- 15:28 Chocolate eyeballs are in the candy dish! tiki *hearts* Halloween. #

We're pretty sure this Stitch-in-Tiger-Suit plush is actually supposed to be specifically Stitch-in-Winnie-the-Pooh's-Bouncy-Frien

So, why no Winnie Pooh markings? 'Tis a puzzlement, especially as Pooh is actually, ya know, licensed by Disney. Maybe they wanna avoid making payments to Milne's estate?

We've probably mentioned these before, but these "Kewsion" mascots deserve attention if only for the sheer dizzying array of beloved anime characters who have now been immortalized as creepy/cute Kewpie dolls. Kimba makes a kind of sense, but Devilman? And, yes, tiki has even been moved to defy her "Buy no more crap" rule to get that Kewpie/Godzilla mascot.

Went to see Bill Maher's Religulous last night. Three cent review: if you think you're gonna be offended, you probably will be. We laughed a lot. And were pretty darned impressed by Jesus - he's working in Orlando now.
Beforehand went to local faux German brewery for dindin. We had dark beer. And the sausage plate, which came with two types of mustard plus mashed potatoes with saurkraut mooshed in.

It R good to B carnivore.
Also some idjit had evidently planted their big juicy wad of chewing gum under the handle of our theater seat, so spent a jolly evening scraping it off our purse & fantasizing about living in Singapore, where such matters are dealt with in a just manner.

Look! We did a really good job parallel parking the tiki car this morning! See? And, close to the curb.
OK, so maybe our life isn't terribly exciting at present. But, we did help bail out Wall Street! Hey, you ungrateful Wall Street weasels, we sure hope you appreciate this when it's bathtime and tiki shows up to use your solid gold bath tub that you bought with your ill-gotten gains to go with the $7,000 shower curtain. We're bringing our rubber duckie!!!

And finally, the exciting conclusion to Around the World in 80 Eight Stitchies!
In which we go to....

Australia! Where Stitch the evil koala is dressed up as ... an evil koala! With a little behbeh koala. (Do baby koalas hang on the arm of their mom like that? Hrm.)
He also walks around. We haven't tried him yet, because all the AA batteries are still in that Stitch we showed the other day who plays the Mickey Mouse Club March. Will he walk to "Waltzing Matilda?" "The Land Down Under?" "Back in Black??" Nah, it's prolly just London Bridge again. But we can hope. No worries, eh?

Part 2 of Around the World in 80 8 Stitchies!
As we come on to ... JAPAN!
(Yeah, yeah, we know, we always have stuff from Japan. Hey, smarty pants, why don't get your own Around the World Stitch blog? Hrmmmm???)

Anyways, these Stitchies are all dressed up for some kind of summer festival (Japan, the coolest country in the world, abounds in summer festivals). So everybody's wearing a lightweight kimono, and they've all got matsuri masks, so they can all pretend to be ... each other, we guess.
BTW we saw some similar to these in a crane machine when last we wuz in Japan. Mr. Tiki mightily flexed his mad UFO skillz, but alas, it's pretty darned difficult to collect an entire set of these puppies without totally annoying the poor SEGA arcade attendant.

Today's theme: around the world in 80 Stitchies!!!
Well, ok, we don't have quite 80. It's more like 8. But, you know.

We'll start with these fashionable knit beanies. They're from Disneyland Par-ee. Mr. Tiki's buddy (who's also from Par-ee) picked 'em up for us last time he was there. He also sent us a picture of his kid wearing a Stitch ears cap, which was, like, totally cute.

This is the first time we can recall getting a Japanese toy (or rather, a toy released in the Japanese market - it's probably made in China) that plays that particular tune. At least it's not "London Bridge" again!

Here's more Halloween Leroy, Stitch as Drac and Stitch as Wolfie.

We are thinking these are scaaaaaary pencil cases, due to the whole zipper thing.

Oh, and check it out - even the tag is cute! It says something about "magical doors." Like, unlocking the doors of perception? Does this mean we all need to start wearing leather pants?
