Oh, uh, heyyyy livejournal. I just had to pop in and share some unadulterated joy with you! Like old times. I know you love my word vomit! LOVE IT! EMBRACE IT! Yeah i've had a lot of posts i've wanted to make but i haven't had the motivation to because they mostly involve pictures or whatever and i'm lazy. And anyway last time i checked livejournal only cares about Twilight anymore and i... do not. (i would read the books, but a) i know they're terrible [and i've seen them in the bookstore and they are shockingly large books for apparently being about teenagers who, as far as i can tell, sit around telling each other they're pretty while not having sex], b) i don't want to spend time or money on terrible things, c) i'm sure i would fall into the trap like everyone else and make fun of it but at the same time enjoy sparkly teenaged vampires and werewolves or whatever the fuck, and d) i don't have the energy to make fun of stupid fandom shit no matter how much of a guilty pleasure it is. yes i'm sure it's fun! but the thing is, i don't care!) That was a lot of parenthetical words just to announce WHATEVER, I'LL DO WHAT I WANT! You just don't understand my complex emotions, livejournal! Here's how i spend my time these days: watching movies from Netflix, watching anime, and playing my DS. I've got no fandom niche for that, i don't know what to do. :(

I am now 2 for 2 loving summer movies. I WANT TO SEE IRON MAN AGAIN, OH TONY/PEPPER. Indy better not suck, man, that old guy is getting outpaced pretty quick here.

Due in part to my current BSG resurgence whatever-the-heck, i rented White Noise 2, as i had been wanting to see it since i first heard about it simply because it stars Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff. Together for the first time! As expected, the movie itself was totally, totally dumb (direct to dvd, what what!), but luckily it was also relatively pretty. Also: MALCOLM REYNOLDS AND KARA THRACE. It is only a dream come true for me! So here, look at some pretty screencaps so you don't have to watch a dumb movie. ......It was really dumb. ( Mal and Kara: The Feature Film! *JAZZHANDS* )

ALSO, i just watched Enchanted, which was NOT dumb but rather extremely delightful ( BECAUSE )

Oh man, i am so slow at this and i didn't even finish. But it is fun! And difficult, for being entirely made up of arbitrary, subjective lists. IT'S THE QUANTIFYING THAT MAKES IT HARD! ...I'm so lame i'm agonizing over a livejournal meme like it's a doctoral thesis. "WHICH SHIPPY SCENE IS BETTER?!??!?? I'd better assign point values and make a chart."

So ask me my Top Fives of as many or as few things as you would like and i will respond with lists in another post! I am bad at decisions so this is probably a very poor idea, but OH WELL.

(note: i doubt anyone will actually use these because i doubt anyone reading this journal has actually heard of Princess Tutu. BUT THEY ARE FREE FOR THE TAKING! or you can just... look at them. i am so relevant to fandom at large, gosh!) Also: SUMMERBOT. Since my friends list has been talking about Terminator stuff a lot, i went and watched the first two movies before starting on The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which i have now finished. ( Spoiler Alert! The robot falls in love. )
