locker in the morning. Maybe I'll go on a date with one of them. That might be fun.
Eh, I still feel rotten. I'm gonna go walk to Gakuto's house. Bran-chan likes Finn-chan, anyway, so at least they can play together.

This hasn't been a good week. I mean, it was good because Oishi's going to play with me in the next match, and I found out who stole Daigoro (And Momo and I are plotting REVENGE!) but ya know. Getting a black eye really sucks.
That Akutsu from Yamabuki really IS a monster. Not my fault that I was walking on the same side of the street as him! And maybe Oishi's right that I could have been a little... "less confrontational" was what he said. But he was a JERK! And I'm the one who got hit!
One of Rikkai's players, the "Second Year Ace" was with there, too, and he didn't even TRY to stop Akutsu! They're both so nasty! I'm glad neither of them goes to Seigaku, that's for sure!
Gakuto, I'll bring Bran-chan over in the afternoon. At least it'll let me get away from my family. Who knew my sister could be such a mother hen? I can barely sit up without someone coming in with an ice pack and asking me if I'm going to DIE!
School is gonna be a relief after this weekend.

Gakuto is THE BEST. Do you know what he gave me for Christmas? He gave me a PUPPY. A very cute puppy that can keep Finn-chan and Gigi-chan company! I named her Rembrandt, after one of my favorite kinds of toothpaste, but that's so long that we're just calling her Bran-chan. There were so many cool brands to choose from, though. I mean, just look here! My sister was even nice enough to help me convince Mom to let us keep her! I don't think either of them knows how BIG she's going to get... but I guess they'll find out. I mean, my sister at least saw Finnegan when Gakuto brought him over on a walk once... But they both love Bran-chan, so I'm sure it will be fine. I wonder if she'd like to come to school to meet everyone. Maybe I could have the tennis team and everyone else come over to my house to see her sometime? Chidori-chan will coo over Bran-chan, I'm sure, since she likes dogs so much.
Anyway, thank you, Gakuto! She's sleeping right now, but maybe I'll bring her over to see Finn-chan later.
Christmas was kind of weird this year, though. Oishi was. He was like... ARGH. I don't know. But he was weird. It was like he was avoiding me, and then he told me it was because of that dumb punishment we have to do for Inui's love advice column, but then he said there was something else and I just don't GET HIM sometimes. Because we're the Golden Pair and I HATE it when he does this and goes all responsible. And I can't do ANYTHING for him because he's being STUPID and worrying about absolutely nothing. Oishi, you worrywart! The only reason this is affecting our game is because you're making a big deal about it!
Ochibi-chan has a secret! I think he might try to kill me if I told anyone, but I'm so PROUD of him! Our little first year is growing up! Though Akutagawa-kun is kind of strange... I mean, he was sleeping under the table, and then he woke up and was REALLY excited about my acrobatics. It was like that match he had with Fuji, except I don't think I'm as thrilling as Fuji is with his triple counters. Kinda odd, but he seemed nice once he woke up.
I have to let Oishi and Gigi-chan meet Bran-chan! Oishi, you'd better be able to come over!

I. HAVE. DAIGORO BAAAAAAAACK!
Thank you, Oishi! And everyone! This has been the best birtday ever! I'm at home, jumping around (with my new MOONSHOES that Ochibi-chan got me! Must thank him at practice tomorrow!), and hugging Daigoro, who Oishi RESCUED for me! Oishi is the BEST doubles partner in the WHOLE WORLD!
My room's not empty anymore! Daigoro makes it look like normal!
And I had cake and Ponta with Oishi at our Spot and it's been the Best Week Ever.
Except that Inui said he's gotten letters from that newspaper advice column, and he looked... really happy. That just CAN'T be a good sign. What if... I get sick! Can't do simulations! But then I'd leave Oishi all alone, and I can't really do that...
Fight on, brave Eiji! Don't let Inui scare you! And... if it's too bad, you can always get Oishi to take you for hamburgers!

My room has been so weird lately without Daigoroh! It's just not the same without him leaning against the wall... He always was leaning to the left, too. My room seems so empty now!
I haven't been myself lately, nya. Making fun of Momo just hasn't been as much fun, and I can't jump as high anymore. Oh, I hope whoever took him has been treating Daigoroh all right!
Oishi said he'd be fine when I went to see him after he'd been stolen... But then again, it was really late at night and I woke him up, so maybe he was confused. Daigoroh, where are you?
It's time to take matters into my own hands! Seigaku, fight-o!

Ah, the Sei-Rudolph festival was so much fun! There was really good food, and a lot of people, including OISHI and GAKUTO! And Finn-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Finn-chan licked a lot of people, which I guess is a good time for him since he's a dog, but he also squished a lot of people. Including me. Finn-chan is HEAVY.
There was a really cool haunted house, and everyone had such cool costumes, although Oishi ruined his being a mother hen. Gakuto and I dressed up as each other, and we won a prize! Acrobatic players WIN AGAIN! As always.
And... I guess I was bad and didn't post for a while. And now Fuji and I have to go check out the other teams. Inui said we were going to go look at Rokkaku... But what if they see is and are mean and nasty? FUJI! We need to wear disguises! And learn some cool ninja stuff so we can sneak around without them noticing us! How long does it take to learn stuff like that? Could we do that stuff that Naruto does? Like make clones of ourselves? That'd be really cool! And then we could use that for tennis and...
And Hanashi-sensei is looking over my shoulder and wants to know what I'm doing... So I'd better go now!

I think Gakuto poisoned Hyotei! I helped him carry it over, but I wonder how he got it into the water... And what can I do at Seigaku that would get us all out of classes like that? I hope he didn't give any of that Penal Tea to his dog, though. That would be... cruelty to animals! Finn-chan might have to go to the animal hospital, and that would just be too sad.
Oh, oh! And Gakuto and I cooked dinner! Kind of. It almost burned and set off the fire alarm, but then I called Oishi, and he fixed it! But... maybe I should get someone to help me, next time. Fuji or Oishi? Could you come help me learn how to cook? Gakuto's mom got really red when she saw what we did to her pot... I hope it's not ruined! It was only noodles, after all...
And now I know why I haven't seen Oishi lately... He got a job! O-ISH-I! You didn't even tell me! How COULD you?! Aren't I your doubles partner?

Ah, the water park was so much fun! Fuji and I made sure that everyone showed up, and we all had a great time. After some gentle persuasion from myself, Kaidou went swimming, and even Tezuka went on the water slide! Tezuka was a lot harder to convince than Kaidou, though. I wouldn't have gotten him to go if it hadn't been for those nice kids who showed up. Thanks, random kids! They thought that Tezuka was an adult, and begged him to go on the slide!
Saa, Tezuka, maybe you should glare a bit less? Though at least the kids got to have a good time, thanks to you!
Oishi even went on the water slide with me! I think he caught a cold, but he kept saying that he was fine. We had a good time, though! And now Fuji and I are studying rabbits AND birds for our science project! There's so much going on to keep up with!
Gakuto's coming next week to get some of Inui's Penal Tea... I hope it doesn't kill him. He wouldn't listen to me when I said he was risking his life! I'll have to make sure an ambulance is standing by for him. We acrobatic players have to stick together, after all. And beat any dumb Momos who think we can't play doubles.
Did anyone else know that Gakuto has a dog?

Ah, Fuji slept over tonight to help me get ready for tomorrow! The water park is going to be so much fun! I have my swimsuit and towel and everything ready to go, I'm so excited!
Ah, but Oishi, I'm not gonna wear those silly floaty things! I can swim as well as I can play tennis, nya!
Ooooh, and Oishi came over earlier this week to help me with homework. Thanks, Oishi! We managed to conquer the EVIL math and I even learned some new English that I can use tomorrow! Oishi brought Gigi-chan over, and she helped us study. Gigi-chan likes to sit on Oishi's head, though. I think it'll be a problem when she gets bigger and doesn't fit anymore!
Hey, hey, Fuji, are we bird watching tomorrow? That project is going to be due soon, isn't it?

Uwahhhhhhhh! I've had to do so much work for Inui! Just because I was so busy doing my school work, I have to be his assistant! It's not fair! He makes me go running with him, and then I have to help him with that awful juice! Someone help me!
On Friday, though, I escaped! Out of school, and freedom! Oishi and I went to get ice cream, and we were by a pet store! Momo showed up, too! He spent all of his money on hamburgers, that bum! Even after he spent all of my money on them last week! The store had the CUTEST little kitties, though, and Oishi got one! I named her Gigi-chan, and she loves him! Mom wouldn't let me have her, but I know that she'll be happy with Oishi! He's really good with animals and he'll take great care of her.
The best part is that I can come visit her whenever I want!
Oishi didn't have enough money with him at the pet store for everything Gigi-chan needed, but luckily Sengoku-kun from Yamabuki and Ohtori-kun from Hyotei were nice enough to help us figure out what to get. Atobe? I think his name was, paid for her and all her stuff! It was really nice of him, but he wasn't a very nice person. And then! That guy that Momo and I played in the Kantou tournament and beat, showed up! Oishi and I are going to play a match against him and his partner on Wednesday, and we're going to show him not to insult the Golden Pair, nya! He was SO awful! He stole Gigi-chan and tried to run away with her!
Luckily, one of the other Hyotei guys had his racket with him, so I gave that to Taka-san and sent him off to rescue Gigi-chan! Taka-san to the rescue! We got Gigi-chan back safely, and then took her back to Oishi's house. She's really happy there, and Oishi's mom really likes her.
Ohtori-kun, you were right, she likes to chase after fingers more than the toys we got her! How do you know so much about cats?
And Oishi, thank you for getting Gigi-chan! I'm really glad that she doesn't have to be lonely at that pet store anymore! I'll come over after school and see her, okay?

Wah, everyone's been so busy! Mouuuuuuu, I've missed so much that's gone on!
I can't believe that I missed a fight! With Fuji's younger brother and that MEAN, NASTY guy from Yamabuki! Instead, I was stuck doing extra work for my math course because Kinoto-sensei is an evil witch!
The Plan is at least progressing, right Fuji? Even if those two are being weird, we can still go through with it!
Oishi, you'll help us with The Plan, won't you?
And finally! That weird juice that Inui named after me won't be forced on us again! Although I think Momo should have to drink it and suffer like the rest of us.
Ochibi-chan, Momo, do you want to go to the burger place with Oishi and me after practice? And maybe we can get ice cream, too!

Today Ryuzaki-sensei told us that we had to "further Inui's data collecting for the good of the team! OR ELSE." So, everyone is stuck writing in these online journals for the rest of the year. For an old lady, Ryuzaki-sensei can be really scary sometimes. I almost hid behind Fuji when she said that! She looked like an evil space monster!
This time, I think Inui's gone too far! It's hard enough playing him when he has data on us from being on the same team, but with this, he's even going to know what we ate for dinner! Will that really help? I want Seigaku to be number one, but I'm still not sure how Inui knowing that I ate ramen for dinner tonight will help me play better.
Oh no! What if Inui decides that I haven't been doing enough outside of practice and makes me drink Inui Juice Super Deluxe Excellent!? Or maybe it'll be Version Kill Kikumaru With Bad Flavor... Someone, help me! I don't want to drink that!
My sister is the most wonderful person in the world! She bought me new toothpaste because she wanted me to do well in today's tournament! Isn't that so nice of her? It is! And we did do well! Even though Oishi was hurt, we still won! It was SO much work supporting Momo, though. I'm glad that I usually have Oishi to do support for the Golden Pair. But! Nya! We showed that pair from Hyoutei! If you don't have the stamina, don't use acrobatic play! I wish it had been Oishi playing with me today, though. Not that it was bad playing with Momo, but that guy made me so mad! I wanted to show him just who's the better acrobatic player, but I couldn't! We won, though, so I guess that's good enough. Seigaku, number one!
I'd better go to bed now, 'cause it's getting late. SEE, SEE, Inui? I'm being good! So no weird juice for me!
