In the Spider-Man coloring book I left out, somebody scribbled over Spidey's face on every single page in which he was featured.

They also drew hearts around Doc Ock.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1028222/I-create-gods-time--I-think-exist.html

Terry Pratchett's my favorite author. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's this year, so it's become apparent that he won't be writing forever. But here's a great article he wrote about god.
(The headline and subtitle for the article are completely stupid and miss the point of what he's saying, but read the whole thing.)
His attitude towards religion doesn't surprise me at all-- in his books he always is very satirical of religion and gods, but in the end you get a sense of his love for humanity despite its faults. People in his view are inherently more good than bad, which is more credit than a lot of religious views give us. I love a good optimistic atheist, and I wish there were more of them in the public eye who were half as good at expressing it as Terry Pratchett. Atheism wouldn't have nearly as bad a public image.
He knows how to love the world and the human experience as it is, without dressing it up with supernatural explanation. Despite (or because of) all the magic he describes, it comes across in his writing, in the most elegant and hilarious way possible, and that's why I say he's my favorite author.

This is my first attempt at a hoax-- good idea or bad? (Hopefully the little blip of a disclaimer at the end is enough to get me out of trouble.)

Shitty shit shitty god awful horrible terrible piss poor hideous miserable unfunny SHIT.

If any, ANY of you buy tickets to this movie or any future movies made by the same HORRIBLE PEOPLE, you're banned from my life. And if any of your friends buy tickets, you are guilty by association and banned from my life. I am taking the hard line here-- I don't want to know anybody who knows anybody who is willing to in any way fund the existence of these... these... these brutal rapes of the once-funny art of parody.

Zucker Abrahams and Zucker are dead, long live Zucker Abrahams and Zucker.
