Ok, so I am not dead. (I think I say that too much here...) Really. And life is going pretty good. Well except for the 10 inches of snow that arrived last night - and is still falling. So much for landscaping before school ends. Blah. Anyhoo, despite the fact that I can no longer wear my pretty shoes for a while, I still have a smile on my face and am looking forward to finals being over and summer (and summer sun) to arrive. :D

It's that time of the year again. I'm working for Orange Julius (4th Christmas, yay), which has decreased the amount of time I want to use for drawing and the like. However, I did finish editting and posting Painting an Oyster today, so consider it a Christmas present if you have been waiting for me to finish it. I'm done!! :D
And, this was supposed to be a Christmas card for my friends this year, but since I didn't finish it (obviously, just look at poor Ginny's face), I decided to just put up the sketch.

Hi. I am still alive. Honest. My hiatus just got extended for some reason. Deathly Hallows only took me about 10 days to read (silly work) and it gave me the worst sinus infection from all my crying at the end. Lol. Meh. I went to Europe after for a month, then school started the day after I got back, so that kind of took over, and now here I am, like 4 months later... O_o Oops?
Anyhoo, I finished writing Painting an Oyster while I was on vacation, but I haven't had a chance to type it up yet. Hopefully before Christmas... Bah.
Speaking of Christmas though... I am now accepting Christmas Commissions. They make great gifts you know. So if you are interested, check out my page and give me a shout. :D

Well, as with the last few books, I am going on hiatus until I finish reading Deathly Hallows. I am both excited and nervous about what will happen. It will be the end of a chapter in a very long, and very meaningful, time of my life. Not to say that I will disappear, but it just won't be the same on the flip side of the series; the mystery will be gone. Oh well.

Only, I don't have much to do other than hang out with the New Boyfriend and those who are still in E-town and not crazy busy. So in other words...

Well, we got rained out yesterday, and rained out again today. It was weird, because I realised I have nothing to do really. I ended up colouring. Yay. Anyhoo, the first week of work has gone pretty well. I've met a bunch of new people, and got to know the people who were there last year better. About half of the people from last year came back, though none of my friends did. Bah. Oh well. I've already got some pretty awesome bruises... ;p Anyhoo, I'll show off my new picture now...

Well, I've been sick for the past week. So I got to write term papers and study for finals while I felt like I was dying. Oh, and write them too. :( To make it up to myself I went shopping on Friday. My mum bought me a bunny; his name was Hoppy. Then on Easter Sunday, 1994, my puppy, The Kellypoo, killed him. On Easter Sunday. :( Poor Hoppy. Lol. I get all happy thinking about them, but then reality kicks back in and I get all sad again. Tell me I'm not going crazy...

I have been smiling all week. And no, it's not because I'm back on drugs... It's been sunny, and some how that bloody sun has turned my frown upside-down. ... I did not just write that... Anyhoo, despite all the shit that has happend in the past few weeks I feel happy and hopeful for the first time since before the Ex became the Ex. I got a call from Mr. Dustin to come back to the landscaping place I was working for last summer, which is great. They were fun to work for. Now I just have to get Miss. Bergernerger-gerer to come back and perhaps Mr. Andrew and all will be good. Lol. Right.
The upsetting part about feeling happy though is that I am suddenly begining to be upset with all of the shit I didn't realise I was living with. It's almost like the sun has given me my sight back. I suppose we'll just have to see if I can flourish back into me now. Well, the new me, whose been hiding out somewhere inside of me for my entire life, but has declined to show herself until now. Bah.

Well we can all blame this one on captainarrg. That stomach thing is just weird by the way...
RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No tags back.
1. I have this insatiable need to organise things, so my room is the most organised place you will ever enter. However, I am the most disgusting person my sister has ever met, or so she claims.
2. To further explain the first part... I don't like doing laundry, so I have bought enough clothes so that I can put it off for almost two months... Apparenlty this huge pile of dirty clothes disgusts people...
3. I never make my bed. I don't see the point; I'm just going to get back into it later.
4. Getting away from my more dirty habbits... I have this obsession with buying pretty underwear/sleep things... ~shrug~ I think I've spent about $1000 this year alone. Stupid Victoria Secret!!
5. I chew on my cuticles all the time. Drive myself nuts, but I just can't seem to help myself.
6. I have two different ears.
7. My feet were full sized when I was 12. Imagine a 4 and 1/2 foot me walking around with size 10 feet... No wonder all of my friends left me... My dad used to call me pontoon feet. And the saddest part about all of this is that the Ex and I have the same size feet and hands. He used to claim that my feet look too long, but I kept having to remind him that his feet were just too small and mine are perfectly proportional to my body.
8. I collect the nicknames that people give to me. I think I'm at about 15 right now. I also like to come up with nicknames for other people, though I don't always tell them what it is...
9. I get really weird when I'm in the sun for too long. The people I worked with this summer thought I was smoking crack when they weren't looking...
10. And finally, I like to pick at things. Like strings, or scabs, or things that are in places that they shouldn't be. Heh, my dermatoligist gets irritated about that, but then, he wouldn't be making any money off of me if I wasn't like this... Lol.
Well there you go - as half my friends list runs away... Bah!
But yes, the best part now...

Well, I am supposed to be leaving for Victoria tomorrow, and I feel like I am already on the plane. You know, that horrible light-headed feeling because you're not on solid ground? Bah. I hate that feeling. If I didn't know I was going to end up somewhere other than E-Town I would never get on planes. But yes, I don't know if I feel this way because I am sick, or because I am suffering from withdrawl. :( Pity me. Lol. Anyhoo, some art. Well, I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. I think that mine wasn't too bad, despite the OJ bondage. Made some money and new friends, so I suppose it wasn't that bad. Over all I think this year has had the most impact on me out of all the others I've had to gruel through. I switched schools again, lost 15 pounds, fell in love, met some very interesting people, replaced my waredrobe (and added some very nice things I never had the confidence to own before), had my heart broken, discovered that people will always surprise you, and a whole swath of other things that I know are in my memory, but they refuse to come out. I think that through all of it though that I was able to figure out what I want from my life. It's a scary and daunting realisation because now I no longer have the excuse of not knowing what to do; now I know what I want and the only thing holding me back is myself. Well, myself and reality I suppose. Lol. Anyhoo, how about I do that meme that's floating around...

Well, wasn't that fun? I hope that my art for this year gets better and more, well, me. I'm debating if I need to go back to art school to improve, but I suppose that this year will decide for me. Anyhoo, here are my New Year's Resolutions, just so that I can post them and feel like I am accomplishing something by doing so...
- Exercise and eat healthy more often
- Cut back on the amount of money I spend on clothes and shoes
- Work on my novels and comics
- Try and finish up the fan art and fics that I promised that I would...
- Figure out a way to balance my life so I won't have to take so much medication
- Get over the Ex
- Read more and draw more
- Get out and do more things
- Meet more people who are not the usual "black sheep" which I enjoy befriending
Well, that's all that I can think of for now. I am sure that more will pop up... I have a few more days off before I have to go back to school, and I am looking forward to being a lazy bum. So I am going to toddle off and enjoy them. I need to finish that bloody Eragon book even if it bores me to death. How on earth is it possible that all the interesting stuff happens in the last 100pgs of that 500 page monstrocity? Editor, what were you thinking? Bah.

Ah, can you tell I am running out of ideas for titles?? Bah. Anyhoo, classes are over and I have now entered the final leg of the year; its filled with midterms, final papers, final exams, cleaning computers in the library, and of course, working at my favourite place in the world: Orange Julius. Don't ask. Taking a bit of a break (again) before I hit the books, so I thought I would show you all the art I have amassed since the last time I posted. Well, wasn't that fun? I've gone shopping a couple of times lately, but it wasn't till yesterday that I actually started to do my X-mas shopping (I got it half done too! Yay me!). I hate Christmas songs, and this year they got to me the first day I went out in December. I am doomed. Doomed I tell you. Especially since I will be working in that damned mall again. Le sob. Oh well. My friend told me that he thinks I am insane and keep shifting and because of that he doesn't think that he will ever really get me. Somehow that thought doesn't bother me at all. I'd prefer to be seen as insane and incomprehensible rather than sane and predictable. Lol.
