Open for business...

Almost exactly one year to the day I have finally returned!
To give an explanation for my abrupt disappearance would literally take days, if not weeks.
Suffice to day, due to the careless disposal of what some call a "pitfall", I have been in a quite uncomfortable state for some time.
But please don't fret dear readers, the sun is out in full force, shining it's rays down on fields of fresh wild flowers.

So tell me, how were the fireworks this year?

It sure has been a long while since I wrote last!
I hope everyone has been doing well and making lots of new friends!

The spring has come and gone and fall is steadily approaching.
The traffic in and out of the store has been pretty steady today with the special I've been running on unique wallpapers! Even Kapp'n came in to browse my fine if somewhat limited selection.
The little Nook's are doing well, my boys are really getting the hang of running the family business for thier pop! Let's hope they don't get too good at it or they'll put their poor old dad out of a job!

The last several weeks there have been campers in and out of town for the weekend. No doubt they've been enjoying the beautiful summer weather, the twinkling of the lightning bugs and the buzz of the cicadas. I got in a discussion with one of them about mountain climbing, believe it or not! They asked me what the last peak I bagged was. I wonder what that was supposed to mean?

So how has everyone's summer been so far?

Well, after a long vacation I am finally back!
I visited the town of Esper for a couple of weeks and was stranded there for months!
It seems that all of this "terrorist" activity has halted the train that I was going to take back home, and since the train is the ONLY way to get back to Juno I ended up staying with my good friend PJ for quite a long while!
I was quite worried about who would look after the shop, but it seems that my two boys did a fine job of running things while I was gone!
Some day I'm sure they'll make excellent shopkeepers!
Well when I did get back my mailbox was stuffed with letters from all sorts of animals demanding furniture, stationary, fishing poles, you name it!
oh well, let this be a lesson to anyone who decides to take a weekend getaway: NEVER DEPEND ON THE TRAIN AND THOSE FOOLISH MONKEYS THAT RUN IT!!

ooooo! it's starting to get cold outside!
my favorite season is here! eating, tricks and changing leaves!
i received a barber's pole into the shop today, how i'm going to sell it i have absolutely no idea!
i am very strongly thinking about writing a couple of letters to some friends of mine today, i think letter writing is becoming a lost art.
i'm really happy i've made so many friends on here!
so i was wondering,
tell me all about yourselves!

today i kept myself quite busy by sweeping the store and setting up displays. i just got a big shipment of candy in for halloween!
i'm sure this store will be filled with animals pretty soon!
and not to be sneaky or anything, but i decided to snack on a few pieces myself! *snicker*
last night after i closed the shop i took a little walk down to the pond to watch the stars. i noticed how chilly it's starting to get! fall is my favorite season and it's nearly here!
i was thinking about going fishing but i was way too tired after such a long day (i was working from eight o'clock in the morning until ten thirty at night!)
all things considered i had a very eventful and enjoyable day, and i hope you all had the same! *grins*

i got a letter from my friend in Juno today.
he's doing well and informed me that he has planted not one but two cherry trees! i bet those cherries will be delicious!

i thought i'd use my first entry to do a little promotion for one of my good friends. helping someone always seems like a good way to start things off! right?!?
