Wow, it's been awhile since I could do one of these posts. Since I stopped vidding, I didn't think I'd win any awards again, but a new awards site went up so I figured I'd submit some stuff. To my surprise, I actually made out pretty good. I was particularly proud to win "Best Video" and "Vidder of the Round." Woo-Hoo! Go me!

In other news, I had to take Ashley to Urgent Care yesterday. She went to the bathroom and there was blood in her urine. I tell ya, there's nothing like that to freak the hell out of an 8 year old. She has a urinary tract infection. Welcome to womanhood, my dear. *sigh*

Notes: I’m not even sure how to exactly describe this video. It’s a LoVe video, but with a whole lot of messed up family/angsty stuff thrown in. It’s a bit of a character study of Logan and Veronica as well. I wanted to show that they both have their reasons for putting up walls, but if they’re ever going to have a relationship, they need to look past the surface and try and see life through each other’s eyes.

This video ended up being of epic proportion. If there is an award for most clips used in one video, this would have to be pretty darn close. That being said, feedback is desperately appreciated because I’m not even sure if this video works. I seriously just don’t know. Thanks. :)

Notes: This latest vid I did as a request for another board member. It's strictly LoVe and not too angsty. I didn't do anything fancy in this one because I just wanted to keep it sweet and simple. In fact, I cheated a bit because I used almost the whole "1st kiss" clip at the end of the vid. I didn't plan it that way, but it fit way too perfectly. I've been waging an internal struggle about leaving it that way. It goes against all my vid making prinicples, but I just like it. I swear it has nothing to do with making the vid quicker to finish. Feedback, as always is appreciated. Just no complaining about the long clip at the end... :) I already know, I'm a bad, bad girl.
