I was supposed to have pictures of my sister's SUV that "got knocked the f- out" (as the Chris Tucker-ites would say), but sadly, my camera's batteries also "got knocked the f- out." Maybe next update. Or not. Whatever. |

Have spent most of my waking hours playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I have beaten the game - there's more to it though, such as trying to be a *nice* Jedi instead of an evil fucking bastard, but that's rather fucking boring. I found it fun to be cruel to the NPCs in the game, though I probably should have saved that first fallen Jedi Knight I came across in Dantooine, as she was supposed to have been in my party instead of, well, six feet under (or "one with the force" or whatever Lucas wants it to be).
Speaking of George, BioWare should be applauded for writing such an engrossing story with rich, likeable characters and smart dialogue. That's more than I can say for George's rather lame ass Episode 2 (though Episode 1 also had its numerous faults, I found it much better than Episode 2). Fuck the wu shu Yoda - I'd rather have a good plot than a decent, albeit fun, sequence. I'm such a storyline scrub ollool.
Finally watched Adaptation - great movie, but fuck, something always came up every 20 minutes that forced me to pause or stop entirely and handle business. Really hampered things for me in terms of being engrossed - I loathe being bothered when I don't want to be, especially when it's watching a good movie.
Slow past few days otherwise. |

Being sick blows more than a thing that blows a lot, which really blows. Or something. And my lower back hurts whenever I lie down on anything, and while the pain subsides after a while, it's still rather bothersome. Should I see a chiropractor? Nah. If it don't kill ya, it makes you stronger right? Not to mention I no longer have health insurance...perfect timing, I suppose. Or a cruel joke.
Is it me, or has there been a surge in the number of these guys showing up as of late?
Speaking of which, a character much akin to FanBoy will be appearing in the radio show, which will be done in the style of Phil Hendrie's wonderful show, that I'm doing for ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) duodenum's film. I may provide MP3 samples sometime in the future. |

So, I had this weird dream last night. I was supposed to return an overdue video to the nearest Blockbuster. To get there, I had to enter Room 230 in a large building. Along the way, I came across Bill Murray (I'm thanking cutemew for that one after telling us that she didn't know who he was), dressed in a wife-beater and vertically-striped red, orange and yellow boxers and black socks. He came with me me to the elusive Room 230/Blockbusters, also needing to return two videos. When we finally got there, we were greeted by a clerk, who looked strangely like Philip Seymour Hoffman and <http://us.imdb.com/name?sweeney,%20julia>Julia Sweeny</a> in her It's Pat getup. I don't remember exactly what happened next, but after an exchange of harsh words between the clerk and myself, I tossed the videos at the window and they disappeared into a strange vortex. A few seconds later, the tapes came out of the same vortex and hit me in the head (the vortex was probably the Klein Bottle). I drop the keys to my crazy Vespa, and before I can pick them up, I find myself outside, with Jigen (who is seemingly a staple in my dreams these days) waiting by the Vespa. He starts yelling at me because I no longer have the keys to the Vespa, then he transforms into Galvatron's cannon and starts firing at me. He eventually hits me with a shot, and the next thing I know the events start repeating themselves from the beginning. It continues several times more until I wake up.
Was I trapped like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day? Either way, this would make for one kick-ass movie. All it needed was a pony and some ninjas. |

Really enjoying this guy's art.
If anybody knows if/when there are auditions for the dub of Wolf's Rain, please tell me. I really want to try out for a role. Not that I'm actually experienced in voice acting or anything, but it wouldn't hurt my wallet and ego to try. Who knows...maybe I'll actually land a role never gonna happen.
Going to record more dialogue for duodenum's video thingamabobber tomorrow afternoon. I can't seem to pull off a convincing British accent any more for Grant (one of the three characters I'm voicing). duodenum also sent me a few samples that he edited, and I sound like I have Tourette's Syndrome. Maybe I'm not ready to audition for a role in an anime just yet. Damned pipe dreams.
Recently made an admin on the Bebop Board. I can now go on that banning spree I've always dreamed of.
Friday's journal (yes, I plan on updating that day): X2 (with a review), as well as copies/reviews of the Please Teacher LE DVD+Box and the .hack//SIGN vol. 2 LE w/ OST 2. I might as well toss my wallet in the trash, considering I never have cash in it any more. ;_; |

Saw Phone Booth last night. Good movie, but I was disappointed in how it ended. Too forced. I'd probably see it again on video, but that's about it.
I was sick this past week, and during that time I took a couple of naps. My body clock is all screwed up now because of it - I woke up at noon today. I wasted half the day. And with Daylight Savings tomorrow, things are probably going to be worse.
I guess that's about it. Man, I gotta use this thing more.
